This is probably my second favorite NBA moment. Only second to Kobe’s 60 in his last game for the Lakers and that incredible fourth quarter comeback against the Jazz. Derrick is a class act and his perseverance is unmatched. What a player this kid managed to be in the face of those two injuries. Such a baller and so deserving of this moment. Chills.

I tore my ACL playing basketball and am 3 weeks out of surgery and struggling through the recovery has made me look up to DRose that much more. When I read two days ago that you were going for 6th man of the year, I immediately picked you up on fantasy because I believed in your words. I never gived up on you and so glad that haven't either. I got league pass this season and i remembered switching to this game when he was on the verge of tipping his career high and the game being close. Stuck through the whole thing and that 50 had me gleaming. Every offensive jazz rebound had me anxious because I don’t wanna see this d rose masterclass go for nothing. Exum gets it and d rose blocks it. Once his teammates rushed him, I lost it for this dude. No one more deserving of a 50 piece more than him.

This made me emotional as a heat fan I use to hate going against the bulls back in the day but I always thought highly of rose the injuries really robbed him and I was happy to see this truly inspiring ❤️
