When I'm struggling, I often find myself watching this video. Watching him play with such passion, endure setbacks, and then rise again with that 50 point game is incredibly motivating. It's a reminder that despite challenges, there's always the possibility of a comeback.

I remember when the news broke he had a torn ACL. My dad and I both cried, it was the first time he and I had consistently been watching basketball in our lives together… Rose was something else, brought life to Chicago when he was in his MVP years. You could drive down any street in chicago and see a kid with Derrick Rose 1’s on his feet, or cars and houses with Chicago Bulls banners. Felt like a better city when he was here🥲

I hate what happenend to him back then, I am still a Bulls fan (even tho they are giving me major depression ever since) and I will always be grateful what he gave for the franchise. Not to mention I will always be a fan of his, don't care where he goes. D-Rose made things that a PG shouldn't be able to do, lol. I had people back then asking me "This is what PGs doing now?", they couldn't believe what they saw and I couldn't either. His explosiveness just made him injury prone sadly. He took off like a rocket and landed veeeery hard. He had a reckless game but it was beautiful at the same time. A gift and a curse. Thank you for everything D-Rose, you are the man.
