This documentary is not just about his recovery from the injury it's an inspiration to never give up. Even when people try to put you down you get yourself right back up. Think about were he came from and then look at what he's doing now after his injury in the NBA it's amazing how his focus and determination kept him going.
"I would die on that court...Like... die" Wow I love this player! The best competitor and basketball player i never seen in my god damn life!! This guy is different from the others... Hope to see you stronger than any nba legend next year! From a french fan...I wish you will won this championship, this is what you merit!
i never understood what Drose was feeling until i found out a tore my ACL a couple days ago. I was suppose to play for my school next season. This video has motivated me to get better
Words do not describe how much respect I have for that man, I broke my collarbone recently, and I'm gonna put in all the work to get back stronger than ever, and I'm using Rose as my inspiration, mad respect, Rose.
I have soo much respect for this guy , & I'm in trouble too .. I went to the orthopedic and they said I either torn my acl or I minorly pulled it ... Pray for me I love basketball and I missed the court soo much .. When I found that happen I cried alll day and pray to god it wasn't it . hopefully when I get my MRI ima gonna see . but I respect rose for real . & hopefully ima be on court too because jesus is here to heal me and guide me where ever I go ...
This dude use to be a phenom when he came into the league. One of the most tragic stories in the history of the NBA. His body simply failed him. Chicago will always love you dRose.
Two weeks ago i had an injury, in the middle of a game. I thought i had a torn ACL (like my brother, who also played basketball) and I will never be able to play again. Next day i went to the hospital, and the doctor said it wasnt too bad and in a couple of weeks i would be able to run. I was happy. Althought , i went to make a MRI and waited. Now, i got the results and it says it's a torn ACL and I'm devastated. Maybe i will never to do what i love again just like my brother and i just want to cry.
You're gonna be back men, maybe you're will not be the same player, but you will able to play again the game what you love. Just, look at Rose, use him as inspiration, go there and work hard, as hard as you can, push you to the limits and far away, and the most important thing is belief, belief in yourself. I hope you can play again someday, peace bro and good luck
i pray to god that he comes back strong, he seems like such a legitimate person that understands that he is a role model and really cares what the wider community thinks.
What makes him so easy to cheer for is his humbleness and humility. That's why I want this kid to be successful, people like him deserve that much and you know he'll do better for the world around him as he continues to grow. DRose MVP 2013-14--the true return.
Drose is an enspiration to me.I tore my MCL and now i am training to get my leg even stronger than before. Can walk can run but cant play bbal yet but in 5 monts
Can't wait for the return. Drose you inspire me to push myself even when it gets tough. I've learned to always try my best and to push myself farther than I think I can go. Thank you
I tore a ligament in my ankle on our school's final tournament game . It was a really close game . I was fouled and fell on my ankle . Haven't been walking normally for 4 weeks . I'm just wondering when i'll get back healthy . This video is an inspiration to me .
Man this video always humbles me, and every time I need to find some motivation this always helps me, and especially with what he’s doing this year it shows you what hard work does! 💯🔥
His determination is incredible. I've never seen such NBA player that determined for the game. It's amazing how he knows he's a millionaire, he can live hos whole life without any problems, but he still wants to get back. Maybe is true, his life means basketball.
I am from Serbia and I think it's D.Rose best player, this injury was said to only be even better, I get up every morning around 2 to see Chicago and I can not wait to see him again D.Rose fan!!
I tore my ACL too, and I hope to see you back on the court tearing up opposing defenses soon, that'll get my hopes up for my own recovery. Thanks for the inspiration Rose, and please ignore anyone complaining about you taking your time, I know how hard it is.
I believe in this guy. D' Rose have a special fire within him, and he not only want the championship really bad, but he also is working HARD for it. I've never look up to an NBA player since MJ's prime... and D'Rose got my full respect. He will win a championship - No Doubt.
Great stuff!:) I cannot wait for Rose to come back better than before. He brings a back a championship to Chicago and it will be more than an inspiring story, It will be an example for all of us to how approach our struggles in life. keep it up D-Rose!
I felt the same way when I tore my acl a month ago. To me it was heartbreaking knowing i couldn't prove everybody who doubted me by making the HS basketball team but I'll come back stronger and better than I was before surgery
In 2000 Grant Hill sprained his left ankle that year he averaged 25.8 ppg playing for the Pistons. Next year he averaged 13.8 ppg playing for Orlando. Exactly why you have to be pre cautious when it comes to injuries.
hes one of the most Amazing player , he will win this time the ring the person he is and the player hes become now smart stronger .. i think Bulls will be happy to have Rose back ..... amazing guy he deserve it .
go derrick rose i know you can do it...we want to see you in the playoff games...the whole philippines is waiting for your return in the line-up of chicago..
Derrick rose you inspire me all the kids at my school make fun of me when I play basketball but I don't listen to want they say because if there's anything I've learned from you is that you should always persevere push believe and never give up hope #TheReturn
DROSE realized after so many years that his landings is what's causing all his injuries, because when you watch all his highlights, especially the one when he dunked on dragic, his landing wasn't right, landings like that makes the knees suffer and give in..now he's not prone to knee injuries anymore because he changed his landings.
the word that came in mind to me as i watched this right now is wow, he teares his acl he gets surgery , goes to recover and he pushes himself that is amazing
All the people talking shit about him need to shut up. 99% of his detractors are people who have never had a severe injury. As someone who has had season-ending ACL reconstructions three years in a row, I can tell you that knee rehabilitation is the hardest thing you'll probably ever have to do. You have to start all the way from the bottom and make your way back up. It's a humbling experience. It is very difficult, but, if you work hard, you will come out a new beast. I know your pain, Derrick.
Rose mmuh man :( You arent on the 2k online roster x'( Thats killer to all of us man, come back strong, recover well, and keep up your focus, We love you man, wish you the best!
