Bali 1999 was when i first heard this song. Was madly in love with my Canadian gf that i had met when we were backpacking in Australia. She flew to Bali to surprise me. One of the best weeks of my life. Our relationship never lasted due to distance, sadly. Hope you are having a great life Amy!

This song use to come on a german pop channel and I loved this song as a kid. Such a uplifting song. And as an adult knowing what this song is about. Two years ago I said to my then-26 year old daughter: "Honey, there was this song when you were about five or six that you and I used to love. It was a gorgeous song and had this girl in a car and lots of butterflies...and that's all I remember" and she had no idea what I was on about... And now, here it is... and as gorgeous as ever.
