It wasn't just Mal stealing Audrey's man, it was Ben confessing his love for her in front of the entire school without even breaking up with Audrey first. With them being the most public couple in school, that would've been utterly humiliating, and even traumatizing for someone in high school.
I mean in his defense he was love spelled at that point so he couldn't really control it and Mal wasn't just doing it to be mean she was terrified of her mom but either way from her pov that was crazy 🤣
@@Jayyahu15 her behavior in this movie is kind of baffling because in the first movie Audrey doesn’t even act like she actually likes Ben more like she just wanted to be Queen. Like she was outwardly unsupportive of Ben’s plan to reform the VKs, all of her affection towards him felt so forced and then immediately got a new boyfriend after she was “so heartbroken over Ben” like I’m not saying she wasn’t sad or angry at all but I wish that the movie went more in the direction of her realizing that she never really loved Ben in the first place, she just felt like that’s what she should’ve been doing as demonstrated by her grandmother berating her during Ben’s proposal, and her rap in Queen of mean about how she did everything that she was “supposed to do” because she thought it would all work out. It would’ve been a great parallel to Mal and the other VKs in the 1st movie idk that’s just what I think.
Respect to Disney for cancelling Descendants 3 red carpet premiere in honor of Cameron Boyce's death just a few weeks before the movie was supposed to come out. Instead, they posted a lovely tribute video of Caneron's journey in Disney Channel. Man, what a huge loss. I could imagine that Cameron could've done something awesome on Broadway, theater should've been his real home, unfortunately he never got the chance to experience it 😢
Anyone else noticed how Mal’s hair became more blue throughout the movie, after contact with the ember, and also represents her allowing Hades (her father) back into her life.
The actor who played Mal's father, Cheyenee Jackson is actually pretty huge on Broadway, probably more than you realized if you look at his theater credit. No wonder he has such a strong entertaining singing voice, he certainly had a lot of fun with that role especially performing "Do What You Gotta Do". Bro literally OWNED that number from top to bottom! He also played Mark Bingham, the real life victim of the United 93 crash during 9/11 in Paul Greengrass' United 93. And also had a supporting role in Julie and The Phantoms (my god, he has one powerful musical number that he carried in that show). Cheyenee is extremely underrated
I like how the daughters of the hero and villain of one story take on opposite rolls here. And "Queen Of Mean" is one such a great villain song. Sarah Jeffrey nailed the vocals.
It plays really nicely with the idea of being a villian or a hero being inherited. Which sets off the first movie about kids paying for parents sins. Just because your parents are something, doesn't mean that your going to be as well.
I remember when Cameron Boyce died just a few weeks before this movie came out. It was genuinely heartbreaking. Disney even cancelled the red carpet premiere out of respect for him. Watching this movie is still bittersweet because most of us literally grew up with him.
I honestly waited for Tara to surprise me with a new look because she jokingly said she'd wear a purple wig for this reaction but she surprised us with a tanned look instead 😂
With "Descendants" and "High School Musical" series done being reacted, next it should be "Camp Rock", "Teen Beach Movie", and the must see "Lemonade Mouth" 🙌
I mentioned this in the last video, but before you watch Rise of Red, you need to see Descendants 3 The Royal Wedding as it more properly wraps up these characters and has a tribute to Cameron Boyce. It also sets up 4 as well.

Celia's father's name was announced around the beginning when Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay were announcing The New VKs to be welcomed to Auradon. And, then they happened to forget.
I recall the fact of Hades is Mal's dad , it's based on the early episodes of "House of Mouse" , there was an episode where Hades asks for mickeys' advice on how to get the ladies , then Hades chose to hit on Malificent. I think it's based on that which leads to today descendants 3 where Mal calls Hades "Dad".
Fun Facts: A) Audrey would have never been Ben's queen-Mal and he were having True Love dreams before they even met, and was actually a contributing factor in Ben's decision to bring VK kids to Auradon B) The magic that was used to create the barrier to trap the villians was so powerful it RESURRECTED all of the villians that died in their original movies. C) There is a Royal Wedding episode if you'd like to watch it, it's animated
Fun Facts About Night Falls & Queen of Mean: Right after when this film premiered and Disney put out the music scenes on their music channel, Queen of Mean became a viral overnight hit. It racked up 2 million views following being posted and became the #1 trending video right here on RU-vid. Following that, it became the first song in the movie to reach 100 million views and is the second most viewed video in the entire franchise and to this very day it’s the only song in the Descendants franchise to go viral and it’s also the most liked video in the franchise as well. As for Night Falls, it’s the most viewed song in the entire franchise racking in close to 500 million views with it being in second place behind Queen of Mean as being one of the most liked videos in the franchise. And according to Disney Music’s RU-vid channel both Night Falls and Queen of Mean are in the top 10 of the most popular and viewed videos on their channel. So the new Descendants film has a lot to live up too, and I hope it turns out well for them when the film releases within the end of the week.
Queen of Mean is my favorite song from Descendants and honestly Disney in general, I am so glad that it went viral and is popular. Audrey's motivation was too good, it was very unexpected that she is the person my favorite song comes from, I'm emotionally attached to it
A lot of people have a problem with them doing another Descendants without Cameron, they’re saying it won’t be the same without him, but I personally don’t have a problem because the other 3 aren’t returning.

Don’t forget to watch The Royal Wedding before Descendants 4! It’s animated, and only 20ish minutes, but it’s the proper send-off for these og characters. This movie does have a lot going on. It has Hades being Mal’s father, the new VK introductions, Ben proposing to Mal, and Audrey being the villain. Honestly, it’s a lot to comprehend, but it’s still good.
Kenny Ortega always wants to represent his culture in some way in his films, that is why he was lucky to have the actress Sofia Carson since she is half Colombian. In the fourth film, a well-known actor from high school musical the series will be his big entry into the franchise.

Fun Fact: Queen of Mean is the most popular song out of the whole Descendants franchise. It was so popular, it even went gold. Also, the guy who's Celia's daughter is Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the frog. He's played by the choreographer of the Descendants films (although Ortega helps with the choreography, he hires choreographers to do most of the work).

Just to let you know, there was an animated short film after Descendants 3 called Descendants Royal Wedding where Mal & Ben get married. It was a continuation from the 3rd film & the 4th film continues from that.

the first one has a special place in my heart. the charm is just emaculate in that movie. the second is the most mature I'd say, arguably the best soundtrack i guess (the 1st movie soundtrack does give it a fair fight). the third one is just trash. the had all the potential and just put it in a baby bottle and threw it in the bedazzld trash can and gave it to us. haven't watched the 4th one yet so cant rank it
No spoilers on rise of red from my part what I will say is from what I understand of the storyline it sounds like fun. The choreographer/Director of the original trilogy is not involved Kenny Ortega. With that in mind, though from the trailer that I saw it looks like what the third movie was besides the singing quite a bit of choreography so I am looking forward to it in the next few days
I know this has nothing to do with the film directly but something I found interesting was how in America summer school is for children who are behind hence the "I never went to summer school, I was too smart for that comment", however in the Caribbean it's the opposite. Summer school is paid for by the parents (those who can afford it) and is usually used for children who want to get ahead in the future curriculum. For example, you're currently in 8th grade and it's the summer before you go into 9th grade, the curriculum for summer school follows what you would be learning the first semester of 9th grade. This way when school starts you're already ahead and have practice of what's to come, it's not the exact exercises so it's not like you already know the answers to coursework and stuff, you just know the topics and how to do the different stuff etc.
Theres also Descendants: the Royal Wedding. Its an animated short video of Mal and Ben's wedding, while also giving tribute to Cameron Boyce. If you want, you can react to it on your channel or off, either way, its worth watching. Loved the video! 😁❤

I loved watching these reactions and am now convinced to watch the new movie when it comes out later this week to enjoy your reaction to it as well. After all the Descendants movies are done, it would be cool if you keep the Kenny Ortega vibes going with Julie and the Phantoms on Netflix. Just 1 season, 9 episodes and easily broken into 3 parts for reactions.

Bro, this last film may not be my favorite but it very successfully manages to close a universe/trilogy full of history (Books, games and short films). I still think it has an introduction with Good to be Bad and a very beautiful ending with the Core Four, it still seems unreal that next year will be 10 years since the first film.
Let's be real. They just needed to increase the amount of security that they had. There was hardly any security at the museum, put more guards and put stuff in plexiglass. With the barrier, have more guards and personnel on site. Make the barrier close more quickly. That is how you can fix the problem instead of closing the barrier forever.
