This is the Cameo Theater in San Antonio, Texas... Not Miami. This exact show was actually my first rock concert ever. I was a sophomore in high school. My mom dropped me off at the show that evening. I was right in front of the stage. Eric was super, super late getting on stage that night... like an hour late, maybe. The concert was incredible. So loud and pure. The notes just sonically-lanced and resonated through your whole body, like skyscraper-sized tuning forks. I had started playing the guitar that year, and seeing someone like Eric live, was mind-boggling. It was the still the era of the guitar hero, and people like Eric were holy. Fans after the show outside were freaking-out and so excited. I called my mom on a pay phone to come pick me up, and she sent my brother because it had gotten too late. This was when Cliffs and Trademark were on the radio all the time, because of the success of Ah Via Musicom. I wish there were photos or videos of this show.
My mistake sorry! That's such a cool story though. It must have freaked you out to realize that the show that you had just seen and enjoyed that much had been professionally recorded through a soundboard! I have the whole show if you want me to upload it at some point
@@PROGROCKBOOTLEGS I already downloaded it, when you posted it! Hope that's ok. Did you have it on a webpage site? I appreciate you uploading it. I had been looking for it forever, since it was a special moment in my life. Thank you!
@@RuiCavender oh no of course. I mean it's free for everyone to download. Cliffs of Dover, high Landrons and his cover of Spanish castle magic from that show are guitar triumphs in my opinion.
