It's so wild to me that you refer to this like it's a filler video as you work on the Pikachu one, but you designed and fully rendered three entire evolutionary lines (you were given a basis, but still), gave them little simple animations and Pokedex entries, and then have some more fully-realized drawings during the credits as them as Sonic characters, just as a bonus.

Can we all take a moment to enjoy the fact that in the Pokédex screen the sprites are even animated! (Maybe tweened….?) The loops are so smooth and it’s just fun to watch the lil fakemon bob up and down as their entries are read.

I'd be surprised if people thought that WASN'T tweening, lmfao. "No, they just perfectly animated the same dimensions and perspective being distorted with 100% consistency by hand!" And once you understand basic animation it's kind of more preferable if they were just standing there as a still image. It gives me that "pulled out of the illusion by laziness" feeling like when anime uses CGI for things like hands playing instruments or just the entire animation.

Plaguepourii is my favorite fanmade pokemon ever. idc about how many other people think plague doctor spritzy evolution is this or that, THIS ONE IS PERFECT and would be an instant perma member of my teams. Subscribed, absolutely. you never have to do another one of these again, but seeing you go through the drawing process for this has cemented the fact that I wanna see more of your art, period.

One thing I've been impressed with since finding your channel is the extra 'polish' that goes into everything. You didn't JUST design those electric Eeevees, you also created a kickass splash art for it too. And here, not only did you create interesting and unique concepts for these randomised pokemon, ypu then went on to animate them! These extra steps just add so much to the process and I find it incredibly impressive.

So I kind of zoned out during the explanation of Plaguepouri so if they said this already and it was totally intentional my bad. BUT!!! It looks like the two little red dots are eyes and it’s in a cloak, like it’s wearing a pink bird corpse. Especially with the way it like sways uncannily in the Pokédex entry tweening. Literally such a cool design!!!!

I really hate how good you are at this. Like, this is criminally good. Designs, the pokedex entries, the shiny forms, they look so natural and not overdone and the colors don't bleed out my eyes. I wish they had you as a creative director at Gamefreak cause these are very cool, like even if the team came up with a design I feel like you could give it a bit of sprucing up.

I absolutely understand the feeling of maintaining high quality but wanting to keep consistent content for your channel, I have been motivated by your channel and personally for me I consider you the number 1 youtuber, I remember first finding you during the old warrior cats videos and seeing your sketches from Instagram evolving to what you do today, I turn to for everything, entertainment, smiles, feels and the absolutely fantastic art/animations , general tips and tricks and your voice in videos and your crew and friends boosts my mood to keep me drawing when I have silent days. Keep up the amazing work your videos are always worth the wait.

I actually SUPER appreciate that you didn't just go with the first randomly generated pokemon and instead went with something that caught your attention. I have a major problem with art burnout, and am currently trying to focus more on having fun than meeting any arbitrary requirements or expectations that aren't absolutely necessary. It's good to see other people putting priority on making art that's fun for them too

OMG these are all so COOL!! I wasn't expecting to see the return of the luxray line, so it was really cool to see this design come to life! I'll admit he's my favorite. The eye markings make me think of eldritch angel designs, and I am here for it! (Also I think it's cool you're taking your time on the pikachu vid, and that it's becoming more of a passion project. I am perfectly happy with these smaller videos. As long as everyone working on the vid is happy with the end result, It'll be worth the wait)

AAAAAA Your art is so pretty and eye catching! I love the designs of the Pokemon you came up with, I feel like my favorite was probably Corimara because I had one of those little ballerina toys as a kid. I love how the Pokédex screen is tweened/animated! You can really tell how much effort you and your team put into these videos (even if you call this a small video).
