The sundering soulmonger seems like final boss/ secret boss material, having something that messes with the cycle of life and death as the ultimate challenge is cool

Definitely secret boss. It’s so mysterious and unsettling, like the Waterwraith, but is not needed to « beat » the game. Only to « complete »

Having Pikmin as enemies is really cool; I think a video creating new Pikmin types would be nice: Hypnosis Pikmin: floats in the air, has no legs. Eyes are purple spirals. When attacking a creature, a bar (like that of Ice Pikmin) Fills up and makes the creature attack its own kind. If there are no others of the same kind, the creature walks in circles. Wind Pikmin: Very fragile, assist other Pikmin when moving items by pushing them with the wind. When under attack, these Pikmin protect everyone by sending gusts to hold back enemies. Sand Pikmin: Can camouflage, so enemies can't see them. Are good at digging, and when charged at a creature, a tornado is created, with its size and strength dependent on how many Sand Pikmin are in the attack. The sandstorm picks the creature up and throws it back onto the floor, dealing damage. Poison Pikmin: Best friends of White Pikmin, they can deal poison damage to enemies. Also resistant to poison, they can poison any creature that touches them. They emit a poisonous cloud during attacks.

@@legoshorts7818 Well I had an idea of a new Pikmin type for quite a while now, and I'd like to share it with you, I present to you : The Shooter Pikmins : As their name implies it, these pikmin's gimmick is that they can shoot lasers at the enemies just like the Man At Leg and the Gatling Groink do. And if you wonder, yes, just like those previously mentioned enemies, they are mechanised but friendly to Olimar. The reason why they are mechanised is probably because an onion assimilated a mechanical enemy and since, these pikmin types exist. I hope Parascom takes this idea for the next video.

@@legoshorts7818 here’s a pikmin concept I came up with: (Haven’t decided on a name so I’m using a placeholder name) Green pikmin: (Again, a place holder name) these pikmin have dark green bodies with orange eyes, they can walk through a pink ooze that other pikmin would get stuck in (like removed from the squad stuck), but to make sure you get them back, the green Pikmin can drag other pikmin out the ooze in the captains direction.

Here's an enemy idea. Trickmin worm: A mimic type enemy (like Creeping Crysanthemum, or Pellet Posers) that dwells underground in caves where you'd normally find small rings of extra pikmin. At first glance it resembles an unplucked Pikmin flower, but when a captain tries to pluck it, it reveals its long, wormlike body, like a garden eel with a flower snout, before spewing elemental damage around itself, trying to kill any pikmin around it. Red trickmin spew fire, yellow ones shoot electricity, blues shoot water, etc. For this reason they are best defeated by pikmin that match their color. They spawn near those groups of 5 pikmin flowers you sometimes find in the caves, so if you see a group of 6 flowers, you'll know that one of them is an imposter.
@carelessanonymous6570
@carelessanonymous6570 10 месяцев назад
This is a really clever idea. But sometimes there are groups of more than 5. (I recall groups of 7 during one challenge) So would it just be 1 more than however many there should be?
@legoshorts7818
@legoshorts7818 10 месяцев назад
I have one: The ______ Leech: Looks like a Bulborb Larva but with a mouth looking like an Arctic Cannon. It mainly attacks Oatchi (it feels weird that no enemies mainly attack the player or Oatchi), and latches onto it's side. Use the Pikmin to kill it, before it drains all of Oatchi's health. If the Leech is not killed fast enough, his health will be re-gained using Oatchi's health. Variants include: Luminescent Leech (Glows, only in caves) Giant Leech (Adult version, drains health faster Burrowing Leech (Makes holes underground and traps the whole squad, eats Pikmin as well, but is smaller) Flying Leech (Latches onto Oatchi and can only be attacked by Flying Pikmin, due to being in flight when latched on)

for an enemy idea, i've always liked the idea of a 3 legged arachnorb that mimics an onion specifically to trick pikmin call it the luring long legs i imagine it starts off immobile on the ground, similar to a man at legs, however, once it's unearthed and enough pikmin are attempting to lift it, the "onion" will flip upside down and it'll extend it's legs out initially it stomps around like any other member of it's family, though a bit faster to make up for the missing 4th leg after a while of stomping it'll slam down 2 legs at once and send the 3rd flying over itself until it's flipped, leaving the fake onion upright while the "onion" is right side up the luring long legs will start using attacks like fake pikmin seeds that damage targets they land on, or an onion tractor beam that pulls your captain and pikmin up into the air, acting similarly to a stronger jellyfloat vacuum maybe it could even give little false signals to the pikmin such as telling them to try and climb inside, causing them to try reaching it's legs until they're either stomped or whistled back

A fake Onion enemy is genius! I remember one enemy in a Pikmin mod being remodeled to look like an Onion. It would've been great for Pikmin 4, considering there exists Flarlic and multiple Onions for some colors.

On the topic of enemies that fight with treasures, I had a idea for one. The Knight Dweevil. This special Dweevil could be found in caves, carrying two treasures from the Sword and Shield series. They would often carry a plastic sword, and one of the badges as a shield. They would slash the sword like the crab boss from Pikmin 2 slashes it’s claw, and block Pikmin throws with the “shield” until enough force hits it. Whether or not it’s deadly is optional, but it can be found on the ground or jumping down from the ceiling in caves. If Pikmin get on it, it would wildly shake them off. There’s also a boss variant, called the Ruby Dweevil, but that’s a story for another website.

I have an enemy idea: “The Synthetic Spectralid” its a spectralid-like species that doesn’t target pikmin whatsoever, instead it floats around playing a jammy beat that distract pikmin and takes them out of your squad! (Similar to the groovy long legs) and I know this enemy sound obnoxious, but it will drop a spicy spray after death. (Also the pattern on their wings are like on a dance floor!)

Absolutely incredible work, I can’t state how much I loved this, especially the Billiard Bug! While I’m here I’d like to suggest a enemy idea I came up with while watching: The Burnt Bread Bug - A bread bug, following the bread aspect, that has been left in a hot cavern for to long and has been quite charred. - Behaving like normal bread bugs they try and steal your items, however to add to the difficulty, their path will leave a burning trail that requires the use of Red Pikmin to put out. - An extra idea as well to add to it, is when you try to squish it, perhaps with a Purple Pikmin, it will then retaliate by launching a volcanic orb of its back towards the captain. If you see this feel free to do whatever you want with this idea, but more importantly know how well of a job your doing!
@iantaakalla8180
@iantaakalla8180 10 месяцев назад
I also have a variant on the bread bug. The Preserved Bread Bug would be the Ice variant. Unlike normal bread bugs, it takes Pikmin in its mouth, but does not eat them. It takes 10 Pikmin, then spits them out somewhere. It repeats until you have no Pikmin. Then it does the same to the captain but the unique freezing method would do damage to the captain until they faint. However, if the captain is within the preserved Pikmin, the captain can whistle Pikmin out of the frozen status to prevent a soft lock. Those Pikmin are frozen in a unique way such that whistling will not work until the Preserved Bread Bug is dead, or unless the captain is frozen as well.

Had an idea for a boss or sub-boss variant to the Skitter Leaf: the Skitter Wreath! A larger mutation of the standard Leaves, it acts as a living nest for its smaller relatives to protect them when their disguises fail, as they have been lately due to increased success for one of their predators: Pikmin. Also had the Coralbelching Meerslug, an aquatic cousin to the Sandbelching variety capable of swimming that bites off and swallows chunks of coral to then gain nourishment from and spit out as heavy projectiles.

Here's an idea for a boss. The Ink Wraith, this is a tiny black Wraiths. Normally, they are nothing but enemies when they are fought in their caves, but they have a unique ability to control objects, specifically two treasures, when you enter the floors of the bosses, an Ink Wraith will turn into a small water droplet and fall into the treasures, and possess it. The treasures are that of a 3d printed figure of a bug (possibly a centipede or a Trilobite, which fight will be like the Armored mawdad, with an attack similar to the segmented crawbster where it will roll into a ball and it will slam into a wall, revealing the weakspot of a black lump on the underside), and the other (the final boss of the cave) is a 3d printed skeleton of a dinosaur (a T-rex or Spinosaurus) where it jump to crush the Pikmin, use the jaws to bite them, knock them away with a tail, and charge into them (which can cause it to trip or slam into a wall, which let's you attack it weakpoint inside the ribcage). When the bosses are defending, they leave behind the treasures.

Amazing video and Art! This is top tier stuff in my opinion. As for the viewer recommendation of art, I'm not so good at drawing myself, and I would love to see one of my childhood ideas become a reality. The Platter Splatter is a very colorful, vibrant, squidlike enemy that would lay flat on a wall. (As in a cave with spray painted walls to blend in). When you walk by this wall, it's two eyes appear on the wall before jumping out at your pikmin a few seconds later. It would use one of its long tentacles to stick as many pikmin on it, and then drop them one by one into its mouth. Once again, I applaud you for your amazing talent!

Love to see the second video in this series! Love all the new ideas. I can't think of anything super unique at the moment, but I'd love to see more "infant" versions of enemies like the Downy Snagret. They're not bombastic enemies testing design waters, but I love further building on Pikmin's ecosystem and giving a sense of life and making the world feel lived in. A great way to explore this is to do "levelled down" versions of the Pikmin 3 bosses. Like a baby/juvenile Armored Mawdad or Sandbelching Meerslug; being smaller and more fit for regular level design before they reach their monstrous adult forms but still bringing their unique boss mechanics in a smaller scale. For example, a juvenile Armored Mawdad could have a thinner layer of crystal armor that's still enough to block normal Pikmin attacks, but Rocks can shatter it instantly while Purples can deal half damage, since it's shell is not as strong yet. a baby Sandbelching Meerslug could act Shearwigs at first, but if you let it burrow back underground, it creates a small single hole trap to eat even more Pikmin.

I love the soulmonger just a peak into the world of pikmin, showing that beneath all the wildlife, treasures, and enemies just being predators wanting to survive, there is at least some form of pure, true evil, something that has no instincts to eat or survive, something that only has malicious intent, we have Sean hints of this with the water wraith, but now, you’re looking at evil, right in its face, or rather, its mask
@axisred2301

The Sundering Soulmonger is awesome! I love how it plays like a bigger boss fight, like in Pikmin 3. The bosses in 2 and 4 were fun, but they didn't feel nearly as grandiose. For a Pikmin enemy idea, I wanted the player to interact with it through more than just fighting. Why shouldn't there be other (somewhat) peaceful intelligent species? I present: the Thunderclasp Raintrekker! The TR is a creature so gargantuan, only its clawed, rain-colored limbs are visible during normal gameplay. Zooming out reveals it to have a wooly, raincloud-like body and a head that glows softly like the sun. The TR slowly wanders around an area, taking items, treasures, and enemies it sees and trapping them in its wool. Any Pikmin holding onto something it takes will fall off. The player can fight the TR for its current items plus some extra loot, but it's extremely aggressive in battle and will even send the live enemies it carries to attack. It'll drop its items and more loot and run at half HP, and upon defeat, it'll drop items again and leave for the day (so it can't be farmed). The TR can also trade! Purposefully leaving items for it to take will make a number display appear in front of it, showing the total value of items gifted to it and a target total value to reach. Reaching the target will make it offer back something very valuable, like treasure. Otherwise, it'll leave behind other items worth about as much as it received. To incentivize trading with the TR, some treasures must be earned this way.

I love how the billiard bug is just a dung beetle. It’s just so brilliant. Reminds me of Rellor just existing in pokemon S/V and just being a dung beetle. Also, here’s my idea: You can choose the name if you want. This creature takes the form of a ball treasure, and the treasure radar *will* do its thing. However, it has five holes all around the bottom. It’s idle is either waiting for you to sacrifice a pikmin to try and grab it, or just by leaving it alone and watching it from a distance. Upon trying to lift it up (or by leaving it alone), five spider-like limbs will exit the holes. And two eyes open on the fake treasure. It will scurry around if you were leaving it alone, but if you weren’t, it will try it’s best to take out your squad. Whats that i hear you asking? How will it take out your squad? Well. This creature has a spike around the top and bottom of each leg. It will pop out these spikes to try impaling pikmin. If it is unable to stab any pikmin for a while, it’ll resort to breaking a hole into the top, front and back. This gives vulnerable spots, at a price. You know how i said there were spikes? They can come from the sides too. It will give off a warning about it by making a hissing noise. Best to call in any pikmin on it when you hear that hissing sound. After the hissing ends, the spikes will THRUST out, stabbing any unfortunate pikmin that werent called in. It could also try to crush, by retracting it’s limbs above any pikmin (perhaps captains too if there arent any pikmin) and dropping. It’s a nice idea in my opinion..

I REALLY like the idea of the Sundering Soulmonger using the creatures you've killed in previous levels of the cave against you as a 1:1 formula. If you're like me and clear out caves of all dangers before moving on, the boss fight could be much more hectic than if you breeze through it. Thinking about how you as the player could affect the difficulty of the fight would add another layer of depth to this enemy and the cave itself. You might have to strategize what's worth killing to make the floor you're on safe, knowing that it will be added to the horde of the dead later. Like, Bulborbs, Sheargrubs and Puffy Blowhogs aren't too hard to deal with on their own, but they would become much more dangerous if put together in the boss's arena. It'd really give players reason to play differently, perhaps even to the point where collecting treasure on different floors becomes more of a puzzle. On the other hand, maybe you want an overwhelming challenge.

Here's my recommendation: The culinary creature. It would only appear in kitchen themed caves. It resembles a spider creature inside a chef's hat (ratatouille style) it approaches your squad, trying to capture as many pikmin with its hat. He will drag along the pikmin he has capture to his base like a breadbug. His base is a pan in a stove. If you don't rescue the pikmin faster enough, the enemy will stand on the pan and turn the stove on, burning all the pikmin. The only way to defeat him is by using winged pikmin to lift the hat and reveal its body, which you can then beat.

An enemy concept: The Moldy Breadbug/Giant Breadbug would be an offshoot of the common breadbug that was infected with the same fungus that plagues quite a few enemies in pikmin 4, Whilst also adding a bit of variety to breadbugs. Not to mention more challenge, due to only being able to handle them with whites. Another neat thing, the Giant Moldy Breadbug could have more difficulty since the mold on growing on its back would have pikmin fall off it, making it all the more challenging. (Might be funny to add the same revive mechanic the toxstool has with the giant moldy breadbug.)

Could be neat to have a cave with this enemy, similar to the water wraith, but maybe with another type of pikmin only to enter, like coating the entrance in flames for example.

The Sundering Soulmonger is genuinely such a cool idea for a boss and for a cave concept With this thing summoning enemies you defeated in the cave suddenly the player has to decide which enemies to defeat and which ones to leave alone, the easier they make the floors for themselves the harder the boss itself will become, and even if the game forces you to defeat most if not all of the enemies on a floor (via locking the next floor behind those numbered gates from Pikmin 4) then the player would still have to be super careful about Pikmin casualties. I absolutely adore this boss idea and the design would definitely scare some people (kids especially) when playing for the first time You are doing a great job with these Pikmin enemy concepts and the 2 bosses you’ve made have definitely been my favorites so far, especially the Sundering Soulmonger

I love this series so much! It's cool to see these creature ideas come to life! Also this got me thinking of my own idea for a custom enemy so I wanna share it now! So you know the iconic Fiery Bulblax of course, so I thought to make a water version as well akin to Fiery and Watery Blowhogs! It'd look a lot less melted than it's Fiery cousin and have water all over it's back! Here's the creative parts tho, the Watery Bulblax would have a unique shake effect where when it tries to shake Pikmin off it'll shake all it's water off of it's back in a manner akin to that of the Monster Pump attack from the Titan Dweevil! This would allow normal Pikmin to attack it for a short time before it regains it's watery hide but still be best fought with Blues due to the water flying everywhere when it shakes. That's not all tho as if you happen to throw 20 Ice Pikmin you could freeze it's water on it's back making it move slower and having normal Pikmin be able to attack it until it shakes thus dislodging the Ice Pikmin and eventually having the ice melt back into water

I absolutely love your concepts for bosses and enemies. Toxerhop was a great concept and i’m glad to see how you expanded on it. I have an idea tho Mossy Mongrel Mossy Mongrel would probably appear in caves with moss hanging from the ceiling. It would initially appear as a ball of moss, but if oatchi and the pikmin get too close, it will reach out its green moss-like tentacles. Its a pretty simple concept imo so maybe there would be other things to it, but thats all i could think of. Edit: its fairly similar to creeping crysanthemum so i guess it could be in the same family

While there was no funny cat, it's still really cool to see you design and paint these hypothetical enemies. Your art is absolutely solid, my only criticisms are that the Billiard Bug could use some additional ambient lighting from the billiard ball it rolls around, as well as some strange color changes while designing the Toxorhop. Don't get me wrong, I do like the final color scheme a great deal, as it still communicates the poison dart frog idea, I just think that it would work a bit better if instead of going from a light blue to green, to dial it towards the sickly cyan color that poison has in Pikmin 4. These are just my thoughts, of course, and I still rank these at least at 8.5/10. As for enemies I would like to see designed, I am curious what your take on an original Wraith style enemy would be. I was slightly disappointed that the "Frozen Inferno" cave, despite seeming like a counterpart to the Submerged/Engulfed Castle, did not feature a similar mechanic and boss. Some things that I would personally go for when designing an elemental Wraith would be boiled down to a few crucial details: they are synonymous with the element that the Pikmin you enter the cave with, yet despite this, they attack via a hazard that said type of Pikmin is vulnerable to. Additionally, there would be one type of Pikmin that is the only way to properly attack, only at the end of the cave, and in a manner that would make some thematic sense.

I thought oatchi's rush made the game very easy, so I came up with a new enemy: the shielding aristocrab. It has one large claw it protects itself with, almost like a knight in armour and a shield, so you can't charge oatchi or your pikmin at it. To defeat it you have to throw your pikmin on it from above (yellow pikmin will help, but aren't necessary). The shielding aristocrab attacks by slamming its 'shield' downwards on any pikmin standing nearby, crushing them. But if you can't really take advantage of this, because the aristocrab is very quick to pull up its shield again.

1. Love the Flux Construct battle music in the background. 2. My idea for a pikmin enemy is called... the slumflitter. It's a nighttime/cave enemy that has a nest where slumflitter larve come out and attack pikmin. The slumflitter larve are covered in a watery shell, so blue pikmin are required to beak them. The mama slumflitter comes out when you or a pikmin comes to close to her nest. She will instantly start attacking after she is out of the nest. She has a swooping attack, and a water shot attack, and maybe the Mama slumflitter will make her nests in tunnels or corridors, blocking treasures.

Loved this video! I had an idea for an enemy, the Luring Lumifang, based off an anglerfish, this creature lives in caves. It resides near bodies of water. Once Pikmin are near its glowing orb inflicts the Disco effect near it, it then walks away leading the controlled Pikmin into the water. It patrols its area like a Bulbear, and it must be attacked on its large black eyes. All other attacks slip off it’s wet scaly skin.

I really enjoy your designs so much !!!!! Ive been having pikmin enemy ideas, but here's one ! I don't have a name for them yet, but they're basically a sort of sea creature, meaning blue pikmin are priority for attacking ! They're kinda like cheep cheeps ! They jump in the air when the captain's pikmin squad is nearby, before slamming downward back into the water and splashing it at the pikmin, causing them to scatter and potentially fall into the body of water and drown After collapsing back into the water, it'll be stunned, giving a window to throw blue pikmin at it !

hey so I watched the first video but didn't comment but I have to say, all these designs are great and the art that comes with them are unecessary but amazing. the only complaint I had with the previous designs is that some of them didn't feel "pikminy" but these ones all clear this margin the threaded murkgrab is the perfect example of this. the beady eyes, the tongue, and the mechanic sounds frightening yet fun at the same time i love the billard bug, once again very pikmin, the eyes and mouth piece, and the concept of not only the bug using the treasure but using the ball as a weapon to the nearby environment is great sparkwisp is the only new concept for a new honeywisp that works. brining back the lightbulb mechanics and expanding on them with a unique floating enemy. you also mentioned how the "glass" is more of a shell which I like because it feels more natural than what it is based on toxerhop is amazing first, I love the fact you picked out an enemy design from the comments to do, and second, you made it really well. the OG Wollyhop base and the neon colours while still keeping with the poison colouring is commendable. really made the concept flourish into life and finally the sundering soulmonger, you managed to make a pikmin boss creepy and unsettling in the way pikmin 1 and 2 did it perfectly its amazing. the mechanic also has a lot you can do with it, like playing without killing enemies to make the fight easy (though there should be enemy doors that you need to kill some enemies to get down there) the rebithed shadow enemies also look great, love how they are just cloudy and misty, and the bug itself feels pikmny again, but the mask works so well for this more nightmarish design and the idea of veins on the inside is prefecto messed-up I love it oh and I can't not suggest something for ya, cuz I've had this idea for a while, how about a Moldy Breadbug? A breadbug that has formed a symbiosis with the Toxstool with some of its fungi growing on itself, which brings corpses back to its nests to turn them into moldy variants if possible (the nest would be like the old breadbug nests, any pikmin brought there die, and would be a nice way to bring the old mechanic) so for example a dwarf bulborb gets brought back a moldy dwarf bulborb comes out, anything that can't be infected (enemy or treasure) pops back out when defeated. a final note, like the moldy dwarf bulborb, it emits poison gas clouds when pikmin are thrown directly on top of it, so tug of war is actually recommended for fighting it (also moldy bread haha) but overall amazing series so far, if I could I would but a t-shirt (i don't know which bug I would buy though)

I got an idea: the Fizzled Popper! Its a long, spindly, 4-legged spider with hands on the ends of its legs. Its covered in long hairs and has very little health. But here's the big thing; its hiding its venerable head inside an old soda can, with holes in the sides for its legs. Pikmin can climb up it's legs and try to break the can, but it takes a lot of hits. It'll try to crush pikmin by slamming down on top of them. After a bit it'll try to shake off any pikmin on it, but what happens when you shake a soda can? KABOOM! The can bursts open and the Fizzled Popper is left armorless and venerable.

@paracosmparty Hey, have always been a big pikmin fan and love the stuff you do, keep up the great work❤❤ I also have an idea for a pikmin enemy which I call the Croolix, a Goolix variant whose body is made of a flammable substance similar to crude oil. In its idle phase it would roll around in its arena, leaving a trail of oil behind it. The first phase would begin when it notices you or your pikmin, in this state it will slowly follow you and perform 1 of 4 attacks until you attack it. These attacks would be: •Flattening out its body to absorb any surrounding pikmin •Shooting out a small blob of oil from its body at nearby pikmin, then the blob would roll back to the Croolix •Extending a large tendril from its body, then swooping it sideways to catch pikmin and reabsorbing the tendril back into its body •Charging towards your squad quickly until it hits a wall To attack it you would need to use a fire starter to ignite it, this would and also ignite the trail of oil behind it, this oil would also keep burning for a very long time (15-20 seconds maybe) This would begin the second phase in which the ignited Croolix would chase down your captain as it gradually shrinks, leaving a trail of fire behind it while it does so. Afterwards, this would begin the third phase where it has burnt through all of its oil, leaving its red hot nucleus which only red pikmin could attack. After a short amount of time it would grow back the oil and the cycle would restart, continuing until the Croolix is defeated. Thanks again for all the work you put into these videos, cant wait to see more of these in the future❤

A random house item upside-down gave me an idea I’d love to see you make. I call it the Sheilian Slopper. It has a vase-like shell that can’t be broken at all. It’s like an octopus since it has tentacles. By sending Pikmin to rip of the tentacles, you can deal damage to it. Once all 8 tentacles have been ripped of, then the Sheilian Slopper will die. It attacks by taking it’s mouth out of the vase hole and sucking Pikmin up. I would love to see you make this, but if you don’t see this or want to do it, I understand :)

These are so cool, its great to see that your making this into a small series. I love seeing the process that goes into the art. I've always had an idea for a pikmin enemy in the form of a long ranged threat. In particular, a small aracnorb that is carrying around a lense (like a monocole or a magnifying glass). Simalar to how stationary Groinks were used back in two, they would sit on top of buckets and other high vantagepoints and focus the lense down onto the ground, attemping to set pikmin alight.

Here's an idea for you! The soaking long legs. Not a boss, but a rare, difficult enemy. It's body consists of a showerhead, with a large eyeball on top, and four legs that are like those things on detachable showerheads, and feet that look like shower plugs. On the bottom side of it's head, there's the actual shower part, which sometimes spits out a bunch of water. Another thing is that there is a large eye atop its head, which is the point you need to attack. Sometimes, it's legs with retract into it, before it flips itself over, becoming more vulnerable, but also being able to attack in a much, much larger radius. Idea 2: Trickmin. It seems like a simple pikmin sprout in a cave, but the only difference is the four flower petals rather than one. Getting close, it's petals sharpen, and it reveals it's eye in the center of the petals. The only way to attack it is dangerous, as you need to hit the eye, but it will clamp down on pikmin nearby, or on it's eye, killing them instantly.

Okay! Gonna throw my hat in the ring! A scornet inspired swarm enemy that each have shield-like reflective planes on their heads or faces. When grouped in formation, they circle up to resemble a Disco Ball, unable to be damaged. As you fell more and more of the little flies, their discoball formation has more pieces missing :D I feel like their attack patterns could create various light show patterns, maybe confusing the pikmin? Winged pikmin would be the saviors of the fight, of course, but maybe Red or Purple pikmin could also come in handy; an attack with concentrated light between two or three of the flies that sets a pikmin on fire? Perhaps their formations could be interrupted prematurely with a big enough disruption? Some ideas for thought! I don't have any name ideas, but it could be very fun! Loved the video! Great work as always 🎉

I love your content; it has inspired me to start making my own custom Pikmin thing. Not just enemies, or new types of Pikmin, but entire new levels instead. It something people don't think about but is important to the games. If you want to, you can create your own level ideas. Here a suggestion thought. At the first landing site in Serene Shores, there a little alcove that goes into the grass, it would be perfect to do a whole level around the large foliage covering the screen. Also, on the level map, there a river that separates the main levels, and the post-game levels, in that river is a little island. The theme that's in the Serene Shore's alcove and the level map's island in the river, would make a GREAT video topic, and your artistic skill can make beautiful level pictures and level maps. It's a unique video topic and you can also extend this to caves as well, you can make a video on "The foreboding fortress" idea you made in this video as well. Well, hope you see this comment as your videos have inspire me to try a new skill I didn't tackle very often.

This pikmin enemy came to me in a dream, thought I'd submit it as an idea: The Creeping Clampcruncher (say that 3 times fast) Its appearance is a lobster/crawfish type of creature (it was purple in my dream, but you can color it anyway that you like ^_^) with a large block of stone and moss on top of its back, and perhaps a special flower. I didn't get any ideas of how it would attack from the dream itself, but going off of its design, I'd assume it would burrow underground like the creeping chrysanthemum and pop out when you approach it.

Loving these videos! You’ve absolutely earned a sub! Now here’s my idea: The Torching Blowhog! It’s like the Puffy/Icy Blowhog, but it’s a deep fiery red-and-orange combo with a royal blue coloring on its snout. Instead of the typical attack style where it just blows a gust of wind in your direction, it attacks by pointing itself straight down and pursuing your Pikmin while continually breathing out a blue flame like a blowtorch. Plus, the lore of it keeping itself in the air using pretty much the same method as a hot air balloon is an idea that’s quite amusing to me.

For the Murkcrab, I’d have the arms and eyes be targets for pikmin to latch onto, where the arms would be easier for pikmin to grab onto, but the Murkcrab would be able to eat them once it returns to its web; however, pikmin which latch onto its eyes would not be vulnerable, and the Murkcrab would have to shake them off, also dropping any pikmin its holding onto. I’d also have its pupils shrink once its thread is snapped, showing either anger or fear, depending on your interpretation.

A cool secret for the Sundering Soulmonger could be that if you manage to complete the cave without killing enemies or losing pikmin up to the boss, it would just keel over half dead from lack of souls. This might also restrict its ability to use enemies during its summoning phases.

Commenting before watching; so glad your last video exploded, and so excited for more pikmin content! Usually Pikmin content is a bit samey but the work you're putting into it reminds me (fondly) of Scruffy! Just so much effort and charm Reviews!: Threaded Murkgrab - I love some of these enemies since I can so easily imagine them in game, the mechanics you work out are basically exactly what I'd expect from the critters. However, I like to think of myself as a pro-pikmin player, and I love difficulty, but I do think that being forgiving is just fine. You should see how non-pikmin pros play Pikmin 4, that's who these games are designed for primarily. I think that them shaking off any pikmin weighing them down if its not fast enough, or the pikmin weighing them down just falling and going idle after it ascends would be more than fine. It'd still be tricky, but you wouldn't lose so many pikmin based on one missed throw. Billiard Bug - An absolutely perfect concept, I can totally imagine myself having lots of fun bashing the ball around. I can imagine the themed dungeon really well, as well as later challenges in the game using it again as a way to kill a bunch of enemies at once, lots of ways to play with that mechanic. Sparkwisp - I dunno if an infinitely respawning enemy would feel RIGHT in a Pikmin game, nor do I think this is the best way to bring back the cord mechanic. But as a monster, maybe for Yellows and Rocks to have to deal with (you probably have to break the glass) I think it's a fun design! Toxerhop - Just a fun play on the Wollyhop, and a good way to make them more deadly after their repeated nerfs since Pikmin 2. I enjoy monsters that make white pikmin a bit more useful in combat too. Sundering Soulmonger - Weirdly, my only problem with this boss is that it might be TOO epic. At the very least, I can't imagine it in something like Pikmin 4. It's just really creepy and weird in a way that Pikmin Enemies usually aren't? I think it's REALLY good, like, on its own, and would be super fun to fight. I dunno! It's a really cool enemy, but it doesn't feel very pikmin-y, I guess? I love the art you did for it though.

I had an idea for an enemy: the Raging Bullblax (misspelling Bulblax is intended) It would be found in a cave themed around only being able to use oatchi. It’s a boss with an arena that is a high round table, and the floor underneath it had elevators going back up to the table. You essentially fight it in a sumo match. It’s main attack would be to charge for the captain like a bull, and stop itself right before falling off the table. It only goes for the captain, so you would have to have the captain and oatchi in different places, and rush it from the side while it is distracted running for the captain. Successfully doing this would stop the Bullblax in the middle of his running, but if he hits the captain, the captain will be sent flying off the table, having to walk back up to the table while the boss can regenerate health. The boss would have other attacks too but I can’t think of them right now. If the boss is at 0 health, then he will rush one last time and fall of the table if he misses. Then the player can jump back down to the floor, collect the treasure and corpse (since the entrance and exit would be on the floor) and exit the cave.

These enemy ideas are amazing. A random enemy idea I have: An arachnorb that has a Nintendo 64 or Gamecube as a shell! While it would have the normal stomping and shaking that most arachnorbs, it also has a pixel or polygon fountain attack, raining small pixels or polygons (depending on if it's an N64 or Gamecube) that are each big enough to crush one or two Pikmin. While that's it for the N64 version, the Gamecube version's polygons could form into low-res Dwarf Bulborbs. I'm not sure of a good name for this enemy tho. I just like the idea of an enemy being a reference.

Here's an enemy I designed when I was 6 after watching my brother play Pikmin 2 for the first time: The Treasureblax (name can be changed, possibly Glintblax) A bulblax species that collects treasures and glues them to its back. It has a pocket watch as an eye and a heavy underbite. It attacks when any treasures are collected in the area, and sleeps buried with its stopwatch eye poking from the ground. The fight is similar to the Emperor bulblax. It spits globs of sticky saliva on the floor to capture Pikmin, which it then licks up at its leisure. You have to take the treasures off of its back while it's distracted to reveal its soft greyish back. Love what you do! Concept art and creature design are my forte, and I always love finding others with wacky ideas like mine. Keep it up bruvvah.

The Threaded Murkgrab is a pretty cool idea, The Billiard Bug has a mortal flaw of "What happens when the treasure has been collected" thus I deem it deserves a fun rock, the Sparkwisp is a friend and I love the idea of them mating by connecting their trails hence why it has it just dangling there, remember colourful means you shouldn't touch or eat it :3, I think for the Sundering Soulmonger the previous floors should have required kills otherwise there'd be no meat to the boss fight, I love the boss idea though.

First of all- I want to say that the concepts and drawings you make are just amazing! I really love those ideas and wanted to say it^^ And I also wanted to present you an enemy idea…it might be not as good others but I hope you like it! The Thieving Tunnelbug: Design: It is a bug similar to a Psychoplex with a rounder shaped body and eight fuzzy legs. Instead of the shell it has 2 bug-like wings and it has a mouth with sharp teeths. Its eyes are like the ones The Threaded Murkgrab has yet eyes are replaced with dragonfly-like eyes. Its colour patterns are depended on wich place it lives for example if it is in a snowy region it has colours associated with ice and snow. Function/Concept: It lives in tunnels most of the time. Its eyes are sticking out of its tunnels to warn the player. If a pikmin, Oatchi or the player run in the near of the tunnel it will speed out of it and catches its prey (Max: 4). Then it drags its prey into its tunnel so it can eat its prey or if its Oatchi or the player it just deals damage. While it drags its prey you are able to throw Pikmin on its back wich makes it return in its tunnel losing its prey. After six times done it will fly away. And it can also drop an random item. (Variants: Iced Tunnelbug, Poisoned Tunnelbug, Firey Tunnelbug, Electric Tunnelbug, Water Tunnelbug, Giant Tunnelbug [Max-Prey: 8] {I just did these variants for completion I think that was unnecessary xd} I hope you will see this comment and I hope you will like this idea^^ Sorry if its a little long I just wanted to detail it😅 But anyways- Byyyeee!

Love all these creatures. Favorite is the sundering soul monger. Such a brilliant concept for a boss battle. Puppet ghost of fallen enemies and Pikmin sound incredible to face.

Your enemy designs remind me of Sonic Mania, where a lot of inspirations from classic sonic were remixed in really creative ways. I like these a lot!

My monster idea is the drone-like Darter! It slowly flies around in a pre-set path, usually a square. It shines a red square-shaped spotlight below itself, and fires Man-At-Legs-style lasers at anything the spotlight illuminates. As more Pikmin are thrown onto it, it starts to lower, and its spotlight shrinks, allowing the heavier Pikmin to be thrown onto it. After it shakes them off, it will return to its original height, and the spotlight will expand again. I was imagining it resembling the drone platforms in Hero's Hideaway, but significantly smaller. I feel like it would have something to do with the Man At Legs as well, considering the lasers and robotic nature. Also, here's my thoughts on this episode... - That first one reminds me of Sackboy: A Big Adventure, with the red highlights and big eyes - I think it's a bit generous to have _all_ of the billiards carrying treasure, so some of them could carry around boulders - The Sparkwisp is a hazard that is impossible to take down, unlike literally every other active hazard in the game - I like that the Toxerhop looks like the white Wollyhop instead of the yellow one - Everything about the Sundering Soul Monger is great except for its actual battle (no one likes boss caps or enemy rushes)

My suggestion for a boss/miniboss is the unseen mask. When you find it, it'll warble around you until you hit it. Then, it'll send you to 1/4 dangerous dimensions, each one focusing on a different hazard. It'll try and swoop 5 pikmin. You attack it from the mask, and when you defeat it, it drops a ship part and back where you started. (yes, it's inspired by the Sundering Soulmonger)

I love these ideas! They're really unique, and honestly I may steal some of them for my Pikmin fangame that's never actually gonna get made. I have some interesting enemy ideas I've had myself but I can't find the papers I wrote them on :( Edit: I actually remembered one of my ideas (I still haven't found the papers but this one popped into my brain)! The Wallowing Blubbard is a fat, sluglike creature with a rotund body covered in flaps of skin, similar in appearance to the face of an Emperor Bulblax, only without the nostrils and with much droopier lips and eyestalks. It also has a strange antenna in between its eyestalks, directly on top of its head. It lives in large puddles of semisolid mud, which it can duck under and move around while submerged, leaving only its eyestalks and antenna visible until it pops back up. This mud is thick enough for captains, Pikmin, and Oatchi to walk on, but if they stay in one place for too long they start to sink, trapping them under it until they suffocate, killing Pikmin and spitting out captains and Oatchi. This isn't the Blubbard's main form of attack, though. All it does to attack is pops its head up slightly and opens its mouth, causing mud to be sucked down its gullet, taking anything on top of it with it into the beast's belly. Immediately after performing this attack, the Blubbard will duck back under the mud. There are two main ways to make the Blubbard vulnerable to attack- either you can feed it a bomb rock, or you can use Winged Pikmin to pull on its antenna and yank it out of the mud. Both of these leave it vulnerable on the surface of the mud for a few seconds, allowing it to be attacked. Anything it swallowed (besides Pikmin) is released when it dies. Edit 2: I thought about it, and I think a better name than Wallowing Blubbard would probably be Wallowing Sluggard
