these fakemon desgins are awesome. If i may add some feedback and suggestions, Aluchagator i think can work as either bipedal or quardepedal maybe a design where it can be both would work. it'd be quadrepedal mostly but fights on two legs like bears, give it longer legs like an exinct land croc. I personally think your first draft on Genomonster made more sense overall but maybe it could be bipedal too? the healer vibe is a very cool one to maybe lean more into but i have no knowledge on any native american culture so i don't have suggestions on how this could be worked into it's design. unrelated but i just thought up this ability for it where if it hits allies with fire moves they heal the ally instead of damage them it might be an ability already, i'm not oo sure but yeah also the shiny Orkiwa is amazing.

These very cool designs but I have some notes for each. I definitely get what you mean by redesigning them and being there drafting stage because their are some problems I found Grass starter: The grass starter’s name specifically the baby is fine I would do more with the tribe theme however. First on Yalloochor is effective as a first stage and feels different from the other alligator starters, but for most recent starters there is usually a story in place for example quaxly is a kid who likes to dance becoming a ballerina but losing his enjoyment because he takes it to seriously before becoming a carnaval dancer having tons of fun but this lacks in these designs. Deinoquent does not have middle starter proportions and has a personality to close to croconaw, he’s simple and that’s fine but I feel like you need to show more growth in your starter as it grows with you add more tribe inspiration to go along with the ancient animal theme. Aluchagator gas a cool idea but in execution you could have done more and less. It has the same personality as deinoquent and the luchador does come out of nowhere maybe give hints like one scar on the stomach of deinoquent maybe for the tribesmen theme you should also incorporate semioleon fighting tactics like fear tactics they used and their war cry, the design is busy but in a good way this would make the luchador theme seem more deserved. The fire starter: The fire starter has the most effective designs but the worst name and the most simple. Gila feels the most like a starter but first change that name maybe give it a theme of war due to it looking like it has armor and the tail looks like a sack to hold it’s fire or ammo before becoming a “tank” this could work with the poison type with assassinations. First change the name of gila maybe to “Gaderma” for “gila”, “gun”, and “heloderma suspectum” the Gila monsters scientific name. Gryno has the best name but I would still change maybe to Velagine for venom, gila, and steam engine not only being related to war because of Henry ford but the toxic gasses it emits other than that the design could use a few tweaks but is the most effective. Genomonsters deserves a better name as well you said it’s a tank and could easily be changed to one the name tarmorillia named after tank as in a tank of acid and the weapon, armor, gila, monster, and little willie the first prototype tank. The design is great and doesn’t require much change. Water starters: Porpwa is cute and doesn’t really need change. I would change the name to something else though maybe porpowa which is a small change but an effective one. Now in the middle stage I can say my idea for the starter their was a major fight against the natives and the Americans who lived there and Orkwa ghost wave looks like a butterfly wing which symbolizes change and the acceptance of change like for example angry spirit who are spiteful for what happened to them in the past so make orkwa mad maybe other pokemon picked on them. Orkwa’s name should change as well maybe too Orideded for orca, snide, and deluded its design won’t have to change much for this. Orkiwa has one glaring problem it’s proportionately it’s just an orca so you need to change that a little, you also said you needed ideas for the wave of the head keep the butterfly theme I said before but you could make it look like tribal head wear since it’s close already and maybe tribal marks. I would also change the name to Orazen from Orca, aura by pronunciation, Oracle because in tribes for wisdom sake, and zen for it has excepted their fate. General notes: The biggest problem with these starters are their personalities aren’t concrete enough or different enough in their lines. Also most starters have themes even since day one for example gen 1 is common pets. The theme I came up with should be obvious if you put the pieces together in their origin. The theme is the affects of war the grass starter is the soldiers aka the fighting type, the fire starter is the weapons used to kill aka poison=death of others, and the water starter is the people lost in war aka ghost=dead

I love these designs! I especially love the fire one! One little thing is the eyes of the 1st stage water starter may be too far up, like notice how most pokemon starters have big foreheads to make them look more baby-like. I hope you continue to do more of these videos for your region!

Pretty cool designs, I'm not an artist, but I think I can give you some advice. (Bible warning) For the first stages, give them more personality (this also applies to the other stages), for example; Sugimori said that Snivy is the cool one, Oshawott is serious and Tepig is funny. Also make them more "Chibi" (bigger heads and smaller body). For the middle stages, I think the designs look way too mature for the second stages, the water starter kinda is saved tho. Look at designs made by gamefreak, they are kinda like teens, they're basically the transition from the first to the final stage. So simplify them in this stage. For the final stages, Idk what to say, I think their inspiration could be more clear, with more details, but not oversaturated at the same time. Basically more meaningful details. Sometimes less is more. Aluchagator: I think the final design doesn't speak Lucha Libre enough for me. I would go back to the bipedal design of 7:18 or 7:30. I honestly don't hate bipedal designs, they can look as cool as a non bipedal design. In my opinion, I like the second one more, I feel like it has more personality, like it's confident or cool. I think you should take inspiration from Hawlucha or Incineroar. And of course real life Lucha Libre. Genomonster: I kinda don't like the way it's drawn (the perspective), although this is how Terapagos was drawn, with this fakemon I don't like it as much. But honesty I can say anything more. I guess I like the name. Orkiwa: I think I liked the spine pattern, fits for ghost types, not much I can say though. Other things that you could do is improving the line art, they kinda look like a sketch, and drawing every limb, the grass starter and the fire started suffered from this. But anyways I'm looking forward on how these fakemons change. So yeah, cool!

My notes on the final evolution for the grass starter: NO MORE BIPEDAL FINAL STAGES!!!! IT RUINED MY LOVELY LITTLE BLACK KITTY!!!!!! Oh! Also, I'd either pick the grass starter or the water starter. The fire starter final evolution I also think looked really cool with that giant hand, but I just feel that overall, you need to incorporate a theme with it better. If it's healing, there should be some hints to that in its previous evolutions and if it's its destructive fire breath, again, it should be shown a bit more in the previous evolutions. I think the healing one sounds more interesting though, and more like something you'd WANT as your Pokémon partner! I also love how his tongue looks! It's so cool! I think with the water starter, if it's going to end up being ghost type, maybe show that a bit more in it's markings. Like slowly make them look more and more like a skull or skeleton as it evolves. Or maybe make that spirity smoke it's snorting out slowly look more and more like it has ACTUAL spirits in it. I love the colors with this one too. Overall, I hope this helps. I think you have interesting base ideas that just need to be flushed out a little more in each lines, but I really like them none the less!

Hi, I am gonna give you some ideas. I will try to be as less offensive as possible. The 1st stage grass starter looks like totodile. You can change the face and color and make it look more grassy. The fire one is kinda ok but the water dolphin looks horrible. The grass starter is based on ellegator wrestling but the other two aren't based on such kind of activities so the trio doesn't look balanced. The fire one looks like a route 15 pokemon and the water one looks like a boxart legendary. You can just redesign but I'll appreciate you if you restart by taking new animals. When you were drawing the grass starter, totodile and fuecoco were dancing in my head. No one said you to complete the crocodile starter trio. We just had a water dolphin in scarlet and violet. The fire starter is unique though. Give three of them three different emotions and you will draw the faces according to their respective emotions. The fire starter looked good because you used thick lines, this is actually an art tip. Thick lines on the outside and thin lines on the inside. Make the first stage head bigger, thus they will look more cute. And please look at other famous fakemon artists such as truegreen7 . Again, keep your thick line art style. It looks very nice. Every starter of a trio has a different theme but they also share a same theme at the same point.
