We are going to teach you how to turn off your body's gravity... or sort of it! For this experiment, you will need a 60 cm by 40 cm (or 24 inch by 16 inch) mirror and cardboard.
Looking at these materials, you probably already figured out that this is an optical illusion, right?
So, what's the physical logic behind the experiment? A interesting property of mirrors is, when looking at the object, the distance between our nose and the mirror is the same as the distance between the mirror and the reflection of our nose. The human body has a particular feature as well. Our bodies are mirrored, with one side practically identical to the other.
So, why not try it at home?
