Hyrax might be the most terrifying foe we've ever faced. The Devil Splicers tried and failed to meld Eliksni technology with the Hive. He hasn't just succeeded...he's surpassed it. So if he...once a lowly Dreg could achieve such a feat...imagine what else could possible find power within The Deep? All of a sudden...Calus' offer isn't looking all that bad.

Reason why the Hangman hates machines/servitors is that they feel no pain. They just take damage and explode/die. He likes to see pain and suffering.

I have to agree with you on Hiraks. I really like him the most. I’m gonna enjoy killing him. As someone who enjoys the lore in this game, I was really surprised when I read about Hiraks and was shocked to learn he had achieved Ascendent Hive status. I hope that when we fight him in his Ascendent Plane, we have a mechanic that is similar to a raid where we fight him outside his Ascendent Realm and once we kill him, he retreats back in to his realm and we have to navigate his throne world to find him and damage him during a specific encounter and each time we die, we get teleported outside with a debuff saying something like “ Hiraks finds you unworthy of challenging him” or something similar and we have to go back into the realm after fighting off enemies sent outside to prevent us from coming back in and after we corner him, he uses his knowledge of the sword logic to constantly put us down. Then once we finally kill him, we get an exotic boomer gun. Plus I want his boomer gun to shoot different elements and also have a much wider AOE damage. That would make fighting a pseudo Hive-Fallen hybrid boss much more exciting. Lemme know your thoughts on that.

We, the community, NEED an hour long lore video. I beg you! Rather sooner than later. I’m so hyped for Forsaken and all the lore that comes with it. Been having some awesome discussions with fellow lore-lovers on your discord! Thanks a bunch for this video. Nice to know something about the beasts we’ll get to destroy soon enough.

I just read the coverage on the Barons and I must say...I am very intrigued and hope there is more lore behind each of them because what has been given thus far has been very intriguing...atleast to me. The idea of them coming out of nowhere makes sense given the colossal Power Vacuum in Sol System only made greater with Ghaul’s death, Panoptes, and arguably even Xol’s Death (Though with him and Nokris...I feel their exact goals and threat we’re not really well explained.) Something else I must applaud with the Barons from the material provided in the coverage and promos is that despite being Fallen/Scorn, it appears the boss battle with each of them will deploy unique attack patterns (Like battling Yaviks in a sort of deathrace, the sniper duel with Pirrha, and avoiding traps placed by Araskes) that compliments their origins and personalities. This is something I’ve really wanted, and while we’ve been gradually seeing it, I am hoping the Barons are the next milestone in Destiny’s boss design. I actually have quite a bit to say that I am loving with the Barons, but this wall of text is much too long. I will say my one worry is that I hope the Adventures hunting them down are actually pretty long and substantial.

Remember the Mindbender actually married his waifu....try to top that.

I love how you put together this brilliant breakdown of the barons, and I am looking forward to further coverage of this new expansion in the Destiny lore. I'm also looking forward to your continuing efforts in bringing the lore of Warframe to our attention. I recently started playing Warframe, and the very little I've seen so far, well I can see why it has grabbed your attention. Also, I normally don't do this, but I have yet to watch any of the Warframe lore videos until I've completed the star chart and quests. I don't want the story to be spoiled before I have a chance to experience it for myself. Keep up the amazing work you do!!!

I would love to see the Forsaken recap video. Probably just focus on all events and points that could affect the Forsaken DLC: Fallen Wars, the old sol fallen houses and their desperation to unite, House of Wolves, the Taken War, Savathûn gaining control of the Taken from Oryx, etc
