Your bitch ass would not shut the fuck up during the stream. When someone says to shut the fuck up, you do it. You didn't even finish it with mtashed, who are you to make a guide about it.
It's funny....the encounter at the end with the MOST mechanics I understood. But all the others were confusing. We need a "raid guide for complete morons" so I can understand. Lol.
Is there praetorians in this raid ? That’s where my gamer tag came from , when VoG was the only raid in destiny . Also my cousin is “a gorgon “ and our friend is “a supplicant” lol.
Rather have size and number of enemies be the challenge over buffs and artificial wipe mechanics. One of the funnest raids for me was wrath of the machine ironically. This one looks like a middle ground but the boss fight seem hella tidious.
I'm surprised you took as much shit from Kackis as you did before you peaced out to do terrible things like look after your family and not get Kackis his shitty emblem.
@@abirmawi2808 you are wrong the drifter doesn’t support the darkness neither does the exo stranger, they support the use of the balance of light and dark and using it for the reason you believe rights.
I used to adore raids but now it just feels overwhelming. I don't have 5 other players anymore and randoms are so toxic to people who dont run it every week.
I wish I was a raid master. I would love to walk new people through. Obviously it would get to a point where we would disband if it’s taking like 20 tries but I would understand that it’s better for the community as a whole if more players knew how to do the raids so that it’s easier to find fireteams.
Bungie: "we don't want warlocks to have to use well of radiance all the time" also Bungie : "we've made a final boss encounter where warlocks need to be running well of radiance all the time"
Having experienced a 980 Nightfall with Divinity, Bungie need to stop designing things that are designed to be doable or even trivialised by a very specific loadout
21:57 Being too close doesn’t matter. You have to stun the boss with DPS to avoid getting wiped. The little wave of energy you see is a visual cue letting you know you’ve stunned the harpy and can continue doing damage.
That's why I shouldn't watch the whole video at once. Just when I finally got my brain around the first boss, all the complicated stuff for second boss erased it.
As a D2 raid newbie, I finally did this raid last night and I can tell you 110% it is NOWHERE NEAR as complicated as this guy makes it out to be. I put it off for months because I got discouraged from just watching this...there is waaaayy too much extra info and rambling on small points you dont even need to know right away. My advice for fellow newbies is watch one of the shorter guides to get an idea of the mechanics, then dive head in with other newbies and learn the extra stuff as you go. Trust me its so damn fun and simple that way.
that dosent make you a dummie. im here to learn the last boss mechanics for in the day 1 of the raid i got only to the 3rd encounter (3/4). its better to be prepared for your next run than go inn blind and be a nuisance to your team.
@@thesavagegummybear7341 this works both ways chief. r/woosh. if you didint get my point let me explain it FOR DUMMIES. what i meant by my comment is that this joke makes no sense and isint even funny in the first place. but you didint get it so here my r/woosh for you.
Crazy. I seen a post that literally said “KWTD, need experienced players , have done flawless” ... the raid was less than 18 hours old. I’ve been playing since release and even I was intimidated by that.
@@repositoryofmemes heh I was farming teir 3 on rekoning and this guy sounds like a drink Russian started screaming at me because I "Did not use tether" yet I was using tether at the most efficient times and the time he was meaning was a time I tetherd
I really appreciate these guides, as someone who doesnt have a full raid team and always has to use LFG its so nice having a sliver of an idea of what im supposed to do beforehand
My favorite raid to this day is still the vault of glass. I still remember when most people weren’t able to complete it for weeks I think even months. And then you get to hard mode and you’re stuck all over again 😂. Those were the days. First raid and most creative yet simple one haha. Looking back it was very simple but it never ceased to be fun to run through
You have no idea how much I wish more people would watch these raid guides. I've failed the leviathan 6 times in a row because one person in my team was a blueberry who doesn't know what to do and expects to be carried.
I just did the raid for the first time and divinity run all in one now that I understand the raid now I can help others complete the Raid this would make the 5th Raid I have completed I want to thank all that helped with the Raid Thanks Everyone
Thewarhorse47 It has good weapons that won’t be sunset for an entire year, plus it gives divinity. I had the same thought process as you for every leviathan raid and now here I am scrambling to get everything from those raids now that they’re being retired. Lesson: Don’t delay, finish current/past content asap
@@khvostov7g-0x17 I couldn't get through leviathan. My team got stuck in that round room where you have to jump through the rings. Smh the group of friends I do play with aren't too big on the raids unfortunately since they're nooobs so it kinda makes me one too. Finally finished bad juju quest yesterday. Too much FARMING!
@@EmporerAaron There’s always going to be demand for Divinity which you get from the raid, but I’ve never bothered getting it because it seems everyone has it at this point and you only need one person to have it in a fireteam. The legendary weapons are not must-have, and the armour looks good but might throw year one players off because they’re just reskins of a previous eververse set. If you don’t play garden, you’re not missing out on much tbh, even though divinity is a big part of the meta
I haven’t played Destiny in a while, and just got back into it for Shadowkeep. However, I always remembered your name and quality of guides, so when I needed to learn how to do the new raid you were my first pick
Is it just me or does he make this sound more complicated than splitting the atom? Rather than make me want to tackle this raid he’s exhausted me and I can’t be arsed.
@@l2pkosrs498 good on you. It just dragged on and on especially that last boss fight. It's definitely easier going into the raid and having someone explain as you go along.
Ya I think you guys are missing the point of a raid 17 mins in and you have not killed any big bad. I want to fight impossible odds and come out the victor. Not play Mario with a gun..
I miss the days when raid mechanics were intuitive without 'wtf just happened' wipe mechanics. Now a days you need a 45 min video just to figure out what is going on. I mean, can you imagine the amount of trial and error needed to do this the first time? Who intuitively thinks 'lets jump in the goo it just vomited up'?
canadiangunshy hmmm the boss is moving away from the players and he just spit out something? Seems to me like the boss doesn’t want us to grab it. Dude it’s obvi
You don't need a 45 min video to teach you. If you are relying on content creators, there are much better guides on RU-vid. "Riiiick Kaaackis here" content to video lenght ratio are ridiculous. I just don't know how his mouth doesn't hurt from that much talking. Fallout Plays has a great raid guides
I like Rick Kackis raid guides better then many others i have seen because his guides are thoroughly explained. He doesn't leave details out. If many details are left out of a raid guide, you can end up being in the actual raid activity much longer then you would like to, because you watched a short non detailed raid guide. The more you know, the easier and faster you will complete this raid or other raids with no problem. In my opinion, Ricks guides are the BEST period. 👍
@@saren7283 except they're right. None of it's ever been complicated. That's why it's stacked with multiple mechanics. This one just has a lot to keep track of, more so than others. And that's a lot of talk coming from someone who's having someone else teach them how to do it, just like everyone else.
I know a lot of people call you long winded, but I’ve used your guides before with LW and SOTP and it’s been very informative. Just want to say I am appreciative dude!
Thank you again Rick because I can see in his entirety a raid that I will never do because I have not a team of my own, neither I have enough coordination to be able to join a made up one without being a burden to everyone 😂 For what that matters, I still love Destiny because every new DLC enriches the Lore, that I am very found of, but every new raid just seems overcomplicated by mechanics that requires perfect coordination, when old raids like Vault of Glass and King's Fall were far better without being that hard on the mechanic side. I don't understand why Bungie thinks that put so many mechanics in a raid makes it better
I know this video is a little older but for everyone who watches this video try get this info out it will make The Consecrated Mind DPS phase last longer making a 1 phase on the 2nd to last encounter a little easier .... If you have 1 warlock with nova bomb specifically Devour nova bomb that continuously hurts enemies inside it or a Thunder crash code of the missile Titan you can have 1 of these supers cast there super just as the boss starts moving backwards down the hall to the centre of the arena and slow or even stop him from moving for a couple seconds, If your using a Nova Bomb warlock to slow down the boss when the boss starts moving down the hall backwards jump in the air to the point where you can land the nova bomb like 10 or 15 meters behind the boss aiming at the ground with the nova bomb, the boss should stop or slow down because he won't want to go through your super and than eventually start moving when the super runs out...If You are using Code of the missile thunder crash titan when the boss starts moving backwards down the hall to the centre cast thunder crash and land your crash 10 to 15 meters behind the boss and it will stop or slow down if your super is in the right spot just aim for the centre of the hall way behind the boss with ether super and you will be golden.... if you wanna use both supers in a single instance be quick about it have nova bomb cast behind him first immediately when hes starts moving backwards than do your damage well hes stopped, once the nova bomb runs out and immediately when he starts moving at full speed have the titan cast thunder crash behind him and then finish the damage phase.
Not to mention the content to video length ratio. You don't need 45 min video for 4 encounters raid. Nkuch has a very simple, easy to understand guide. It's a 10 min long video
finally getting some time in this raid. past 2 days ive been on the eyes team for third encounter. definitely happy i watched this because i wasnt sure if i could pick up the voltaic goo if i already had the buff.
This raid is just too complicated and it’s not just that whenever I do raids I end up playing with toxic people who have no pratience what’s so ever after 1 or 3 tries they ends up leaving 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Pixel Killer i was on xbox trying to do this raid, i always got to final boss fight but then had countless teammates leave. switched to pc and people are sooo much more experienced. gl tho it’s a pretty complicated raid
slantyzz- ah okay, yea I just somehow got a ridiculously good group and did the raid yesterday and the day before, only took about 2 hours just cause we had a guy that kept messing up, literally did first run on boss and I didn’t find the raid too complicated but I think I did the easier jobs
Just wanted to say Thank You. I am a very different thinker from most, and no I am I not a "dummy" I just understand and process things differently than others. I really appreciate the effort you put into this, it made the raid seem easy and it actually stuck with me, I am going to attempt this next Sat. when I have a higher level with more mods, but I just personally wanted to say Thank You.
Just did this raid for the div with my buddy and some randoms and it was my first time even trying the raid and I cleared it after 5 hours with randoms because he had to go thanks for the help kackis
In my opinion this is the hardest raid ever. I can do all the raid from destiny 1 and 2 with my eyes closed but this one damn requires a lot teamwork and COMMUNICATION is a MUUUST have like oxygen 😂
If I might offer some suggestions because 43 minutes is a long time to watch a video, especially if you have to watch portions a second time once you get into a raid the first time, here are a few. 1. Try to cut out the over emphasis on things like - "these enemies will be immune. Meaning - they won't take any damage - no matter what you throw at them - even if it's the kitchen sink - or the bathroom sink - actually any sink for that matter". I know you didn't say all that, but you get the point. Simply say something like, "immune white shielded enemies will spawn, you'll need the buff to break their shields." Sometimes you get way too wordy which unnecessarily adds length to your video. 2. Start out with quick instructions on the mechanics to get through the encounters. Short and sweet. 3. After the mechanics - double back to go over tips and suggestions like armor buffs and mods for each section. 4. At the end of the short sections describing mechanics and suggestions, play out video of the encounters so people who have the time to watch that part can do so. There is nothing wrong with a long video that gives both instruction and a full length demo of the strategy in action, but break it up to make it more user friendly. But most importantly - thank you for making these. They are very helpful.
I wasn’t looking to do the raid I was just like for real wtf the raid came out like 3 days ago and less that 100 teams have completed it and this community already saying “be experienced”
Yo Bungie could legit make a League of Legends type game with all the mechanics of D2 and using maps like this maze. It would be interesting to see them do this. (Hope someone tells them)
thanks for the guide. being stuck at home has given me time to revisit destiny, so I thought I would try the raid. Now all I have to do is find 5 other people and educate them from 1-1000 on how to do this lol
So many people always talk about how great the raids are, for me it just sound like too big of a hassle and an overload of information and stuff you need to do. I really wish I had friends, wouldn't be bad at communicating, and wouldn't hate everyone
Try lfg. I used to have friends back in D1 but they never came back to D2 after the catastrophic launch. LFG is nowhere near as fun as friends, but I have had times where we couldn't complete encounters by how much we were laughing doing stupid shit. Sometimes LFG has depressed, gloomy, players that barely talk and feel like they take the thing way too seriously. I once had a guy talk 3 times in the entire raid with the exception of callouts. Sometimes it can be really shitty, especially if you are new to the raid or are low light. People will kick you outta nowhere, and even if they apologize for it it still feels shit. My recommendation is to just try and do it, and so long as you are not an asshole or unwilling to learn, even if you get kicked you'll still have a clear conscience and can get into other teams with ease. I use the bungie app out of laziness but reddit works better if you need sherpas
I know this is 9 months late but everyone is learning and teaching raids now for the moments of triumph 2020. A good time to hop in or find a clan. I never raided D2 until this summer and I've cleared all except Garden
@@thimovijfschaft3271 it's possible to end up in a role I often play in new dungeons or raids: "stand right here and do exactly this." That way you don't have to worry about communication errors and you can still participate. Obviously from what I see here Garden involves a lot more communication, but it's very possible to get through Scourge of the Past just being in charge of clearing adds while the other more knowledgeable players handle the difficult mechanics.
Yeah thank you Rick Khakis I have looked up your raid guides for so long dude and because you explain it so well you know so keep up the good work and I hope you get to 1 million subscribers 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌😍😍😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😱😱😱😱😱😱
Well I looked this guide up in preparation for doing this raid to get the new exotic But after seeing the mechanics of this one And knowing from personal experience how demanding and toxic raid groups are these days Looks like one more exotic is going to have to be added to the never have list ☹️
"A pretty massive undertaking" Indeed. It took us seemingly years of toil and struggle simply to get in the damn door! And here they do it in seconds. AMAZING!
Thanks Rick! Im trying to learn this raid even though ive never completed one to get the Divinity trace rifle. The hard part is gonna be finding people who want to do it with me. But thank you again for this knowledge. Hopefully Ill get Divinity soon!!
I hate when commentators make it sound complicated then it actually is 🙄 like dude you really didn’t have to explain all of that just basically say the correct things to do i know it’s for dummies but you making it complicated for experts who don’t wanna know all of that extra stuff and you the only full raid guide i found
can we talk about how rick didnt shout me out for saving the boys from hours of pain by telling them they require 30 motes each side in order to properly get to dmg phase! feelsbadman. but great video bro and was awesome to watch from banana's stream for the full duration with yall! Eyes up Kackis.
@@hi7535 didnt see you talking in their stream for 25 hours for their clear? nor did i see you save them about 4 hours of being stuck in final boss cause no one else would tell them what was wrong. bananas quote is " bro you just saved us about 5 hours of trying to figure out why we cant get to the dmg phase consistently." so dont speak when your not a true fan or truly involved in the grind pal
Dustin Ford could not have said it better myself my dude.. people who weren’t even in the stream trying to think they have some authority to comment on who deserves what 🤣🤦🏻♀️
