Timestamps right upfront for your pleasure. If you're 100% new to the Garden of Salvation boss fight, watch the whole vid to fully learn the mechanics. If you sorta already know the mechanics, skip right to the Order of Operations section. Thanks again to Ridge for sponsoring today's video. Easily the best boss guide I've seen. And ive watched literally all of them today. You should definitely do more of them. A full raid guide in this style would be amazing the next raid drop
@@Mscape7 No. In my opinion spire of stars boss mechanics are harder. GOS is actually fairly simple. You do not have to remember stupid symbols like in last wish raid. GOS final boss fight is actually fun. Just deposit motes and defend the relays and build platforms with the tether.
Spent 16hrs on day one on glitch-fest xbox.. only got to 3rd encounter. Now have 26 clears and its pretty straight. Imo last wish riven (legit) is much more complex. Lets not even mention vault.
My theory with the bank is that it starts with 20, and you need to fill it up to 50 (Therefore 30 motes needs to be picked up normally). A vex steals 10 motes. Therefore you can allow the vex to sacrifice once without wiping, but if it happens twice in a bank where you have not banked yet, the bank goes to 0 and therefore a wipe. If one vex sacrifices you need to send 1 person in to get 10 motes extra. Not sure if you did mention it, but when one of the banks is full, it is immune from sacrifices, and the ads that spawn in on that side will not have the shield.
The entire video sounds like Rick Khakis. Playing together must have caused a mind meld. Hopefully he will clean up this guide with some of the actual mechanics missed and not sound like a bot.
Quick add: the boss will take a section of the floor whenever you open a portal. So if you need to send someone in a third time for extra motes, you’ll end up missing more tiles.
First off, this vid is done incredibly. You broke everything down beautifully. My gang and I are going to try to finish the Raid tonight after putting it off for an extended period. With your tips, I'm sure we'll succeed!
Watched this video That's another Cyclops My fireteam and I were having problems with the Raid since we're first timers and this game helped us finish it~ Thank you so much
I've been D1 player from its beta days. Trust me, you are by far the most elaborate and easy-to-understand streamer out there that puts out the raid guides.
True the Angelics are yellow bars (which imo makes them majors) but they appear very infrequently and do much less damage than all the goblins and the boss
Fallout makes it look easy with his excellent well-organized and comprehensive guide. Getting six people to work together as a cohesive coordinated unit isn't as easy!
Easily the best guide covering this fight. I've watched a few others and was still slightly confused but this has cleared everything up for me. Thanks a ton, man
Heres a good strategy for tethers. Order is defense-1-2. So on red side, rebuilding will be team defense activates tether, team 1 redman is next in line and team 2 redman finishes the tether
Excellent guide. Lots of helpful tips. We have a few hours in now and still struggling with tether and visual glitches on Xbox. Seems like the platforms are not reliable when tons of dead vex are lying around...
5:02 when that hunter bumped into you. I just got mf triggered. This whole raid triggers me due to the fact that teammates constantly body block you, whether it be chasing during the puzzle or when ur grabbing motes
Getting into high end raiding, this is definitely one of my biggest pet peeves. With collision on, your teamates that rush can bop you off the map or the Jumping puzzle, even if your playing perfect didn't do anything wrong. In a raid it's INFURIATING.
I did my first garden run today (little late to the party lmao) its VERY validating to hear you say constantly rebuilding is a waste of time and dangerous. I didnt want to be rude to the person teaching me but holy shIT.
Thank you. Thank you for carrying Kack-Ass so that we don't have to. Great vid too... the drawings are really helpful. Still just so glad the community doesn't have to suffer Kack's Ds
This is an awesome video. I only just watched it and already have 10 clears, but it's the best one I've seen. Skipping building might actually be a pro tip; but as an accomplished builder, and having completed "Stop Hitting Yourself" I've got to say that "Team Defense" does not sound as cool or important as "Team Builders" 😎😂
I actually like this style of raid guide more. Fallout treats his general audience as "dummies" and presents material so that the typical dummy would understand, and even provides pictures or god-tier diagrams . Guides from Datto, Kackis, Ninja Pups, etc. are fine, but they're more for the "regular folks". Does that mean I'm a child and new pictures with my books and guides? You're goddamn right.
I have to say, i like Datto Kackis and a few other and i still go to their channels every day but.... nobody does it like this guy, he even has a god tier diagram lol, still waiting for his god roll videos from this dlc
@@EFV2000 yeah I dont see your point though for $140 I can get a kilogram of carbon fiber and pay someone to manufacture it for me so I could make 10 wallets and sell them at a profit. I think 40 is alot more reasonable they still would have made a profit and that's not a crazy price
Mr. Plays, thank you for this information rich and instructive video. That being said, are you mad at us? Did you just find out you’re being audited by the IRS? You sound irritable as all fuck, as though you’re giving a presentation at work, in front of your boss, all the while that mysterious burning rash between your cheeks is making your life a living hell. “Just get through this, just get through this, fuck my life, just get through this!” Your live streams are hosted by a fun, chill, laid-back Fallout. Hey look, you’re laughing and having a good time! Yea! Not wanting to speak for anyone else here but I’ll simply suggest that it would be good to see that happy go-lucky guy host your information videos more frequently. And thank you, again.
Fallout, curious would make any updates to this guide or is this basically still how you would run the fight. Still using Izinagis or would you now use Xeno? Love your stuff.
Any tips for console floor rebuilding? There are times when he literally takes every island from a side before you get to a post damage phase rebuild phase.
kill the spawning adds very quickly and take the 2 or so secs before they spawn again to quickly rebuild, another reason tether hunter is excellent for the center pillar in the milk where the adds spawn so they can be wiped quick
