Yeah. The guardian credo is valiant, yet it’s rarely spoken since it carries a bad rep for people who say it sincerely. But I bet next week we’ll get some more answers from Mithrax, and perhaps by week 10 we’ll see if anything happens to Eido.

Though of her dying gets me very VERY angry but if she becomes the first eliksni guardian I welcome it I'm still going to cry though

Well, we do see in cutscenes for later weeks (from the season reveal) that Mithrax will get into a swordfight with Eramis, with her departing in said cutscene as well. Perhaps what might happen is Mithrax is seriously wounded, Eramis has to flee, and then some. My personal theory ofc

Also, considering that to become a guardian one must die and lose their memory, Eido becoming a guardian might mean a loss of her records. Mithrax's dark past feels too similar to the whole crow story but it'd be an interesting if for Mithrax and Eido to go from so close to distant because Mithrax has no memory of Eido when he's reawakened. In that case, it'd be a foil to crow's story of being distant to Uldren but close to crow

@@toalorikan626 The trauma of losing Riis is self inflicted. Variks told us what happened before the Great Whirlwind, it was just like others who were blessed by the Traveller. They got full of themselves and became engrossed in power grabs and when the attack came they were too fragmented to stand against the invaders. Variks is possibly the only Eliskni left who knows what happened and will give truthful accounts. Inaaks, Meethrax mother also doesn't give any detail other than the Whirlwind. Makes it sound like a calamity set upon them, but they were defeated because they got lost in their folly. Destiny keeps trying to point out that the sudden acceleration of a civilization tends to make the inhabitants arrogant and foolish. The Cabal is another such issue, they grew powerful and decided to take over much of their known galaxy only to get lazy and distracted by power grabs by the nobility. Both fell appropriately just as they were attacked by forces of darkness. Pretty sure that was Xivu Arath handiwork there. What's crazy is both somehow had this idea that the Traveller was theirs. The Eliskni are more fervent in this idea, but let's not forget Ghaul tried to take the light and did not succeed. He only succeeded in block off our connection to it but the light still remained, he had no control over this power, just blocked and rerouted the power that was always constantly be released by the Traveller. The Traveller seems to respond to arrogance, Ghaul called himself a God and the Traveller woke up and sent him to the shadow realm and we learned in Witch Queen the Witness got some arrogant thought and the Traveller unleashed that divine slap which put all the Pyramid ships to sleep and the Witness got sent the equivalent of 500 years away from where we currently are. The Eliskni are basically like the Vanguard, notice they say strange things about the Traveller and what that think it wants. It doesn't talk to anyone, no need to why would a God need to speak to a being it created. If giving you power to live much longer than normally possible isn't enough of a hint, you might as well die. All living things grow and attempt to progress, every civilization touched by the Traveller did the same. We know of a few who actually put up a good fight and are memorialized by weapons in Kings Fall raid, wonder why?!? Kings Fall has more meaning than we thought, any way. Eliskni prophecy should amount to nothing since it was literally just made up to draw the scattered together. It's textbook use of religion to gather people together under one banner for protection and preservation. Thing is it can be made to come true though, Kell of Kells is basically a King. The one who is a leader and brings the people together and helps and protects their way of life. There's a lot of King references in Destiny. What other Kings will be revealed🤔?

Same man, I like eido. She's cute, smart, innocent and helpful. Plus she is quite young and I don't want her to be taken so soon. Hopefully, mithrax will take the Mantel of guardian instead of his daughter. And if it doesn't, I will have a long collection of video tapes for her to watch and remember.

I really like this. I also hope that in this fight between Eramis. Misraaks is going to lose against her and just before being struck down Eido will jump in trying to save her father. But Misraaks catches his breath just in time to save his daughter but in turn is stabbed or frozen by Eramis.

also the fist part of the prophecy says that the traveler will marvel, be astonished from it’s might, worthiness, who ever is the kell of kells will become a guardian

so i think that misraaks will become the kell of kells, the first eliksni risen

Honestly, not much to say. She's Mithrax's daughter. She had some dialogue back in Splicer that was basically just lore for House Light.

Might you be reffering to the *Winnower* ? It's not a real entity, it's an allegory for the onthological property that is the Darkness. The Witness personnified it just so that it'd be simpler for us to understand. Just like the "Gardener" they are inherent properties of existence that are beyond even existence itself as they predated it. Another way to think about it is that they are the two properties/logics that allow existence, time, matter, etc. to even exist.
