I loved his game and a kid. Never owned it, but I would rent it at Phar-Mor (since you could rent for 5 days) any chance i had.

Oh hells yeah. One of my NES jams! I play every Dynasty Warriors game cause I grew up with this.

Love this game! From this game, I got I into the regular Romance series games, and the novel, TV series and various movies.

“Smoke pot’s effect has worn off”. I really had to look that up to see if it was real or just some clever renaming you did.

Nice job Trav. Maybe not surprisingly, I really enjoyed playing Romance of the Three Kingdoms as a kid. I liked all of the minute detail control that they gave you to manage everything. Never could beat it though. I also liked playing the boardgame RISK so maybe that was part of it's appeal to me too. Destiny seems so similar to Final Fantasy/Dragon Warrior's style of gameplay that I think I would like it too. I do have it complete and bought it back in 2015 for $28 but haven't tried it. It seems like the "search" command was rarely used well in old school games- unless there was an obvious treasure chest it was used to find cryptic BS lol. You rock, NES Friend!

I've heard good things so I picked it up a few months back. Haven't given it a chance yet though. Looks like it's time get into some old school turn based goodness. Another good video!

Great to hear your voice! Also, I'd seen but forgotten about this. I like turned based, tho sometimes, perhaps All Out could have been used more frequently in...all of them.

I'd certainly recommend the 2nd game if you like the first, it's almost a carbon copy of the first game.
