Fun fact - in Destiny 2 if you run the standard Devils Lair strike, you get this song, and if you do the Nightfall, you get the Perfected Redux. So good. Even if canonically it makes no sense.
Fuck the canon, we're paracausal entities. If the hive gods can make a pocket universe by killing diverse and alien shit, we can rock out to banging music as we end their million-year reign of terror with a Baby Seal leather boot to the face
@@Jackomojo you can still replay missions and hear Cayde talking even tho he’s been dead for like 3 years. I don’t think continuity is a thing in destiny anymore lol
"The fallen will continue to claw the walls of our city unless we strike them down. Beneath the ruins of the cosmodrome, in the shadows of an old colony ship we have located the house of devils lair. And the high servitor feeding them their strength. We must destroy this machine god, and send their souls screaming back to hell."
The fallen are an issue but.....whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
I always thought punching was stronger than using ur weapons in the beta, I was level 2 and joined up my friends and just kept punching him LOL I kept dying but no one got mad cuz it was hella fun
And in Rise of Iron he is coming back with an army of siva fallen, and he is infused with siva too! Also... the devil walker... is infused with siva... we are all gonna get SO wrecked :P That devil walker is so hard if it is higher level than you, especially in that tiny space.
Seriously all memes aside, I don’t think I’ll have another gaming experience like Destiny. Don’t even know how to describe the feelings that game gave me. Playing the strikes, the raids, crucible, PoE, Court of Oryx, doing ANYTHING in this game was an adventure, and I really wish I could experience it again.
Yeah, me too. When Destiny 2 came out, I grinded the heck out of it for about 2 or 3 years... but now I don’t really have enough time to play games anymore. So now since I play D2 less, I stopped caring about it. I mainly play Destiny 1 now... because I have more fun on it and I have all my guns and the meta will never change. Idk... I’m weird but there are a lot of people like me.
@@Trump_Gaming I’d go back to D1 in a heartbeat if the player base was still high in number. I played that game an unbelievable amount. People just aren’t dedicated enough to even want to finish a raid, so I pretty much put all of destiny on the back burner.
@@alienslayer3927 I would too. I mainly just play Halo MCC, D1 Crucible, and a few other games now. I have little time for gaming and it sucks! I’m just focusing on collecting some stuff that I still haven’t gotten too. There is STILL a player base, but it’s slowly dying. I can usually find a match pretty quickly, and there is still a lot of LFG posts for raids and whatnot. It’s kinda cool. But since the player base is getting smaller now, I think I can tell you how good or bad someone is in the Crucible because I’ve played against them before.... Also, to clarify, so what you’re saying is that you have just stopped playing Destiny altogether?
@@alienslayer3927 I think that when they finally shut down or limit the servers, I may legitimately feel grief 😂 as if a friend or a family member has died, because I literally played this game EVERY DAY for about 3 or 4 years.
@@Trump_Gaming trust me man, I feel you one hundred percent. When they announce they’re gonna shut down servers I’ll probably play it for several weeks on end. I started playing D1 right after the dark below released, and played it pretty much every day since, until forsaken came out for D2. Other than probably Zelda ocarina of time, D1 definitely has more of my play time than any other game.
Back when strike bosses felt threatening and the music ramped up the tension to 11 really emphasising the ability of Sepiks to 1 bang you with Void Burn.
I remember fighting this boss with my warlock and running up to him and doing a nova bomb on him and shoving it straight into his eye ! And of course killed my self in the process! But it was still cool as hell though
Audric Noakes I remember thinking I had death from above in the beta and thought it was like a 'oh no wrong way! *flies up does a loopdloop*' thing. Of course I didn't have it so I FoH'd into the water and died lol
year 1: SHIT SHIT SHIT SHFALSIFHWHLIWHFISDH Guardian Down year 2: Enter the battle: the fuck is this thing? 2 seconds later BDSFJGJ;OGJEO;GOJGOPEGJG BOOM Sepiks Prime cast a great shadow over our city...
level 8 the devils lair was hell. The tank part felt like sieging a castle, having to take frequent supply runs for more primary ammo and cherishing what little special and heavy we had all while dodging the spider tank and several snipers bombarding us. IT TOOK 30 MINUTES TO CLEAR THE TANK.
I was in my junior year of high school when I first heard this song. Now I'm a college graduate and this song still takes be back to the good 'ol days.
like I said I actually did my little project taking the old fight with misha's version of this theme, but Bungie was more popular so mine was not really known.
Arguably the best introductory strike boss. The strike isn't too difficult but if your not prepared, he will, more than happily, put you in your place. And even when your high level he's still able to knock you down a peg, especially on heroics and nightfalls.
One of the absolute best songs to pair with a Strike. D1 nightfall against Sepiks Prime used to keep my adrenaline flowing!!!! Love this song STILL!!!!
This theme plays when you fight Draksis, too. He was scary. What made him even more terrifying is the fact that he was laughing all the time. And whenever he used that ground stomp, he bursted out an evil laugh.
@@mikemike3886 EVEN BETTER cool attention to detail is that this theme plays in the regular strike while the redux plays in nightfalls since yknow nightfalls are selective difficulty and can be extremely hard at times
Oh man, this brings back so many bad memories of me being killed in two hits by Sepiks. Edit: You know, I remember playing Destiny just so I could kill him over and over again. I eventually got so good that I could finish the whole thing in 6 minutes.
I don't have the veteran experience but as a relative new light I love Sepiks and he's sorta become a meme in my fireteam because we all pronounce his name funny.
Sepiks' strike is pretty much known for being the first real obstacle you meet in D1 ahah. Tho I always found the big tank before Sepiks to be harder cuz of the one shot bombshell.
