You can be involved in things growing up that are considered culturally black, but that doesn't make you black. I grew up in a predominantly black neighborhood, hung out mostly with black people, played basketball, listened to rap music, etc. That doesn't make me black and I'm as white as can be. It’s not about “black supremacy” it’s about feeling like you are enough as a black person in America, when everyone else around you is telling you different because you are black.

Within America there is a lot to be proud of being black. Black ppl are pretty much the primary culture creators for the country so much so many countries adopt black culture before they even set foot in America. Also significant figures like MLK fundamentally reshaped the American legal system and forced america to adhere to the principles of its constitution. Like any race tho there are problems that need to be addressed but those problems aren’t reasons to dislike being black. TLDR; Black Americans have had a critical role in building America and are still a major part in American culture, there is a lot to take pride in.
