@J. C. The first game is a fine action romp set around the whole "Reds in the Bed" Communist threat paranoia era that defined the post war United States. So many funny scenarios and characters.

Yeah, that's pretty much what it's about. Publishers wanna pander to people who don't have lives outside of gaming because they are more likely to buy microtransactions, and nowadays everything is about putting in as little effort as possible while maximizing profit. What I don't get however is why split screen was never popular on PC, even while it was for consoles. I mean, PCs have always had more capabilities than consoles, so it's probably just bad decision making on the dev's part, just like tying physics to fps and limiting the LOD range with no option to change it. These issues make older games difficult to enjoy on PC.

Split screen is so vanishing rare its good to see it. It really should have an online option however.

split screen is great when youre 12 and everyone you know lives down the road, its also great when youre a parent, but between being 12 and 40 its wank, that being said, adding another camera to a game is nothing like adding another client and syncing all the entities to online play

@@phutureproof I prefer more options for games then less options. When I am with friends or family and we want to play something, I have very few games to choose from such as most Halo games, few Call of Duty games, Rare Replay, Minecraft, Borderlands, Gears of War, one Army of Two game, and WarGroove. Of course, there are party games and fighting games but there is not really spilt-screen involved.

Can you not just play splitscreen in remote play together?

Three of us got by hunched round a 14" portable TV playing Mario Cart and Goldeneye in a shed lol. Great times non the less.

They added a lot of quality of life changes over the original, am sure online coop could have been added

It's not a ban on looking "vaguely" in anyone's direction. It's just to stop people literally staring at someone. We all know the difference between looking at someone for an appropriate amount of time, and someone just staring at someone. It's obviously a way of getting rid of creeps in the club. Perhaps they had a particular issue. I don't think anyone has ever liked the idea of just being stared at. Especially when it's night time, in a place that's hard to communicate, and everyone's drunk.

In Australia here if someone is staring at you like that you can just tell a staff member and they will be watched and asked to leave if they are acting inappropriate. Or if you're female just tell a group of males next to you and they will sort it out, or at the very worst you could still ask police for protection to leave the area. This is exactly why PC is the best. You can tweak every little thing to get things just how you want them. I assume you can also do this with two tv screens not just two monitors in which case... woah that would be epic.

@@TheBloopers30 If using a Nvidia graphics card open Nvidia control panel and under 3d settings click "Configure surround, PhysX" on the left. Checkmark the box that says "Span displays with surround" and click configure. You can set the screens side by side or vertically depending on how game chooses to split the screen. Although some games like the lego ones have a dynamic screen split that it wouldn't work well on. It should work on anything, including emulators, that your computer can display.

@@darken2417 If the TVs both have HDMI ports then there isn't a reason you wouldn't be able to play a split screen game between the two of them.

Not that every game that is co-op should have split-screen but this is a kind of game where split-screen makes sense to me

I agree, idk why mack cried about it. I have my gf and we can play it splitscreen. For some people like me splitscreen is better cause all my online friends play either asszone or forknite.

@@pauperslament3467 If you want to play online co-op the other person also needs a gaming pc and the game. There is nothing wrong with wanting to play a game in person with someone else on a tv. Like do you actually have fun playing a fighting game in online co-op? Sounds absolutely boring not being able to see the other person's reaction in a game like that.
