Dude, thats my home turf! We used to shred the ville (louisville) nonstop. Back about 20 years ago, yeah I'm fat and old now and couldn't crank my 20" for 20 feet now, my buddies and I were all about 16-17 years old and the gap yall call the jaws gap we called the 21 set. Anyways, we scoped that gap for about 2 years and never had guts to hit it, till one day that is, but not me, I only man'd up to hit the 14 set across the lawn by the playground. But ole mule d*ck William wasn't afraid. Needless to say he landed about like u and folded the front rim n bent his profile 3pc(those were the hype then, and Alex triple walls). If u want to call BS then go ahead, but b4 u do, message me and ill prove it if u doubt it. I will dig out my old sony high 8 cam n cassettes and find a way to upload it and email it to you. For now, mad props bro, keep shredding!
most underrated rider ever shame on the whole bmx industry for not giving that man the chance to show his full potential through the years , he should be as popular as a garret reynols or dennis enarson !
Still hooked up by one of the most influential brands ever though(standard) As far as I know Zack is a successful business man as well. BMX isn't is be and end all.
This guy's a fucking moron for not wearing any safety gear. I've known a couple people who were too cool for helmets. One has spent the past 10 years learning to walk and talk.
Breaks his bike: Screams throws bike Busts his ass: Screams throws bike Bails: Screams throws bike Almost lands it: Screams throws bike Sticks it: Screams throws bike
I remember watching this for the first time, then rewatching it, and rewatching it again. Normally I won’t comment on videos regardless of how good a rider is out of pure laziness, but Zack, if you’re reading this you’re an absolute hero for this part. It’s up there in my top 3 parts of all time.
God damn you're lazy ;-) My phone fucks up sometimes and keeps deleting before I can comment the comment. and I still try when someone is worthy of a Gnarly comment :) Don't be so lazy next time ;-) These dudes are human like us. everyone reads comments :)
That dude is like a ninja on a bike,, when his front tire blew he just jumped over his bars,, everyone else would've been whipped over bars to faceplant.
I have watched this video part 25 times atleast, which doesnt seem much but new edits come out left and right nowadays and this is one I keep returning to when I want to remind myself what the ultimate videopart should look like. It is not one note, no trick is overused to the point of eye-rolling, there is no one with the same bag of tricks and the spots are not from every webedit there is. Perfection!
I was a skater, but had a buddy who got into bmx moreso than progressing at skating, but he had that drive, and this is a testament to that drive. Who the fuck else will grind to front flip on a uphill ledge. Fucking awesome dude.
I dont know much about bmx since I just skate but randomly came across this dude and he's top tier imo when it comes to gnarly aggression in any athletic endeavor love shit like this
This guy is an animal. I don't even bmx, I used to skate and ride motorbikes but still someone can appreciate the madness and skill behind this tricks.
I was lucky enough to grew up close to where gerber is from. I’ve had the opportunity of seeing him ride in person a few times and he is literally the definition of a true street rider. He’s a fucking beast man. I want so badly for him to get the recognition he so badly deserves. He is on a whole other level and the risk factor to his riding is unthinkable. Fuck ya zack keep killing it brother!
thx for posting! not enough vids about him. he's front flipped over so many things, most notably down/over a handrail with no brakes. there's also a great vid of him doing a hop candy-bar x up in his living room : P
The front flip at BK banks is probably the most insane thing I've seen on bmx. Granted I just started watching and riding bmx but, still, flying at that rail upside down is insane to think about.
Mr. Lyons might have to accept the fact that Mr. Gerber is also a Wildman. So much dedication and power. Please don´t hurt yourself seriously…...Stay safe, Mr. Gerber
There's a clip of him from one of his parts (might be the same one) of him front flipping a stair set and another clip of him flairing off of a loading dock to FLAT. Well worth looking up if you haven't seen those, left me absolutely speechless
Holy shit. I have no idea why I came to this video, but this guy is a beast! How he does shit like this without any protection. I was scared watching it.
Dude is one of the best street riders ever. super chill guy also I remember being like 15-16 always talking to him when he was at the park and shit he was never rude once or anything even told me how he does the front flips brakeless. Big respect to this guy.
Zack Gerber is an OG BMX rider. I remember him back in the days always on the Dan's Comp calendars and ads. In my opinion hes the best BMX street rider of all time.
I'm from Baltimore. That wasn't Tupc. School. That's Dumbar high. Tupc went to the school of Art's. Look it up. That spot is sick. I use to bmx. I skateboard till I die
So many questions. How old is this guy? Is that a tennis ball in his rear spokes? If not what is it and why? Is he made of steel? Does he not feel pain? And just how big can one’s balls grow? Badass rider. He should really consider a helmet.
I'm pretty sure this is the biggest gap ever landed on a bike and a board. The second bar counts even though its sloppy! It counts! That's MASSIVE man!! Props!
