I like how people are acting as if the robot is a retiring racehorse and William's house is the glue factory.

Tbh if anyone was to get a retired Battle Bot, I'm glad its William. It kinda feels like when a race horse retires and just gets to go have a chill farm life, but more like the bot's full potential for reasonable chaos can now be reached.

I can't understand why people would be upset with Will buying this battlebot. First off, the owner sold it, meaning it probably was being "retired" anyway. And for people saying it should have been sold to someone who wanted to get into robot fighting, this size of robot is REALLY rare in competition. Most bots, if I recall, fall between 10 and 50 lbs; you'd never find a buyer. Additionally, Will has been on the set of Battlebots multiple times, which tells me he has to have some connection with the competition. Not to mention he was able to fix it. This isn't just some random RU-vidr buying the bot for a one-off video, he'll clearly maintain and use it regularly.

The false ceiling gives me flashbacks to when my dad and I were helping reinstall the ceiling tiles in my grandparent’s house. You learn very quickly why all the stuff had to be taken out of the living space first.

The continuity of this channel is just beautiful, he really pretends to not care that a 3 week old chicken nugget's organic material is slowly being replaced by sediment thus forming a McFossil™ in the back seat of his car.

I once watched a kid who won a contest, play with a battle bot ( don’t remember which one), and he managed to break it somehow. AND you wouldn’t guess what happened next. They fixed it right in front of the kid, took them a total of 10 minutes to make sure. Then gave the controller back to the kid. Almost like they are built to be fixed real quick and easy.

Now I want to enter a couch with wheels into battle bots.

I think it’s absolutely hilarious that you bought a battle bot. like people may buy something nice and luxurious with their money. but you just bought a remote controlled death machine that for some reason is so controversial. like guys, he’s just a normal guy who bought a weaponized remote controlled vehicle.

Thank you for making this. We finally get to see just how destructive these bots are. They seem less dangerous when in an arena, up against solid steel, that its easy to forget how cool they are

I'm so happy that William got and is using red devil! It means that he's also taking care of it and keeping it in working order! I'd much much rather see a bot like this be used for fun and enjoyment than for it to sit abandoned in someone's basement

I can't think of a better retirement for a battlebot, happily destroying stuff without risk of being murdered by another bot.

im not gonna lie i think using the robot like this actually shows how strong they really are, considering in battlebots you theres a sort of lost in translation because how far the cameras watch them you dont realize how actually huge and powerful these are.

I think I may unironically prefer this to watching it fight another robot.

I always wished they made teams film the making of their bots. Why they made a specific design, challenges they had with it, tests they did, things they destroyed. I would be so happy to have a bot and team to cheer for, knowing the background and effort put into it by whichever team I'm watching. Seeing the team thrilled with how it's running pre-fight or being in despair because of something going wrong. I fear this is the closest I will get to that feeling of following a bot, seeing it repaired, talked about how it works, and general carnage. For that, I thank you!

I love this. Seeing one of these things let loose in the real world really makes you appreciate just how crazy deadly they are. Nearly as deadly as Moist Pony.

I don't hate this, i love this, it's nice to know that Red Devil is still being used as a retired bot, Red Devil was one of the bots i loved seeing. Red Devil still gets to do what it does best, hack and saw all in it's way. Edit: it still warms my heart watching the whole thing honestly, Red Devil got a good ending in BattleBots and it's still seeing life today.
