How can they charge that much? We pay 0,00€ if through the national medical assistance, but maybe 40,00€ if through a private clinic (at least this is what I paid last month, because faster).
Judging from that xray of his hand, he probably way over did it on exposure. Xrays in hospital use loads of post processing and ai to make a diagnostic image from a very low dose. Also, hes stood right next to it with no protection...ISL be damned.
i live in a third world country and even here we have public access health care. It's not perfect, but it works just well enough, as well as public access university. It's absolutely depressing that such a rich country like the US can't even do the bare minimum for its residents. It's like you're being punished with a fine for getting hurt or sick. I really hope this video gave you the money to pay this absurd medical bill. Wishing the best to anyone with pending medical bills, specially the ones who also have student loans and things like those
I’m sure you’re aware that X-ray dosage is cumulative and in your experimental setup, there does not appear to be any shielding to direct/absorb X-ray energy which means that each time your energize the tube, you’re flooding the area, and you, with bremstralung radiation.
old video, but WIlliam if you see this comment: you (meaning everyone) cannot do anything right. there is no "right" because people have become soooo addicted to positivity, theyll find something negative to extinguish it with their positivity. best you can do is ball up your fist, raise the middle finger and say "Weep, brokie." thats it. nobody realizes that being nice gets you fuckall. generosity in most cases is a self-inflating ego.
