War Robots Typhon Gameplay - Destroying Enemy Campers With New Hurricane Missiles WR
In today’s video, I’ll be showcasing the Typhon using the River Chase pilot (this pilot boosts damage by +25% when you activate the Typhon’s ability) and the NEW Hurricane missiles from update 9.3. These missiles have a range of 1100m, 8 second reload time and damage increases as distance decreases (up to 45% more damage).

The keel mothership -deals the same amount of dmg as orion before nerf (if player stood there for the entire thing) -cannot miss -also meant a nerf for orion -classic pay/pigsonic l

Those hurricanes are basically op because the range and homing capability of it is so unheard of

Range yes but the homing capability not really "unheard" of. Spirals and Hydra also fire like these weapons but I think Hydra might be more intelligent. I remember when Spirals and Hydra were buffed the angles at which those missiles came down was pretty ridiculous. For example one time on Shenzhen map I was hiding right against the wall by the big archway and was still hit - the missiles were firing straight up but nosediving down and hitting me. These definitely would not hit me based on the angle I was seeing.

I got demolished by these from a Typhon yesterday across Valley. Someone had a full quad of them at 2.12; just destroyed my MK3 Raven. These will get rebalanced.

This is like another version of an OP weapon, just like the reaper. With this you can basically hit anyone on the entire map even if they go into stealth.

I wouldn't use it personally. Doesn't do enough damage for me to be considered a "top weapon".

This is definitely a brawling or camping weapon if you want to get campers you need to camp or push up to them and brawl these weapons will be good for me in my TDM Hanger I can stay back as artillery or I can push forwards also brawl when reds get close awesome

Yeah, this was probably released as a counter to the meta bots specifically crisis and lynx. It's their business model.

@@rowankeltizar5961 I can see it counter Crisis but not Lynx. Honestly though I think you're better off using weapons that can charge your mothership quickly and just use either Orion, Monarch, Thor or Keel and just keep striking Crisis. It's cheaper and more effective.

Poor hydra and spirals 😢 I don’t even know what Pixo is doing with these weapons, if it’s supposed to be at all like the homing missiles of the old days, or if they’re just gonna overwrite their past weapons (it looks like that, I just hope they rebalance the prices because hydra and chimera are still t2 t3 weapons for some reason)

On the test server that weapon was broken because it was one shooting specters but on the live server it does ok

Do you have them !? It looks great on a video but I played against some an they op also. You can just stay behind cover an bomb. No skill. And you will be comp every game standing still

@@cortneyjackson6899 I don't use new items, and no, I don't have these weapons. I haven't played against them but I could imagine them being annoying, but I have a lethal sniper build so I'm guessing I'd have a chance to take down someone running hurricanes.

I honestly support these weapons. You can see them coming and they have simple counters while still being very powerful much unlike reapers or harpoons.

I find it map dependent. It works great on the open maps. And it's good in TDM on all maps but dead city and the boat map. I use shield breaker over QR.

Hey bro So regarding typhon ability damage, you trigger it to early , by the time it hit enemy your damage is gone, I recommend you not pressing ability until you start firing your weapons , Second point I noticed your biggest issue in first match was aegis sheild, maybe use thor

Also about the Typhon's ability. I use to do that sometimes before but then someone told me Pixonic actually changed it to where you couldn't do that after firing your weapons. I guess they changed it back or maybe it wasn't mean't to be that way?

These hurricane weps are the counter to reapers by not needing line of sight.

Technically you don't really need Hurricane weapons for that. Just charge up your mothership and either use Quantum Radar or wait until the Crisis fire then hit them with an orbital strike. Crisis robots are very fragile and one strike will probably get that Crisis down to half health or less.

This is the best weapon to counter everything! Players who rely only on ability and distance who don't really do anything to help win games will now have to change up their game and have to move around. Players who sit in 1 spot for the entire battle are to be at fault for this, rely on prisma lasers? Here you go, it's time for you to play with your teammates!! 😂 I'm glad they did this

Hello adrian! The think that you Don't do that brust damage beacuse it need skill and a perfect target, on titan it's worthless. I think this weapon can do alot damage with skills like atleast 5 to 7 millions if a robot last longer until the match end.

It's only effective if you have 4 of them at MK3 Not effective in MK1 LVL 1 - 8 unless you're playing against slow bots in the lower ranks. It doesn't do enough damage.

They have dropped in damage a bit on the test server they where more powerfull they not that bad actualy and might be a good Fafnir build too missiles for range and the Fafnir's built in weapon and shiled to back up or push forwards I think these might be good on a leach or Fafnir

@@Not_Sure_ your right I think gone are the brawling Fafnir days so Im using it as a sniper bot using the sheild to move to better shootinf angles it's works ok and if they get close I can back up with the shield and blast them with the built in weapon it does not always work as close range always has a bigger damage out put but I'm sniping in TDM and as for firepower mobility it's great protection not so much it's a glass Cannon for sure I don't recommend using the faf this way but I'm using what I have any way I can and its not recommended but it is effective

So with this weapon I think they need to design a couple maps With very little to no places to hide. I've been wanting that three years ago actually. Just make one map in all games, where campers can't camp. But it's so frustrating between the Newton,The hurricane and that, I don't even know how to pronounce it or spell it ,orochicoco??? whatever the fk it's called. There's no point playing until you either get those robots or wait until the next "Nerf -Buff Cycle". Smh. There are no other mech shooters like this. It sucks because I appreciate the gameplay when everything is "fair". By the way f all you Whales! Jk 😅

Pixonic is just trying to scam people again. This will give an actual counter to the Creaper builds but once they nerf Crisis or Reaper or both this weapon will have no purpose.

Reapers with the crisis is poop. It's too op. I watched a guy get 20 kills. Even with quantum radar it will kill you b4 you it. Unless you have reapers also you better have as many as the crisis bot an just as strong. Your nothing should be a master an champion level bot

Both of those are actually going to get nerfed so I wouldn't be too concerned about them at this point. Also to say I'm "nothing" and should be in Master or Champion. I've actually made it to Champion League before using MK1 level 6 bots. It's always funny when players say I don't have skill - I think it's more out of jealousy most times. As for killing Crisis, there's so many ways to counter it. What you speak of is more likely to happen on larger maps. Bots such as Ravana for example are really annoying to deal with as a Crisis player because they keep using their Transcendence. The other thing which I'm sure you probably haven't even thought of - using your mothership to take out Crisis. If you have weapons that charge up the mothership relatively quickly like Redeemers, you can use even something as simple as a Dreadnought mothership to keep using orbital strikes on them. This way you have range of 1000m and can hit them from behind cover without having line of sight.
