why transformer rating in kVA not in kW or rating of transformer is in kVA or power rating of transformer is explained in detail. The initial section explains what is power rating of transformer. The next section explains why transformer rating in kVA not in kW. Basically, the losses in transformer is the reason in this case. 3 kinds of power 1. Apparent power kw 2. Actual power kv 3.reactant power kvR, So that manufacturer doesn't know what type power will be used by transformers

@@LearningVibes Thanx, I follow you from Egypt Can you help me in choosing the right contactor for 1.5 HP water pump, single phase? The pump switches on 7 seconds and switches off 7 seconds regularly according to the water pressure . what's the suitable ampere for the contactor to be bought? and what is the right ac grade to choose? Ac 1 , ac2 , AC3 or ac4 ?

@@LearningVibes From pump nameplate P1: 1.3 kw P2: 1 HP 11/1: 5.1 A Volt in our region 220 volts. Note this 1 HP pump that I have now I want the suitable contactor for it.
