So if the nameplate of a motor shows 100W, power factor and amperage rating. Is that 100W just the active power and not the apparent power? This subject has always confused me but your videos are helping me understand things a bit better so thank you.

so, the KVA of the AC source needs to be higher than the load voltage of the AC motor to ensure the AC motor will operate correctly?

The two (2) cores are wound in opposite direction. Indicating an ADDITIVE transformer?
