Detailed Overview Cars Land at Disney California Adventure 

The detail Disney put in to this is absolutely jaw dropping! It's as through the movie was actually live action and just shot here, haha.

I absolutely loved when the sun went down and the neon signs all started popping on! Great video highlighting the day and night experiences in Cars Land!!

I love Radiator Springs. Cars is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. Can't wait to go!

HJ is going to Cars Land in one week. She is so excited, I cannot even put into words. She has waited since they opened to go. She entered the contest to go, didn't win, but that's ok. We are going now. Her most fave movie in the world is Cars and she love Mater. Love this video. Did I mention she is a special young lady :)

I was there in Jan. 2013. Very atmospheric, like stepping right into the movie. Tow Mater and Luigi rides were fun. Radiator Springs Racers had eternal waits, and FastPasses were sold out within an hour of opening, so I didn't go. And, what were all those kids doing there after Winter/Christmas Vacation had just ended? No wonder they're illiterate by the time they get to me in college!

Welcome To Radiator Springs

While I'm not the biggest 'Cars' fan, I must admit, Disneyland Resort did a terrific job of bringing 'Radiator Springs' to California Adventure! The authenticity and attention to detail of Disney's newest themed land make me want to return to the parks this summer that much more! And even though lengthy wait times are expected for 'R.S. Racers', 'Luigi's Flying Tires' and 'Mater's Junkyard Jamboree', I'm biting at the bit to see it all in person!

One of these days I’ll take a roadtrip there on the real Historic Route 66 to get me to Disneyland even I’ll take some parts of I-40 to get along the historic highway and hope to someday see the inspiration of Cars land when I go someday as well.

This is how a "Disney Experience" should be. One thing Bob Iger has done right in his era of the company is making sure the parks look amazing by giving P&R/WDI more money, pushing for the reinvention of the already known to make it feel both fresh, yet nostalgic at the same time.

It was a parking lot years ago. But when California adventure first opened this was where a bugs life was located. Took it all out and installed the cars Theme along with redoing the entrance of the park

This & Buena Vista Street is what Imagineers can do without their financial wrists tied. These are beyond improvements. They're immersive, inventive and fun. Buena Vista has class... a worthy first act that compairs to Main Street. Now it's time to gut the giant climbing structure and build another E ticket. It needs to be a one-of-a-kind. Not a clone from another park. Also the corner next to CARSLAND, behind the Tower of Terror needs to be included in the next phase. Walt is smiling.

I'm going to be there on the 23rd! Can't wait!

I went to disney land while this was in construction They didnt let you see what was there because the was a wall, but you could see that massive mountain thing. Its pretty crazy that they made that.

life is a highway. I wanna ride it all night long

I went to California adventure on opening day of cars land and burns vista street in the afternoon but luckily I have a VIP pass so I didn't have to wait as long. But I only had to wait a half an hour for RS racers but an hour for Luigi's flying tires and I tell u they have a really slow operation of getting people on and off the ride. And u have to move the tire around with your own body wait.

On my god this is incredible! Five year old me would be screaming lol

So many grown adults whining like babies about the rides! Do these manchildren realize that, just because they live with their parents well into their 30's, that doesn't mean children's rides based on childrens movies are meant for them? My 3 year old LOVES every single thing about Cars Land. It's perfect and worth m premium annual pass just by itself!

the Casa Della tires look like a remake of the old Flying Saucer attraction from 1960's Tomorrowland!

I doubt it's a "Hey us Orlando people want that!" type of scenario. I'm sure the main motivation behind the replication of attractions is the interest of company owners. They see that an attraction brings in visitors and excites guests in one park so they can trust that it will be successful in another, and they also save money and time by not having to design new things. It's really just DIsney increasing revenue, which i doubt they"ll stop doing for the sake of keeping things personal.

It shouldnt be only about the rides when you go it should be the experience..you get that! Your supposed to feel like your in the movie in radiator springs witch was only stores and restraunts...this is not six flags!!

Ya and pay extra!! i have a premium pass best one they sell and the wife said it was 60 or 70 bucks each to get into the preview. You had to have a pass first then pay that on top off it. makes sense they couldn't let all the pass holders in California adventure is so small

I don't know if you have been there since saying that but I can tell you one thing this must of been early in the morning when they let hotel guests in an hour early because it is never this empty ever! It's a MAD HOUSE! The line for RS racers hasn't been shorter than 2 hours since its been out its usuallly 3 to 4 hours long
