Another important thing to mention is that we know which members of the Legions of Stationary are seen: Members 1, 2, and 4. You can tell that Tape is the fourth boss because it's guarding the Purple Streamer, and the Yellow Streamer is in World 3.

The JP website says that Olly turned -" Kami-sama "- , the gods of elements, into Origami and that Olivia can fold herself into then. You obviously knew it already, but wanted to point the origin of this bosses.

The menu layout has a similar feel to that of Super Paper Mario, which means there may be a way to access a Quick Menu version of it (like in Super Paper Mario) which would allow us to access some options on the fly!

The "white Muncher-like enemy" looks to be a Nibbler, which is a small plant enemy from Super Mario Bros. 3 that jumps when Mario tries to jump over it. Cool to see it back.

My theory on why there are so many coins is that coins are both a shop currency AND xp. They could be exchanged for more health or more accessory spaces at some sort of shrine or something.

Remember for those thinking that these bosses are gonna be fast and easy because of the folded arms ability. You don't have to use it. That ability is optional because you have to land on the symbol for it, so you could not move towards it and have the boss battles take long resulting maybe with a greater challenge.

I heard you mention the Thing items, I actually had an idea for my own Paper Mario game that uses the Things as its version of the Star Spirits or Crystal Stars. It elaborates more on the concept of the paper world and a physical world existing simultaneously that Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam touched on a little.

I wonder how the level up system would work, because this game has screenshots where there's more hp than in color splash, and that had 200. The one-up above the hp bar could show something, but I can't wait to get this game

11:12 Just realized Mario is using his hammer to attack flying enemies. Typically flying enemies can change their height after their turn ala 64 and TTYD or lose their wings and become ground like in every paper mario game yet I haven't seen any footage of elevated enemies (not including the bosses). Given the camers angles it may be hard to show elevated enemies too...Just a strange thing I noticed. Also Bobby's attack compared to Mario's expanded moveset seems rather underwhelming for this battle system. Mario's "default" jump and hammer now hits multiple enemies where as Bobby's attack is just like 64 and TTYD partner bob-omb default attacks. Either he's probably just there for an assist and Mario will be doing the majority of damage per turn (which is the most likely case for all partners in this game) or his moveset may start off pretty basic and expand later. Either way hopefully there's an upgrade system for partners.

The fact that he got almost all of these right both amazes and terrifies me

I have to wonder if the partners thing was a sticking point between Nintendo and the design team. With the exception of Olivia and the bombomb. All are pre existing characters which has been a mandate from Nintendo only to use pre existing characters, unless it's absolutely necessary to make a new one. Even the bomb has no unique look to it other than the lack of a fuse. Prof. Toad is juat Captain Toad in yellow, Kamek is the go to magikoopa, and Bowser Jr is in everything now.

I have actually started to get to a point where I'll be playing-I kid you not-MARIO MAKER 2 and see some swirls and go, "Oh, cool, Zonai!" Or the swirls in Sonic the Hedgehog being "Green Hill Zonai." Or literally just some furniture that has some swirl and I go "ZONAI ARFIFACT" I'm clearly fine,

I dont know if i heard thtis before or if im mixing this up with botw2, but based on my fuzzy memory, this game might go dark and maybe the angel toads are the remnants of toads that were killed (this adds to NBC’s theory that bowsers castle is in the sky chapter, so maybe bowser or olly killed them)

Maybe there will be a Luigi dlc where you collect the castle keys or something.
