In this video I detect an old track that connects two hoary villages. Music: NotaBene Contact: www.notabene-musik.de/styled/ Metal Detector: XP Deus V5.2
Hello friends, I hope you're doing fine! I had to detect this track I found close to the picnic area. I hope you will like the video! Please help me and my channel by liking and sharing this video. Thank you very much! all the best and greetings from Frankfurt, Hans
Thanks for a new video. Love thinking of people tramping between villages avoiding the muck hundreds of years before. Good night from Queensland, Australia
Another great video! I have a question, I watched your coin cleaning video and was wondering if that's how you clean your wafer thin silver coins? I found one I'm pretty sure is silver and it's very thin. Can you put them in lemon juice to clean as well?
Hi Hans, great to see you again! You have my like and my subscription. I began watching your videos back when I lived in Germany and stayed a fan ever since. As an ancient coins enthusiast, I'm always rooting for you to find ancient silver (or gold) coins :) Anyway, thanks for sharing your videos and keep up doing your great work!
Guten Tag Hans, I was once a US soldier in your beautiful country. I was stationed in Frankfurt am Main, 1987 - 1990, at Gibbs Kaserne on Marbachweg at Giessener Strasse. I have many fond memories of Germany and hope to one day return as a tourist. Thank you for sharing your wonderfully prepared videos, they are as entertaining as they are informative.
Haven't watch the news or bought and read a news paper for 35 plus years vargo. Word of mouth from knowledgeable trusted friends. Too much mis/dis information with press info. Excess over thinking/ over analysing, separates the body from the mind, for me. Nothing like country living to 'ease the burdens'.
I use these detecting outings to distract myself. I also stopped watching the news and I only do things that are good for me. nature is the best healer. I'm happy to hear my video helped you to get back to a peaceful mindset. that's a huge compliment for me. thank you for your kind words!
Your video production is amazing Hans, it deserves better attention. I've been watching your videos for 3yrs now and still can't wait for the next one.
There he is, "the coolest dude on You-tube!", 20 minutes with 'Hans' is time well spent! & I'm just so Appreciative for it! during these difficult times.. Many Thanks! :)
Hans it is wonderful to see you again and near the picnic place. I love the buckle, I'm so happy you found it and didn't it clean up brilliantly. The little ring is a sweet find as is the little painted bell. I always feel sorry for the child who lost their toy, it was in a state but the ground isn't kind to them sadly. 2 coins from different decades though I prefer the older one with the ears of corn. Another great video Hans with so many shots of the views and the natural world, especially the deer and the beautiful poppy. Take care and stay safe please my friend Mary-Ellen UK
hello mary- ellen, I'm happy to see you back in the comment section. thank you for staying tuned and for your support! it was a nice variety of finds and I love the unexpected ones. I'm glad you like the items :) thank you for watching, take care too and all the best, hans
I appreciate your eye for quiet natural moments as much as I do your detecting finds! This is a great channel. Please keep the videos coming for a long time.
A real treat after days of murders and riots here .in my country is to walk with you in a lovely countryside. Thank you, Hans. Good luck to you, as well.
Good hunt...and as always I love your snapshots of nature. One of my fondest memories of Germany are the wild poppies in the fields and the dark pine forests. Can't say I ever saw a deer there though. I think wildlife in Germany as well as here in the States have come back in numbers since the sixties. Thank you again!
Thank you! Wonderful way to spend a day, do what you love. The expectation of what such showed up in the form of a beep then the excitement of what may be the in the hole always has me captured. Again Thank You for the beautiful trip.
Thank you Hans, enjoyed the journey with you once again, interesting finds, the 1700s shoe buckle cleaned up very well and probably shone like silver when it was worn. Nice to see you had a friend, no doubt very inquisitive as to what you were doing. I look forward to your next search, Good hunting, stay safe, DP.
Thank goodness for well mowed footpaths to search, with all the dense/tall summer 'greenage' about. Lovely pewter buckle! A good day out. Stay safe Hans.
Another brilliantly put together video, I always look forward to your postings. I do not metal detect, but I love the History involved and too hold things in your hands that have not been touched for sometimes many hundreds of years, must be amazing. Keep up the grand work.
It is a beautiful spring day. Here in Maine USA too, it’s fun to see that we have the same kind of insects across the deep blue sea. Thank you for your attention to beauty and detail.
Hans, enjoyed your visit with us today. You make thee smallest find important and I enjoy that. You are so pleasant and calm. In the world today we need more calm and pleasantness. So nice see so many people from around the world enjoying your finds. The buckle was most beautiful. Looking forward to the next adventure from South Carolina .USA.
Hans, the buckle was awesome!!! In my minds eye I can see it on someone's shoe in period 1700's clothes. They are strolling through the forrest on a mission. 😃😃 Perfect!! There were a few personal items found on this hunt. Definately a good day!! Thank you so much for sharing! It made my day! We are slowly creeping outdoors here in Florida! Nice to see the sky. Take care my friend and stay safe. 😃😃
It's so beautiful .. I just hope that the one who lost the buckle didn't have to take off his shoe to continue walking... I'm glad to hear that a bit normality comes back into your lives... let's hope that this madness is soon forgotten. thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend :) all the best and stay safe too, hans
Your finds are wonderful ones! My favorite being the shoe buckle ☺ Such a variety of items that we find in the ground and usually when we move of of the beaten path. The ring, the lead toy soldier, the coins and the bale seals along with the great shoe buckle find all made for a really good day of hunting!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hi Hans - far and away my favorite videos are from you. I noticed you have the new XP Backpack. I have one as well, and love it. Can’t wait for more videos from you, all the best Rob
I so enjoy your videos! A great day for discovery! I have passed up some doubtful signals but you have got me thinking..... maybe it’s time to re-visit some places to dig!
Oh, Hans....very nice video.... calm and serene. The deer was a lucky capture. Nice fluid movements through your different angles. You make it look effortless, good job. Continue to stay safe and healthy.... hugs, big guy. Beste, Anna
hello anna.. it was very windy and I was happy that the wind muff of my mic did a good job in avoiding wind noise. it wouldn't have been a calm video otherwise :D thank you for watching and for appreciating what I do :) all the best and stay healthy too my friend!
I really enjoy watching you find whatever you find. Thank you for bringing us along. PS the bell is my favorite! I don't care if it's old or new. I just love bells.
Love your videos - I was put on to you by Detecting Somerset. You clearly put a huge amount of effort in - the clever angles, the beautiful framing, the music, the wildlife ... and the finds! Well done, and keep up the good work. PS I have a great friend who comes from Saarbruicken and you speak just like him, which brings back good memories!
Hello Hans from Washington State , U.S.A. Our poppies are blooming here at the same time as are yours ! I imagine a dancing child lost the painted bell,, on her way to a social occasion. How many times in the course of a life do we have something dear to us and then suddenly it is gone,,,,,,,,never to be seen again,,,, by us,,,,, somewhere that child ,,, in spirit ,,, is remembering that bell,,,, and she knows that you have found it!
Hi l enjoyed it very much my friend , your videos have a special quality not just the filming but very much the whole feel of it , you add the magic so very natural too. thank you Hans . steve UK
I am sure that your digging shovel has been commented on before, but I would like to say that it is quite impressive. It looks almost like a Medieval weapon. Cheers and good fortune to you sir! Thank you for another video!
Quality video as always Hans. Watched you from the early days. So enthusiastic. If I’m not detecting, I’m smiling watching your videos. Happy hunting. Mark (North Wales)
Thank you Hans. I look forward to every video you post. Always excellent content and you are so enthusiastic and the production is so professional. Stay safe and happy hunting. Mark
Another great video , amazing work with the camera . Lovely deer , i can watch a couple wondering around not far of my house in Manchester area . About 10 years ago i traveled to Frankfurt airport , and then by car to a small town near Stuttgart , i will never forget the amazing landscape , loved your country , hope one day to go back. Stay safe Han , you and your family .
Hallo Hans.
What a lovely, green location. The young deer is so sweet. It (she?) really let you video it for a long time. So glad you found such a wonderful shoe buckle. You cleaned it beautifully. I hope you are well and can return to work soon. May God bless you, Hans.
Some very nice finds; that shoebuckle in particular was a good one, and the lead toy reminded me of a little shop I found in the Rhineland-Pfalz region somewhere when I lived there a couple decades ago that sold tin casts of some of the old lead figures, many of them from 17th and 18th-century molds. There was a gorgeous little traditional 'Teufel' (devil) tin figure that I picked up just because it was so different-- I remember that he had one human foot and one hoofed foot, and he was wearing Lanceknecht clothing. Your photography, as always, was just gorgeous; it made me miss Germany very much!
