I don’t hate modern Conan movies. I just hope they explore something different in each movie such as the police system in Zero the Enforcer, rather than using popular characters as a selling point repeatedly.
I love the old classic movies but, still enjoy the new ones even with the increased emphasis on action scenes. My favorite new ones would be the 18th movie, 20th movie and the 22nd one. But my all time favorites would be the 6th, 5th and 4th movies as I have watched those the most especially 4 and 5.
As someone who likes to see when Richard Moore is competent (and only watched the english dub) the 14th target would be my favorite though the 4th movie is also very good since it focused so much on his family and heck the first one's train sequence drama really gets to me for reasons I'm not quite sure about
I really love phantom at baker street Its one of the best one because i finally got to see a part of conan/shinichi where he looks worn out or emotionally damaged after slowly watching the people he cared about disappear before his eyes, and becoming friends with a dead child who wanted friends
Man you’re so underrated wtf?! I subbed immediately btw would you mind doing a video about akai and amuro the like about the spies in the black organization and stuff like that ?
@@BestestGrammar holy shit u saw this 😂😂😂 damn thank you ! I just always get confused with who’s evil and who’s not. it’s a big headache so yeah thank you so much and good luck with that !!♥️
Aaaa, you're so underrated! I've been really enjoying your videos! Your unique views and analyses just open up my eyes and help me appreciate more things about Detective Conan. I haven't watched all the movies, but your comment on the movies becoming more action-oriented really made me think about the Lost Ship in the Sky and the Quarter of Silence especially. I felt like the plot was full of holes and the story and culprits didn't really resonate with me on a deeper level. The action was great and exciting but the execution wasn't really done well. In Quarter of Silence, I picked up a theme of friendship but Conan did everything himself at the end. The culprit's motives were weak and nobody really did anything except for Conan (and KID). On the other hand, I finished watching Strategy above the Depths last night and it was a stark contrast. Although it did feel a little flat like you mentioned, the plot, motives, and characters shining in their own ways was really impactful. With this, do you think the story-action balance also applies to the current cases in Detective Conan? I also feel like character development has stagnated. I'm still pretty new, so I skip constantly from old to modern cases so I don't really have a feel for it but I have heard some fans complain. Nothing can really live up to Moonlight Sonata and Cactus's Flower murder case for me.
To be honest I do have a favorite movie ,but when it comes to detective conan movies I like all of them , because a focus on different things in all of the movies, I've watched all of the movies multiple times and if they release a new movie I'll watch all of the other movies in preparation. Sorry for my English , it's not my first language.
Alright, u got some tood taste with the first favorite movie xD Edit: alright u got me on the 2nd one, its also my 2nd fav lol Edit2: that number 3 surprise me, for me its either the strategy above depth or the magician of the silver sky, i just like the way kogoro become better character in strategy above depth while magician for me because kaito Edit3: alrigtht this is good review, and so im subscribe to u xD, also i kinda agree that detective conan movie went downhill during either the full score of fear or the one after that
