I think the post credit scene hinted at another game in the series. It looked like he picked up a suspicious scent. The start of a new case.

Probably 🤔 but isn't the plot the same as the 1 movie being as one Pokemon I wonder there gonna change it to make it different enough from the first movie also didn't tim meet his dad at the end of the movie with Pikachu unless they took away tim farther or tim farther had to leave to protect his family from the bad guys that could work and ask Mewtwo to hide his body and put it on Pikachu body like in this game seem like alot steps to do i just want to see the movie 2
