I’m more on team Jessenia than team MJ. Maybe the edits didn’t show it, but I wish Jessenia would have joined Katie and spoke up when Victoria was there and didn’t wait for the self proclaimed queen to leave to stand up vs MJ who didn’t have Victoria or Anna to back her up.

I think Victoria thinks she’s done nothing wrong. I feel like MJ knows she screwed up and is acting out to hide it bc she can’t back down. She saw Anna being sent home for admitting to bullying and Victoria too, so she has to deny to the end.

I think she knows... and it's not even about knowing. It's so obvious she is playing a given role (too bad for her). And since she is an acting-skills-free individual, everyone who has an eye for it, sees her pathetic attempts. I just laugh

What i find mad is that victoria is 27 and still doesn't know better. They are acting like a bunch of high schoolers. MJ should be better at 23 as well but at that age I feel like this is a time alot of people are still realising what they need to do to mature more.

The producers are really pushing the mean girls to attack the mature girls who have exposed them for bullying. I feel it’s going to push Katie to the point where she eliminates herself next week because of the drama. Other than Bri, Abigail and Katie (need to see more romantic connection with Matt but doubt it with more drama) I can’t really see anyone else being the next lead. Unless we go back and find another cast who is great like Tayshia is.

Agree, a lot of people are comparing this to Peter's season because of all the drama but I feel like Matt is handling things a whole lot better than Pilot Pete did.

Yeah, I feel like she's tone deaf. But at the same time I feel like her cattiness is moreso out of immaturity and not just straight up spite. She apologized on insta stories to Sarah and I personally felt like it was genuine. I think she has some growing up to do but definitely not as bad as Anna, Victoria, MJ, or Serena C.

@@bethanymclean2136 I totally agree. I definitely get more of an immature vibe from Kit than a intentionally malicious vibe. Still not a cool way to have been acting, but I don't dislike her the same way I do the others and it's good to hear that she seems to have grown from this experience and is owning up to her mistakes and apologizing. And the "it's hard to be rich" angle was worded badly but seemed like the point she was trying to make was that growing up in the spotlight like that had xyz negative affects on her and her ability to have relationships that she has recognized and is trying to be vulnerable about and work on which is totally valid.

Yeah, there's a chance that the conversation was edited, but I also felt that way. Either way Abigail seemed happy to get the group date rose and if she makes it to a one on one I'm sure it'll come up again

I don't watch the actual episodes so idk what he actually said but maybe it was more of an admission that while he can't fully grasp the struggles of being deaf or raising deaf children he does understand the hardships of a single parent family and has no intention of walking out on his future kids no matter what?

I’m still not convinced it’s not an act. Obviously it doesn’t matter because the hurt she has caused people is real but I think her motivation is to be famous and talked about, rather than being that genuinely delusional.

They managed to have drama just fine during Tayshia's season! But it was fun to watch, not serious, and got balanced out by all the great convos & moments of actual connection between the lead + the guys. It's like ABC just forgot the whole point of the show for this season

@@katattacksweetheart Totally agree. I’m all for drama but when it’s this much, it’s not fun to watch. It seems as though when they produce The Bachelor, they forget they’re creating a show to find love for the lead. But when it comes to The Bachelorette, they seem more focused on the love, such as in Tayshia’s season. Maybe as viewers we need to be more vocal on mature contestants on The Bachelor and maybe they might listen

The idea that just because someone is privileged means that they don't struggle is baffling to me. Maybe being cautious and only being able to let down her guard with her mum is an issue to Kit. It may not be as serious as Abigail's fear of a partner walking out like her father did, but it could be something that builds up a lot of walls.

I used to have an ex boyfriend who was deaf and he always struggled in group situations because it's a lot harder to lip read. He often faked it just to avoid embarrassment.

@@iansurya2985 It doesn't make your hearing just like a normal person. It's hard to explain. A normal hearing person can filter out background noise and focus what they want to listen to. With a hearing aid everything is just louder and all scrambled. My ex was an expert lip reader but the person had to be directly in front of him, not off to the side. Group situations were really a struggle. He was really good at faking it though. He'd just pretend that he heard the joke or whatever and most of the time he got away with it. So everyone asks... why didn't he just tell people? Because often they would start talking really loud, basically yelling at him and become much more animated which just made things worse because the sound becomes distorted and harder to understand. Besides that, all of a sudden you become a spectacle which was really embarrassing so not worth it. He just wanted to be treated like a normal person so he hid his handicap as much as possible.

I always say that he has “nice guy syndrome.” The girls get insecure and come to him, so he assures them all one by one that they’re special to him and he can see them ending up together. He has at least three of these conversations each episode! It makes me wonder if he’s actually ready for marriage🤔

I actually felt that Anna was minimizing what she did a lot, not really holding herself accountable. just the language that she used to describe it... always the passive voice, and kept saying it was out of character for her. and then when she apologized to Matt, it was all about herself (how guilty and sad she feels, how she's breaking out in a rash because she's sooo sad, etc) instead of how she started a life-altering rumor about another woman on national television. if she felt so guilty immediately after bringing the rumor up (like she told Matt), then why did she continue gossiping about it that night instead of apologizing to Brittany? why was she so angry that someone told Matt instead of relieved that she could finally get it off her chest? her whole talk with him just came across as insincere and self-victimizing to me tbh... like she was mostly just upset that her actions have consequences.
