as someone who has 2 children, i would always recommend to keep to big or too small stuff in a box in the attic / cellar and not getting rid of them completely. i am now skinnier than i was before the 2 pregnancies and i am so happy, i kept my old jeans. i do not have to buy them new. but i am also keeping the bigger ones as it is always possible, that i might gain that weight again.
@@FeelingGoodAsHail love your Videos. and i was such a declutterer before my pregnancies. but i am so glad, i kept the stuff, i liked that just didn't fit 😅😅 is a Money saver right now but i also know not everyone has the space to store not fitting clothes...
I'm so glad that you were able to come back to them now! I love the conversation you bring to my channel, I'm always open to hearing how other people approach things like this :) I appreciate it
This video is so necessary and a breath of fresh air. There is definitely a feeling behind every piece of clothing… and we should care about this more than anything else. Thank you so much
I have been thinking like this since forever, the minute i get a gift, its mine and i can do with it what ever i want, the other person doesn't have anything to tell me about it 😂. And i keep everything i love and gives me a nice feeling, the minute i connect a bad feeling/thought/memory with it, its out the window. This happened to me a while back, the perfume and the sweater i was wearing, reminded me of a bad night and i couldn't see them, they gave me the ick😂so i decluttered them and i dont miss them😄
i think i disagree with "anything you wouldnt buy today," because fashion trends often make returns, and it's likely that something that fell out of fashion now will come back in a few years. this also saves you money from wanting to buy clothes of the style again later on. this is only if you care about following trends tho, if you're super into following your own style and you're simply done with a bunch of clothes, definitely donate them
I highly discourage following trends on my channel but I can see what you're saying for any trend-centric shoppers! I like to promote mindful consumerism :) Thank you for watching!
