Alafia (peace) everyone. As always I'll love to thank you all for your love and support and the positive energy you send my way. Please remember my videos and content are NOT for everyone. If what I'm say do not apply to you or your loc journey that's fine but please keep the negative comments to yourselves and allow others to appreciate what I'm trying to do for the loc community, which is educate. Like I always say, "if you don't like my videos or what I'm saying, then don't watch", it's that simple. BIGGGG SHOUT OUT to all my positive Queens and Kings that subscribe to my channel. YOU GUYS ROCK.
Aalafia Yannie and thank you for sharing 😁. I cannot wait to (hopefully) become a client and experience the loc detox and wash! Please note family, she will not tell you what is in her detox or wash. You will have to experience it firsthand. Artists and Masters never tell their secrets 😉😁 Peace!
Hi I'm Jenelle from Trinidad... I recently started following you. This queen is so beautiful. Thank you for being so authentic and straight to the point..
Yannie I use both a towel and a T-shirt 😉 and I squeeze gently just like you said! 😜🤣. Wow The Lady’s Locs looked absolutely fabulous what a beautiful head of Locs!!!!!! A great job done Yannie and your King 🤴🏾 Jimmy. Do you come to London Yannie?? would love to experience your treatment on MY Locs one day please! 😉👌🏾💖💖💖💖😊🙏🏾
Hey Yannie. Shout out from Jamaica. I watch all ur videos and try to follow all ur instructions. I used to be a neat freak but since I discovered u am all about leaving my hair alone. I already killed my edges but I am using castor oil to try bring them back to life. Thanks for all ur wonderful videos and advice. Nuff love ☺️
OMG...her hair is beautiful!. I just did a big chop and have to figure my next stage of growth and how to style it. I will be doing starter locs as soon as my hair grows out. It's less than half an inch right now. Yannie so much for sharing all your knowledge, you are such a blessing!
I love Yannie, I have been following her for two years now, I used her detox method the first year, now I wash my Locs twice a year, I use rose water, Jamaican Black Castor oil and my Locs have begun to grow again. Knowledge is Power. Thank you, Yannie
Nice job!! Yannie, I'm going follow your advice about "The Disrepect". I've cut down on shampooing and I'm starting to notice my locs feel more moisturized. Thanks for Sharing ma'am
Yannie I love you I was having issues getting moisturizer in my locs shedding like crazy increased water changed vitamins. I tried rosewater before your tips it wasn't the right kind. I tried again mixed with grapeseed loved it now I mix with rosewater and jojoba I love it. I noticed significant change this is my 8 month.
Beautiful Queen her hair looks amazing after the detox and I love her accent. Sadly, logic and common sense are lacking. People over think and assume there's some secret. Best thing I've learned from Yannie is simplicity. Stop being a product junkie. Locs don't require much.
A micro fiber towel wrap you can purchase for 4.99 cent's.. You leave water in Dreads, locks, it can cause mildew build up and air dry in the 🌞 is Great
I want some locs but seems like everyone here in North Carolina that has locs have no edges. That is why I'm afraid to get them. They are so beautiful. My hair is think but remains the same length. I can't get it to grow. I'm gonna try the rose water and vitamin E oil. I have been using water and glycerine mixed together Glad I found your channel. I've been natural for 10 years now.
Yeesss! Jimmy’s washes are EVERYTHING!!! I don’t know what I would do without Yanni and Jimmy in my life🤔 Trust... if you have locs and like genuine people... look no further 😉
Yannie your videos make me want to start up locs again. My issues back then (2009-2010-2011) were build up and lint, my locs ended up thinning and becoming hard TWICE :-/ But I'm over here in Belgium and might never be blessed by your skills. I will pay if you start online training classes
She is Beautiful, her crown is beautiful. Yannie you ROCK! For anyone wanting to know Yannie's loc hair care tip visit her website, very informative and useful information. www.locsbyyannie.com/locs-crae.html
I soak my dreads in warm, hot water and add a couple teaspoons of bicarbonate powder, baking soda. 2 lemons squeezed in the bowl,a few drops of Tea tree oil & rosemary oil and you can get all this at Wal-Mart btw. Stir it up good and soak for about 20 minutes. You will 👀 see the water bowl and it's not clear like when you first mixed it up... Then i go and wash my dreads with Dollylocks dread shampoo and you will be like WOW!!! You can also purchase a detox cleanse pack at Dollylocks.com for 20$, I have not tried it but I'm sure you'll be satisfied 100%! Hopefully this helps you out! Dready mike
I love your advise. I like the “less is more” I want to Not have to retwist every month. My hair is soft is it still recommended by you to retwist about 2-4 times a year? I just don’t want my hair to break off.
Peace and blessings to you, a few weeks ago I was physically assaulted and had about six of my locs snatched out literally by the roots. What can I do to help the hair grow back?
I'm so hate that happened to you. I'll suggest black castor oil and peppermint oil for stimulation and scalp massages. If you still have the locs I wouldn't reattach because of that trauma (energy), but patience, no stress and no pulling. Prayer and meditation. I know you didn't ask the community but I pray that helps.
Tomiko, I'm sorry to hear of such a horrible thing happening to you.😳 Did you keep the locs, coz after you get some growth, they can be reattached..I pray you heal. ❤️

Hello yannie. I do my own locs. What do I use to detox my locs the CORRECT WAY? I do have to admit I use products in the past but I have stopped and I don’t twist my hair only 2 times a year. It’s time to do detox. Thank you and you have a beautiful spirit.
How do I get started to loc? I’m currently been doing two strain twist for months now and I’m ready to make that move. Should I go to a loc professional first? Please advise! Thanks
Just watch her older videos. And there was a loc conference she did a few years ago also up on YT. She's speaking in front of audience. It's very informative
Does Yannie recommended African Black Soap Shampoo? The one I use has the follow ingredients only: Aloe Vera, Plantain Skin, Vitamin E & A, Cocoa Pod, Palm Kernel Oil, Citrus Essential Oil, Grapefruit Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Shea Butter and Olive Oil.
Shalom Yannie, I have a question how do we detox our locs at home? Do recommendations Apple cider vinegar, salt, baking soda, or something else at home.
@@TrinaHoward Hello 👋 again Queen, how do you do this? Do you just put the Castor oil on the scalp and then retwist the hair lightly, or do you put it on the scalp and the shaft of the hair as well?🤔
What's the best way to start my locs cause in Kenya waxing is the most used method to start locs. I started my locs two weeks ago through interlocking but when i washed them yesterday they got waxed is this a bad thing?
