The NBA lottery is something you gotta see for yourself. It’s definitely not as weak as some people make it but it’s not that great either. I will say this is the first time picks 15-45 feel pretty even and there really isn’t a bad selection in that range. Not saying it’s bad but the talent evens out there.

Good stuff, the search firm stuff, sounds great in theory but JLEIII in his podcast mentioned it could be nice cover, folks can check that out. I also follow the Lakers, they would want D'Lo back, Trevor Lane who is Keith Smith's co-host on the front office show mentioned they can't get that salary slot back, but looks D'Lo will opt out but they do want him back. The Ham stuff, I hope you can reach out to your fellow Locked On Hosts for the Lakers, the Kam Bros are great, aside from being there, before the Laker job, Ham spent a lot of years as an assistant and highly regarded. But, the Laker tenure wasn't great, the roster did not help but he lost the team and did not clear up roles, not great relationship with Bron and AD, no accountability etc, and you can crossover with your experience with Monty.

Would make sense that Horst would want out after that, but coming to the Pistons where Gores has measles and there have been too many cooks for a long time seems like a move out of the frying pan into the fire.

People keep crying about Monty playing Hayes over ivey...if anybody pays attention...Cade and ivey don't play well together and even though Monty took over as coach late...I think he realized they are not a good fit together...Hayes is a better defender, passer and didn't turn the ball over like ivey...his only problem was his shooting and it seemed like he lost all confidence in his offense period...and in hindsight the troy should have drafted Ben matherin because his game fits better with cade and hes a better defender and shooter than ivey...but I understand they drafted ivey because he really wanted to play here and with his local ties with the city...but he and cade don't play well together.. they only had one big game with both of them scoring over 30....now everyone thinks ivey should be traded..go figure

At that point in time, Cade and Ivey had only played 11 games together ever, all in the prior season in which Ivey was a rookie. Somehow the genius knew it wasn't going to work and decided it wasn't worth giving two highly talented and developing young players the opportunity to develop, adjust and work it out together. We are much better off starting guys who shouldn't be in the league right?

Yeah and they played the second half of the season together and had one great game with both of them playing well...and now people see that they are a bad fit together...and it looks like the consensus is that ivey is the one that's needs to b traded

@@maxjulianthegreat313 Brother, he had pulled the plug on it after 11 games and a rookie season. That's why people were 'crying'. We don't even really know if his reasoning at that point in time was because 'it doesn't work'. And yes he continued the experiment in the 2nd half of the season, right after he lost the team. Remember the confidence thing you mentioned? And if it wasn't for that 'meeting' with management he might have stayed on the bench. Maybe you're right and it doesn't work. Just don't think we've gone about it the right way.

I think you saying for Ham that you don’t want him just because he has Detroit ties is funny because that is the main reason you do want Tobias. Personally, I don’t want either. Monty to the Lakers would be great for him as LeBron coaches the team as Chris Paul did for him and the only way they don’t have a decent season is due to injuries. And the biggest bonus is he won’t be coaching the Pistons.

I think Hartenstein is probably a better overall defender, and it seems Mitch Rob gets hurt a lot, but either one would be a massive upgrade over Duren so if I can't have Hartenstein I would happily take Mitch!
