Love your takes brother. I truly hope we don’t trade Deni, he is an ascending player on a great contract, and you never trade those types of player. Who is to say that he breaks out this year and his value is tripled next year? Deni is a core player here imo.

Brandon, Good podcast tonight. Tristain Vukcevic has another attribute that you did not mention: his passing ability. He's not as refined as, lets say, Jocic, but that aspect of his game is far superior to the average NBA center. Specifically, Vukcevic has a noticeable advantage over both Bagley and Sarr, which can open the door to playing with more motion and facilitation with the ball, as opposed to the Wizards' typical "iso style" we have gotten used to the last few years. I believe that if we draft Sarr and Vukcevic demonstrates the promise and improvement we anticipate, Bagley should be traded rather than re-signed during next year's Allstar break, as his and Sarr's games overlap in many ways.

Sarr would be fine, although I think he's a 4 in the NBA, not a 5. They better trade back into the lottery for a 5 if Sarr is the plan at #2.

@@davidsmall4773 I think the plan is to not spend money in free agency. All we really need is the same thing we have always needed, defense and rebounding. I hope Atlanta does take Clingan because Edey fits the Wizards pace better.

OK, I’ve been putting an idea out there all day of a three team trade between the Hawks, the Spurs and the Cavaliers, which were totally makes sense for all three teams involved Spurs would get pg Darius Garland The Cavaliers - get. Pg Dejounte Murray C- Onyeka Okongwu Hawks would get Jarrett Allen And one of the 1round picks that they trade in the Murray trade back from spurs then hawks would draft Zaccharie Risacher number 1

Don't try to guess along with the Hawks-- they got into this mess with having a 6'3" guy and Chico DeBarge as their backcourt. I can understand taking Sarr- at 2 (he may fit well with Vuk)-- but I want at least one of Castle and Holland. If trading Kuzma gets it done, OK. But if trading down gets one of Castle or Holland and another pick this year or next, you have to take that chance. I want some guards and wings who play D and dunk on some people.

love the content bro but i have to disagree 17:25 you cant win a championship with 2 bigs being on the floor at the same time look at the teams in the finals. both run with two 6'9 wings that rebound and a paint protecter. you can look at the twolves and there two bigs but it only works cause of ant man. we need more wings and guards, you can win with a gafford and a kristaps, all guys that the league had been down on and on reasonable contracts

Keep Bags at Center Tristain V is a future Porzingus..but keep him coming of the bench behind Sarr.. and back up for for Bags..Keep Richuan Holmes as a Center for 1 more years..draft or pick up a young free agent back up Center/PF like Sandro Mamukamlashvi (Spurs)..Resign Bags if he can stay Healy and consistant..

The problem is this - Avdija + Sarr is amazing, but Poole will kill both their developments with his low IQ, same goes for Kuz. So Sarr+Avdija is a thing to build on, but JP+Kuz are development killers. A problem.

Bagley is an average IQ player at best, Vuc is a very high IQ player, no point having both if you draft a center, let Begley go or sign and trade him fo a quality pick.

Let me respond to my own post because I don't want to be some coward who goes back on what I previously said. If the Wizards draft Sarr, they will become relevant than the Hawks in two years, perhaps sooner. The Hawks are showing to be one of the worst organizations in the NBA. They are going to learn probably very quickly that they fucked up.

@@shondarby-mcconnell1502 I do watch him play, which is why I know he doesn't handle the ball well especially in transition, he drops the ball a lot and crashes into opponents too much to be a shot creator, his strengths are in defense, floor spacing and the post, he does not need the ball in his hands consistently for any of that.

@@bigead I'd dissagree. In college with the Huskies, Clingan almost exclusively worked around the dunker's spot, so we did not see any mid-range or parimiter shots as part of his game. From that aspet, Clingan is evern a bigger questionmark than Sarr, who does have the basics of an outside game , is more athlitic than Clingan, and only needs to work in the weightroom some to close the edge over Clingan completely.

@@israteeg752 I hear you. Yeah, I admit Sar is far more athletic and a much greater upside than Clingan. However, Clingan is more NBA ready now. As a Wizards fan, I'm not really trying to wait 5 yrs to get back into playoff contention. It's definitely going to be at least 3yrs for Sar to be a solid contributor.

Also don’t forget Will Dawkins has familiarity with his brother, Olivier Sarr, who went undrafted to OKC in 2021. Another reason why Sarr to DC makes sense
