December 20, 2021 - I can confirm this works on Xbox One AND I found a safer way to get into the room WITHOUT Icarus Dash! You drop inside the closet size bathroom with the tv. You drop onto the second room just below where you drop BUT you have to be on the opposite side where you drop. You go to the door and play cutscene, easy! Less loading and less hassle

yup, just did it an hour ago lol. Nice workaround to the patch. Just make sure that you don't travel to anywhere other than southern Prague once you make your way to the train station through the back, or Vega will call in with the message
did you try to walk into the bank first? I got to the call from Nomad, loaded latest game and went back out of the bank...followed the video and im getting the call from Vega as soon as Mission 11 is complete.
If you do this glitch don't stop to do the secondary quest to unlock your augs or you will trigger it twice after finishing the bank quest and it will freeze your game if you go talk to Keller a second time (PS4). Do the Bank quest and then you should be able to do other quests without issues.
I see some people are having trouble to go to the room through the roof, but I think I know what is happening. Maybe you didn't pay attention, but you must use the Icarus Dash, just a tap on the button, right in the moment you see the room. Do it and you'll get in, and then you use Icarus Dash again to "come back" to the map properly. Well, we are in 2021 August and it's still working on PS4. :)
7/15/2018, confirmed this still works on Steam! This appears to require both using Radich Nikoladze's special subway access, and using Charged Dash to reach outside of the map.
Thanks a ton man ! You're a lifesaver. This works like a charm. In addition, you should mention that the drop from the roof and getting into that room requires icarus dash within that narrow range of time.

I'm going to say this: I was bloody surprise to see it still works for console. I had no problem doing it. I have both the signal jammer and the Orchid Neutralising Agent in my inventory. Now, I'm hoping it stays there till the end. I was hoping that the conversation with Miller was the Allison version but sadly it wasn't. But after going back to Prague after GARM, newspapers would give me first give me the article where Allison is arrested and after I recheck the newspaper, it will show the Palisade Bank article. The ending where Eliza Cassan mentions about what SMs I did would only include Allison and no mention of Palisade Bank whatsover. Allison would also be in TF29 prison cell and you can talk to her. Most of the conversations I got was about how I stopped the bomb maker but some characters would still mention about the bank. Like half of the analysts in TF29 would say about the bombmaker while the other talks about the bank. Pretty weird. The signal jammer will not dissappear from inventory. I checked it everytime, even before going after Marchenko. :)
Rafael Yeah. You need Icarus Dash to not fall off world when you fall off the building where the dude says you need to save before continuing since there is a high chance for you to fall off world. I recommend you play new game first then new game plus since it carries your skills into NG+. That's what I did.
DestroyerZ564 man this is a great game, I mean they should call it Deus Crack because I'm hooked. But I did sooo much stuff and went so many different places, it's fun, but time consuming. Point is when I finish the game I don't think I will be playing it again...At least not for a long time so which should I do...Rob the bank or go to Allison?
Rafael To be honest, I'd pick the bank heist. If you want to have the best ending, you end up saving Miller from the Orchid. I dealt with Marchenko without the signal jammer using an EMP grenade and a non lethal takedown. Then, I used a security card that I acquired to use the hidden entrance to quickly save Brown and his delegates. [IGN Walkthrough] No fuss. If you took the jammer, you end up disabling the bombs, Marchenko either dead or alive (up to u), Brown and delegates (dead or alive) and the Human Restoration Act being passed if Brown dies or it fails if he's alive. You won't be able to save Miller from being poisoned and if Brown was poisoned, you wouldn't save him if you took your time. Best is the bank heist.
Confirmed still working 3JUL2021 on latest Steam version. Falling off the roof does require some quick maneuvering or using a Icarus Dash right as you drop in order to glitch in to the floor then do the Icarus Dash to the wall cover. Took me about 10 minutes to figure out the timing.
It’s May 2022 and yes, it still works! At first I thought there had been a patch and hadn’t succeeded as I was following the guide so tentatively that couldn’t understand when I didn’t see ‘The Heist’ in my missions list, but of course the mission hadn’t even been given out yet…..silly me. Edit: Even though we get to technically do both (at least for now), I feel it’s such a shame that we are locked out of one or the other of these missions. Sometimes choices in games really aren’t that great. Edit: I’m replaying in April 2024 and it still works.

July 22 still works on pc. After the dialog with allison, tuen around and jump out the window...thats the trick. if not, the cancel dialog with vega will pop up...
The only thing that works (17/06/2017) Ps : When you arrive at the metro take it straight to Nomak. The dense morfol that I am just got out and flicked it all up
Confirmed still working on Steam version as of February 12, 2018. Further, I'd seen elsewhere that similar methods could soft lock the game if the player also tried to complete the calibrator quest. Tested doing the calibrator mission during this method, between Allison and the bank, and can confirm there is no soft lock when performing the quests in this way. Admittedly it restarted the calibrator quest after the bank heist as if it had never been done, but as you already have the rewards the quest can simply be ignored once this happens.
I really enjoyed these games. I remember playing Invisible War. At that time in gaming not much beforehand came close to what it offered. I rented it from Blockbuster and i ended up staying up all night and i had to go to work in the morning. Oh man i had a great time playing it but going to work was painful. Great walkthrough on how to do both missions. Only thing that got me was the alarm in that store (in theatre after breaking wall. The alarm went off. So i just went to the next room on the left. Imma have to take a look into it next playthrough on why it went off and ypurs didnt.
Works as of August 2021 on PS4 (through PS5 BC) Also you have to take the train to the monument station (the one in the middle) for vega to ring you and give you the choice after doing the bomb maker mission
Excellent! Still works, June 7, 2018. DX:MD v1.19 Build 801.0... saw a couple other vids that didn't work for me, they were missing the key part of not entering through the front of the station
you don't have to go through the red light district at all. i was able to enter the train station through the rear, just going through the sewers in prague before the red light district was even open. THE REST OF IT is awesome and I did not know about- hope it still works!
ACTUALLY- just tried it, i was able to enter through the rear but the communicator started right away, So they either patched it, which wouldn't be surprising- or you actually have to go out far away for some reason, and enter though the sewers from the other side of the map. I did it from the place to the left of monument station, there's a rectangular area labelled "courtyard" and it has an entrance to the sewers, you can drop down there and the ladder to behind the station is across the room.
Thanks. Still works with steam v1.19 build 801.0, don't forget that you need Icarus Dash and the heist mission keeps being in progress, but that doesn't matter for the outcome.
Did it today (April 29, 2021) on PC and it works. Save often as you go and be patient. Like Rose Wild said, don't do the secondary quest with Koller until you finish the Heist.
Can confirm that this still works as of October 2020 on Steam (PC). Thanks for the guide! Have to follow both the subway backdoor and the invisible ceiling glitch otherwise Vega's mission failure kept triggering for me. But was able to complete the game with both Orchid and Jammer successfully thanks to this video! Edit: just kidding got my "I Never Asked for This" achievement after I reloaded Steam, even after following this glitch!
June 17, 2024 - I can confirm that this works, but I did it in a safer way, going out bounds to even though the game bug and trying to start the dialogue fails.
thanks for the vid they must have patched it cuz I couldnt get through so I got the diffuser and updated my augs can I complete the heist off a save even though I triggerd alex I know its been awhile hopefully some one tried this thanks
Can confirm this still works on June 4th 2021. Took me a few tries when dropping from the roof of the building, about 7 times I fell through the textures. But I succeeded in the end. Thanks a lot for the tip!
@@Juugo211 you get it in GARM facility in the second area (after those drills) in some locker that has a secret stash you open using a hidden button. If you miss your shot in GARM you can also get it during Brown's event in one of the gold masks weapon stash under a desk, youtube has a few videos for the exact details.
Does work on PS4 in 2023 as I tried it last night. Definitely patch attempts as I couldn’t fall through like you did. I had to jump as I fell and time it.
I can't seem to get near the door to get the cutscene to trigger before Alex checks in. I can interrupt Alex but it feels like I have to walk through the door two or three times before the cutscene triggers. Anybody know any tricks?
