Devant Smart tv power supply failure. 

Hi Tevz, you may remember me from fixing a 32 inch tv reluctant to turn on but eventually would, aluminium capacitors under the shielding surface mounted electrolytic on main board faulty. Got a similar model not exact but on start up numerous horizontal multi coloured lines, yet corrects itself and works fine. Electrolytic caps on main board. I am trying to learn.

I have just finished this modification to a similar tv with blown smd power supply components and tv now works again.Without smps modification i think no person on earth could expect to repair it using the original parts since are hard to find the exact schematic,the parts and finally to work for solder desolder for such a small tiny components.Great video,thanks!!!

Your modification with the STR-W60xxS is very nice, I like it. Sometimes I think you could use some additional flux, but everything what you are doing is good. The camera recording looks nice too, I have tried to make a little documentation, but this is not easy with the light, the free are to not block the camera view and have a good view by myself.
