Thanks for the info. I left the Poconos last saturday and made it to Mendocino California on Wednesday. I'll def jump on 299 after heading north to Avenue of the Giants. I rode out to Colorado on 70 from OHIO. Amazing everything past Denver

it is really sad as you said to see nature so much tortured. to be honest, sometimes I catch myself thinking about beeing a part of the destruction by riding my bike. but i think its much more than this. the states are beautiful. Great to see friends like you a Sandy bustin each other’s balls. Hwy 299 is pretty badass. It used to be better riding from Weaverville to Redding but all the construction made it easier for the four wheeled vehicles to maneuver without all the turns.

You Should have rode Hwy 36 from Fortuna to Red Bluff CA then Hwy 70 the feather River Canyon from Chico to Reno. 2 of my favorites.

As a lifelong camper and dirt bike rider in NorCal, I can tell you that its a fact the number of fires is the same, but the scale has increased only due to state mismanagement of the forests. We can’t even clear all the trails from three feet of dead , decaying trees and brush. The lumber industry would have paid us to thin a healthy forest, but now the taxpayers are paying millions and they haven’t even made a dent. Why some people elect these idiots is beyond me.

The way you've been wearing that helmet looks like there are lots of other helmets available that would work the same and a lot lighter. I know, it's a infomercial thing, oh well.

No, you just don’t get it. It has nothing to do with the infomercial. We rode 8000 miles over a period of three weeks in all kinds of climate and temperature situations. I used the helmet as I needed to. Most of the time when it was hot, I had the chin bar up and open, when it was cold and raining, I had the chin bar closed. There is no proper way to use that helmet as you may think it’s a modular helmet and you could use it anyway you would like or need to. But it is by far the best modular helmet in my opinion on the market.

I currently have a Shoei Neotec 2 bought in 2018, should be replaced,, and a Shark evo GT, witch is kinda soft in the chin guard dept. , and it sticks in the 180 position, can't pull it back down. I'd love to buy this Helmet, unfortunately, all sold out in XL. I want the carbon with the cardo pre installed.

Bro, I think a good idea about future road trips, is to make a video before you go, detailing exactly where you plan to be riding through. Alot of us viewers have SO MANY hidden gems, to ride. Places to see, maybe off the beaten path, but amazing wonderful rides none the less. I'm from central California. Heading back east via Reno, means you were a 2 hour ride from Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. I don't know of you've ridden these before, but brother, it's a bucket list ride. Giant Sequoia and Redwood trees at high elevations. Temps in the 70's while down in the valley it hits 100+. Not to mention all of us subs could recommend the best places to get some great food. My favorite place to swim on the planet, is a spot called the cliffs. Just inside the southern entrance to Sequoia National Park. Not a bad spot to get off the bike for an hour and cool off, in a placecso beautiful you'll never forget it. Then drive down into Visalia and get some thin sliced marinated tri tip steak sandwiches. These are the experiences that you really get impacted by. I'm thinking alot of us would love to share these epic places with you, to enjoy like we do. Just a thought, thanks for all your videos. I love 'em.
