don't forget that the rus gain gold by hunting animals, so your scout can kill wolves and deer all over the map and you'll gain gold from it. also since there is no decay you can kill deer quickly if you need the gold fast and don't have to worry about losing out on food

Hes a proplayer he did it in one go; you can check the minimap and see that its the same game all thorug the video. He has the gametimer turned on ( midscreen ); the only important parts of the video are the second TC 2:45 , second Market 4:13 , third TC 6:15 and third Market 7:09 .

In the stress test version the market had the buy and sell icons in opposite positions to aoe2 so that is something to pay attention to.

am I stupid or can you basically buy and sell with this with quite some profit? first make tripple sell at 100% rate, if buying rate does drop by this below 100% you can abuse this heavily, if not you can still buy back with 1-3 markets at base rate (if you just temporarily needed some extra gold)

The one thing I don't like about aoe4 is the camera zoom. I think either the buildings are too big or the camera is too zoomed in.

seems like you can have batching training of villagers (produce multiple villagers at the same time) in aoe4 (see 4:20). How to make this happen? I tried to shift+click to select once and 5 units are quequed but then they are still produced one after another, not at the same time. resource issue? but at 4:20, the resources are not that high though. any advise?

That wasn't batch training, that was two TCs both being selected both producing villagers.

I think I will stay with aoe 2 because somehow these parts in 3D do not convince me, but if someone wants to play 3d, I recommend Ancestors Legacy. It is a pity that aoe 4 did not go this way when it comes to graphic design.
