Imagine that prestige 100 hunter even had Doug Cockles voice. Skin looks great at least. Might wanna pick up the grind again after stopping at prestige 24 or something.
Sounds cool, but it would be awful for the game. Imagine being able to tell exactly which player and loadout is out of the fight based on death sound…. No thanks.

Every hunter has the same “uhhh” and “ahhhh” Gendered of course but having a new grunts wouldn’t give anyone an advantage beyond knowing a different skin is being used If you can’t tell by gunshot noise already you wouldn’t be able to ascertain anything useful by the change
@@PirateR4ptor I have Prestiged to Prestige Level 1, and i've got way too many Hunters i've built to my liking for me to ever be willing to lose them by Prestiging. Building them the first time was damn hard enough. The price for Prestiging is too high for me to ever do it no matter what I would get in exchange. :(
I liked the grind to be honest... Now they really need to remove half of the custom ammo from some weapons. ITS geting to the level that weapons are no specialized and you have everything on anything.

They've blatantly said that tier 2+ high level hunt dollar bought hunters will now be locked behind bloodbonds and named, they're literally just locking old free reward (being high level and buying a tier 2+ hunter) content behind a paywall, making free money for nothing. Greed.
Many Turkish players are experiencing access problems in Hunt. especially in trio games. 1 player in the team definitely cannot participate. Crytek did not make any statement regarding this. And they did not solve the problem for 7-8 months.
I love everything about this. The prestige and unlock system changes recently have made the game unplayable personally and I’m really looking forward to coming back. Thanks for all the positive changes and clear communication, Crytek. ❤
Bro they're cutting out old free content like tier 2+ unique looking hunters and locking them behind a paywall. This and the blatant ripoff cod ui design (made to draw in shooter genre players, to make more money). This is greed, unnecessary and annoying. Nothing about this ui is better and takes several more clicks, cuts out information and locks free content behind paywalls. This is gonna be the lowest point in hunt yet. Just gross.
Why, why is everything scrollable horizontally? For PC players it's a huge set back in UI navigation, for controller pressing up/down instead of left/right to navigate a menu is no different, so going with horizontally scrollable sub-menus for loadout selection and hunter selection from roster is an unnecessary annoyance, and instead of saving up on clicks we will now have to click even more to get to where we want, not to mention that scrolling vertically with a mouse wheel is x100 times for intuitive for mouse and keyboard.
The custom ammo unlocks are what was stopping me from getting all my favorite weapons every prestige: to much grind. Now with this new change I finally will be able to play with lemat variants ever now and then.
@@thatonethief I had 40 to do so I guess i did get the extra blood bonds. It took 4 days straight but hey if you tried them your still a winner in my eyes. 😊
i did stop playing since the beginning of march. the game just didnt feel good for me anymore. i got frustrated fast and quit the game. all those Dev Update Videos are making me rly happy that finally theyre chaning something for the good. i rly feel like im getting hype almost. because the game looks like almost a new gaem to me. im happy :) thx Crytek, thank you David Fifield🙂
I like the new direction, BUT.. I’m starting to hate special ammo. It’s cool sometimes, but constantly being set ablaze, poisoned, etc. just gets annoying. I mainly see poison every single game and with the nerf to Antidote Shots it a turn off and I get bored after a couple of games. Hopefully it goes back to skill and not dependent on ammo. Although, with that being said I don’t see an issue with High Velocity or FMJ because you actually have to hit your shots for those to matter. Just my thoughts..
Yeah custom ammo is a bit too prevalent and also kinda mandatory now as it's basically just a straight upgrade in most situations. It also kind doubles the price of some weapons and also everything got more expensive while rewards from games aren't the best. The game had some weird shift in meta and economy for sure
@@MrMozkoZrout - I don’t mind it being in the game, but is should be balanced better. I think if special ammo costed a lot more or was only found in raid would be an awesome balancing factor. At least when it comes to Dum Dum and Poison ammo because those two are basically meta at this point. Then again, I stay in 4-5 stars so I don’t know what the 6 Star sweaty boys deal with on a day to day basis..
Love all the changes, the recruitment screen looks much better and seperating hunters from all and free is alot more organised, rarity levels for hunters helps identify higher quality skins 👍 some hunters having their own appearance progression is a cool idea looking forward to seeing that 👀 the new hair shaders look great! I love seeing the visual quality increased in Hunt, no need to unlock custom ammo is such a relief, weapon progression menu looks good the action menu's may take some getting used to but will be better over time and Trials rewards and John Victor might push me to go all the way to Prestige 100, well done Crytek 👏
it wouldn't be so bad if they buried them in the maps - maybe you can find a treasure map in a building, and dig up a chest - blood bonds, game money or skins inside.

I think that's not possible. If you hear a death scream it should not be possible knowing which hunter exactly died only if it is male or female so they won't do that. But I for myself would appreciate that, too. 😁

Adding stupid rarities to hunters is just going to subconsciously make people choose the rarer hunters to play with. Why use a basic bitch when I could use a fancy mythic hunter? Such a dumb idea.

agreed. most of us already got buncha hunters to choose from, and buncha weps to choose from. aint prob never picking that wep/hunter anyway. seems like a bit of a pointless reward. Could've rewarded your most loyal players with like 1k BBs or something at least....
Bro I am mad that everyone just gets the trial skins for free too. As a prestige 100 I did everything the game had to offer. And now I gain a skin from a tutorial which I didn't even play once. It's kinda a slap to the face for every OG that grinded to prestige 100 before easy mode
Oh i kinda expected them to rework the prestige system like they promised a while ago. Like kinda changing how it works or adding some more features to it to freshen each of your playthroughs, offer some unique customisable content or whatever. But nah they left the prestige the same only stuffed it with rewards from trials and skins of tier 1 hunters lol. good job
I stopped prestiging after the first prestige back in 2018, because I simply didn't see a point in it. In the meantime, some of my friends got to around 20-40 prestige, before also stopping prestiging a couple years back. Given that I have about 2.5k hours played and am sitting around 1.4 milion hunt dollars, what inscentives do you have for someone like me to start prestiging? If I start now at prestige 2 losing everything, knowing that if I kept on prestiging, I'd be sitting comfortably around 60-80 prestige, it's very discouraging.
2:22 I really dont like the idea of seeing only a single loadout for a hunter and clicking through 4 hunters to compare them and having to remember which hunter had which loadout. pls decrease the icon size and show the equipment, traits and health bars traits of all hunters at the same time.
Well that actually gives the prestige system more of a purpose. I might finally prestige again after sitting at 5 for over 1k hrs. Would lose like 30 lvl 50s and 200k dollars though lol
What's going to replace the trails' legendary skins and blood bonds for players who have already completed the trials before the update? it's not fair for older players to get less things just because they experienced the feature first.
I've been talking for a while about how cool would be if the game has a visual progression, for initial hunters who have been sucessuful in their hunting, and they become more experienced with visual traits of their evolution, this is awesome!!
well not only you lol, they wanted this as something of a feature since day one. Initially they even wanted to make the hunters customisable and later they wanted to make them evolve. That idea was even on their old roadmap but it got all scrapped at one point and now its coming back.
can we get an increase in Hunter Slots? i wanna have 1 of each legendary hunter (rare hunter?) skin maxed out. i currently have all 75 slots and they are full with LVL 50s so i just reuse the Headsman. id love to be able to increase my number!
“Rarities” for skins is stupid in any game in general but especially for hunt. Being able to callout Tier 2 and Tier 3 hunters is extremely useful and not making that distinction anymore sucks. The UI has me extremely worried. Not only from the last video, but especially how applying skins is shown in this video. It looks extremely convoluted and cumbersome, with way too much visual interest convoluted menus that are not offered at a glance. All I can hope is that it plays better than it looks
Will there be any compensation, or refunding, for the difference in blood bonds for those of us who acquired all of the hunters before the lowered prices?

I'm sorry, but you guys really need to overhaul the UI for this game. Looking through all the hunters and weapons with a single scroll feature is just not it. I hope you continue to address and improve this.
yeah its basically looks just as clunky, if not worse. the weapon stats display looks the exact same, the weapon list is the exact same just a huge list of rectangles, except they look BIGGER now. theres an ugly right click menu thats just a list of words.... really baffling.
I quit this game near prestige hundred because of the direction you guys have been taking it. Continue building base mechanics and bosses (not just repetitive weapon variations), and the increased revenue will come through growing player base. The point-based events and extreme skin sales were only cool for a season or two. Complicating a menu COD-style is not going to improve this game either. The increased movement speed was a final straw
the "rarity system" is something this game does not need, and i feel the devs will use it to raise the price of certain skins. as if some aren't already absurdly expensive.
And lock old skins behind paywalls. This greed is getting absurd and they're just trying to milk every dollar out of the children who want the next coolest thing.
I just don't wanna see it affecting the variety of hunters you see in match. I can see most players limiting themselves to only using mythic hunters coz 'shiney'.
The rarity system already exists in the game and it doesn't really change any existing functionality, it just makes it more understandable to new players. It's understandable to be concerned, but it's not actually any under the hood change - just UI/UX that is more easily related to other games.

EXACTLY THIS! It should be something like lvl 1-20 is T1 looking, then 20-40 is Tier2 Looks, then when you reach 40-50 your hunter looks like a Tier 3. So you know that guy has traits and probs a sweaty loadout and perhaps is trying harder than the guy in the blue shirt looking like farmer and bringing romero, nagant.

I dont like the cosmetics rarity. not only does it look bad with all those colors in the menue, it kinda feels like a reason to charge more for the 'very super awesome' skins which they do already but now it could get worse
yeah that is all there is to it. Before the BB skins in the game did cost like idk 600 BBs and the newer ones kept costing more and more and DLC hunters became way better deal in comparison. Later they removed for players to earn BBs ingame properly, limiting it to 50 per week through those dumb challenges and they still kept releasing insanely expensive BB hunters. Freaking Corvid costs 2000 BBs. So yeah now they have a system that will justify all of this and will introduce some standardised crazy price categories. Also kinda cute how they are basically selling to us the tier 2 and 3 hunters as skins, very smooth.
I certainly understand everything, but is it possible to give PC users an adequate user interface, and not these huge icons requiring horizontal scrolling, etc.? And the hunter selection menu, why does it cover half of the character model? Crytek, what about hiring competent designers?

I think, people want to see step forward, but now we can only see jump backward and rarity for skeens, wich is totally unneeded in this game.
Yeah it's kinda funny. Like the freaking screen that you tweak your loadout for the free hunter takes up your whole screen and has so stupidly big boxes. It means you can see only one loadout at a time. While in the current UI u can see all available free hunters and their loudout right under them. This is a straight up downgrade lol

@@saverx1775 You can finish all the trials in less than a few hours if you're good at the game, or honestly just decent. A single prestige can easily take over 20 hours of playtime, so I'd argue prestiging multiple times is much harder work than finishing a few trials.
Don't feel the new UI is any easier than the existing one,if anything info is lost amongst unnecessary sub menus.. And what's happening with the Book of Weapons/Monsters?

That doesn't make them money. Duh. This entire update is greed focused, anything to make them more money. They're locking all current non tier 1/free hunters skins behind bloodbonds and "naming them" like legendary hunters, just making them free money from kids for nothing. Disgusting greed.
But why would I press the prestige button if I have almost half a million hunt dollars and the system gives me 8 thousand hunt dollars to spend when I press it? If it wouldn't take away the hard earned little money I've farmed over the years I'd still be interested, but this way.....thx but no thx.:(
How is it bad? Genuine question, I really don't know how it can be harmful on its own. It just looks like a new form of labelling to me, if anything, it looks beneficial to me to put together the tiers of generic hunters and the legendary ones and allowing us to choose whichever we want
Its a classic psychological manipulation tactic for monetization. It'll allow them to charge more for skins because they'll come up with arbitrary labels and go "wait guys, this single skin is $40 because its MyThiC WOOOAAAHHH" @@Echolaliaxu
Rarity doesn't belong in this game at all, it makes people want to use whats considered "Higher Rarity" compared to what they actually like, plus none of the skins are exactly "rare" anyway since you can drop $20 on the game and get anything that's not an event exclusive. (Edit) it seems that a lot of you missed the point of this comment, I was simply stating that a rarity system does not belong in this game and should not be added. To those in the reply section saying "I just use what I like regardless" I want to point out that with this comment I was not speaking of any individual person more as It was to the gaming community, as there are a lot of people who care more about the rarity of a skin rather than if it even looks good.

The more i see from the Ui, the more i dislike it. Pushing a console CoD copy pasteed Ui on PC players might not be the way.. I need to click on every single "free" hunter to see their loadout now instead of having it all on one screen..
So what happens if you have completed all the trials but haven't progressed far enough into prestige to unlock those rewards? Do you lose those items that you have already earned until you grind prestige higher? 😢
Please just keep the recruitment menu as simple as it is right now! Theres really no need for more than 2 clicks to get a hunter! Also I liked the hunter tiers system ;(
you have to agree it was all pretty confusing though, especially before getting your hours up on the game. menues should be naturally intuitive and self explaining, and in my opinion they just arent right now.
@@oscarandersson2818 agree. everyone is complaining just because it's new, but the old menu was objectively a mess. and it wasn't quick to recruit either, you had to go to recruitment, then go to the category of hunter you want, and if it's a legendary scroll all through them to find it. The recruitment was very far from the equipment menu

@@drycattle That's not what he said though, he said the progression system is being reworked and the monster tracking system is being reworked and is not yet ready. The only thing we know is that come August the Book of Weapons and the Book of Monsters will be gone. And given what happened to the Louisiana Scrapbook I think we in the lore community are justified to be worried that history might be repeating itself and five years of narrative are just being unceremoniously dropped.
It just allows them to price hunters according to how much work goes into their design. Cheaper for base hunters while more elaborate hunters will be more (not sure what "more" is yet)
Why do keep changing a great game to the worse!? I won't give you hard time about the UI you already heard enough about it. Why change the random Hunter names? The had soul and flavour. There were already Hunter for the Marvel/Hero generation the legendaries. So no need to take the awesome random Tier 2 and Tier 3 away.
Rarity over legendaries, what a shame. Random names is so much better for recruiting hunters, new blood always comes for the hunt, now it’s just same old same old. Some changes are nice but feels more directed toward those who don’t want to experiment with different weapons to unlock ammo variants, why is that? Playing different weapons toward special ammo and variant is part of the hunt experience, why does this update makes it so boring?
