Hey Nic I absolutely want CW and the Bears to ball out and dominate !! My only concern is that when CW is pressured he tends to scramble with the football loosely in his hand. Tends to fumble when that happens. I do believe that can be coached though ?? Your Thoughts ??

If you have a chance to make the offense right with Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze then you have to go in that direction unless you have a chance to draft John Alt. Poles should use next year's draft to help the defense because there should be more highly ranked defensive linemen and the Bears would have more draft picks.

Definitely would be willing to trade #1 to Washington for a big haul. I would take McCarthy at 2. What a team we would have with him and with the bolstered extra high draft picks for this year and next year.

Bro, I think more than anything it's just due diligence. Its respectful. There's absolutely so much time between NOW today/yesterday and the actual draft night that it would be unwise to fully guarantee ANYTHING! Any scenario could come up that has daBears going another way than with most everyone assumes is picking Caleb Williams at number 1. Temper your expectations!

The only way CW ISNT selected 1st overall by the Bears is if another team literally gives up its draft future for like the next 3 years. How is this super exciting news.? Chicago Bears General manager Ryan Poole has made critical mistakes. This mistake trading Justin Fields is a huge mistake. Cabe Williams is a rookie that hasn't proven he could play in the NFL The defense which he played against in college wasn't top tier team. He hasn't proven he could make plays in the NFL. Justin Fields has proven he can make plays. Granted Justin Fields has his flaws but he is proven playmaker. Justin Fields doesn't bring character flaw. Cabe must be wat better than Fields in order Ryan Poole to keep his job.

I do not feel either Eberflus or Poles have a clue how to build a winning team. yes, draft picks have fallen in their lap, bad coaches have come and gone, and some good signings coupled with some bad. More experienced GMs and HCs are doing as much, or more, with less. I'll shut up when the Bears win more games then they lose. I would bet on the Steelers with Fields and one of the best HCs in the NFL.
