Enemies in DMC4 are more memorable than in 5 in my opinion, but god damn I hate those chimera merged enemies, specially fucking assault + complete backtracking with Dante, going from like 100% dmg output (nero) to like 30% with Dante :D
I think DMC progressively granted the characters more power (in the hands of an experienced player) than enemies can deal with. 5 has so many overpowered AOE attacks, plus sin devil triggers. 3 feels like the most even playing field.
@@praisemidir its not a lie, let me explain what i meant. Neros moveset covers wider area and has higher dmg- just his stinger move with max exceed cleans mobs effectively and gives you instantly A/S rank in encounter, plus he has buster moves on mobs and bosses. Mission10(11) Nero is pretty strong, then you switch to Dante and mission 12/13 Dante sucks as he had new moveset an he is much weaker against crowd, has no devil arms to switch to even with reusable souls from Neros walkthrough and now you have style switch which takes time to master . Your crowd control, easy S-rank and ultimate boss wrecking moves are gone, royal release is nerfed as well. Yes once you get gilgamesh you can use dt distortion to finish bosses faster or spam lucifer etc., But initially switch to Dante hurts and you play same levels and bosses.
@@noctsickversus9632 no i mean exeed timing with nero. but i think dmc4 dante requires alot more skill in general to use than dmc5. dmc5 dante is a bit braindead in gameplay with his op quardouble S SDT
@@praisemidir you meant that he have 2 devil triggers and the second one basically gives dante so much hax that he can wipe out the arena with a single "move" ? Yea
Sir, It is an honour and a priviledge to watch you play DMC. If you can, please do a full walkthrough of all DMC 3, 4 and 5. I would totally watch it all.❤❤
I'm confused. In this video, outside of combat, Nero dashes immediately like in 4SE. But in the Dante videos, you take longer to sprint like in vanilla. Did you switch versions mid-run?
Yes, I did. Each version has good points. In my opinion, Vanilla's good points is that Gradius (sword enemy) has no parry system and that Dante is easier to handle than in 4SE (This may be only for me though). A good point of 4SE is that as you know, all characters in 4SE can get skills to dash immediately, which enable players to enjoy the run of the game more comfortably. And so I chose suitable versions for each mission.
I genuinely don't see the hate in dmc4 its a good game and mediocre at worst maybe i am a bit bias but gameplay is fine story is great and music is pretty good idk man this doesn't seem that bad to me
