same here, which is crazy cuz dante must die mode is still a pain in the ass for me on most missions other than the vergil fights. i got those down packed
@Oni Rey Ah, those guys. My strategy is, of course, a Nero-based one. Roulette spin, Calibur, Buster, Payline, Hard Way, Charge shot. You know Cavalier's forward swordmaster input also has a special form in Devil Trigger? A bit like how stinger is buffed, but it just lasts longer and hits a bit harder.
@Oni Rey Wow, you can do that? They're the enemy I have the most trouble with, and I could use some advice. My Dante strategy is to use Royal Guard until I can use Revenge, then after Revenge use Quick Drive or Cascade. Alternatively, I jump and use the Gunslinger skill for Kalina Ann. My Nero method is to attempt a parry (usually with a backwards Gerbera jump), then use Hard Way followed by Buster, then either Charge Shot, or if I have Ragtime, spamming it to just loop Buster.
You forgot one level. An in-between for noob and pro. Novice. The kind of players that learned to use other moves and experiment with other styles, but still aren't quite the weapon/style switcher, and can still make blatant combat mistakes. It's that moment when the player no doubt has potential to become a pro, but it's anyone's guess on how long it would take. Still, their skills would run laps around a noob, even though they'd look to pros for inspiration and guidance.
That's where I'm at right now. I struggle with switching and quad s but I can royal block/release, keep in the air, and beat Vergil without sin DT, only take a few hits when I miss time something. But I'm still looking at guides, trying to s rank SOS missions.
@@Darkboarder4 Same, though I've cleared out the S ranks for up to SoS mode, and am currently working on Hell & Hell (skipped over DMD because I wanna make sure that's the last difficulty mode I clear). V's missions on HnH are a BITCH to S rank, lol.
@@blueferal8626 Not necessarily. A noob is someone who, by and large, can play the game on a normal/Devil Hunter run fair enough, but makes enough mistakes (such as button mash, miss opportunities, or rely too much on "launch" moves) that it shows they only know the bare minimum to get by in the game. A Pro is someone that has likely S ranked every mission in the game, and can competently style a decent amount of time, but can still make mistakes here and there (especially on DMD difficulty). The better majority of us are in between these two catagories at varying stages (either clearing more than just Devil Hunter well enough, or in the process to S-Ranking missions, and everything in between)
How New players see Vergil -The Final Boss! The strongest challenge How I see Vergil *Royal Guard personal trainer* Update: - Calls Vergil a personal Trainer DMD Vergil: *Don't get so cocky*
@@_kenjitx1_590 well technically no, he just wanted to find out what rebellion could do while he held sparda, and found out what it could do, he accepted his demon side in an earlier DMC game that i forgot which title it was, but as soon as he had DSD yes, he did achieve it, but its called swords formation though
I mean, he gave it to Nero because he was worried he could lose it, die, or even get stolen by Dante at some point, that's why. Vergil said "Hold onto that until then" which indicates that Nero really needs to hold on and protect the book until Vergil and Dante get back because they trust Nero on Earth to protect it.
I mean, considering Vergil told the old man who first gave him the book that he had to write his name in it to keep Dante from stealing it, you could infer he highly values the book. It was likely one of the only things he had for a very long time after the tragedy. And barring the woman in red, or his other family, that's the one other thing he holds dear. And outside of the concern of dying or having Dante filch the book(likely a childish concern but valid enough in his eyes), this is a Vergil with the growth of V. So to leave it with Nero is Vergil trusting his son with a memento of his legacy, but instructing him to hold onto it for next time is a soft acknowledgment of and declaration of respect for Nero, his strength, and his determination to not fail. Probably the most amount of respect Vergil could show anyone at this point in life since he seldom speaks in a kind and respectful way to anyone.
What I've been told: "The shotgun is a good basic ender or even an advanced combo extender if used with some select moves that-" Me: "Haha shotgun go BANG"
Same, I'm better than the pro they showed but not hacker level. Certainly not donguri level aka God Tier. As Nero I even somehow no damaged Vergil. I didn't even know I did until I saw my score was 15k, I was so happy
@@CasshernSinz1613 donguri is in his own tier so is sakaki the are prob the same in skill donguri let's vergil fly and sakaki tricks in front of him and RR him
Noob is so acurate for me I didn't die whole game And then Vergil fight started and I had to use 2 gold orbs... I was thinking like "is this fight much harder than rest of the game or am i doing something wrong?"
I'd say I am an average DMC player. I like playing as Dante the most but I am not capable of performing very cool combo mad like moves or anything of the like. I just play for fun and Dante is hella fun.
Yeah dante a lot more fun than nero because nero moveset is small an because he's only packing sword and a devil breaker but dante damn is arsenal is so op.
I play dmc5 like three. Only two guns and devil arms. I stick with somewhat basics like DSD and KC along with DKA and the pistols. I'd say I am more towards pro. But the thing that holds me back is my constant ability of always getting it.
Noob is literally me when I played dmc v. I was on the phone with my friend and all he kept hearing was 'EEEyah" Not only did I die about 3 times to vergil and more on other bosses but I was on human difficulty as well lol I suck at this game
Back in vanilla DMC 5, the highest skill level I was the best at was pro and I was trying to reach the levels of hacker. But since DMC 5 SE came out, I haven't touched Dante in two years now so now I'm most likely at noob status. But I am proud to say my Vergil is at hacker status. (I got a PS5 back in May of 2021)
Is this actual footage of a noob or someone pretending? I was laughing my guts out amidst the pain and cringe xD After seeing so many godly combo mashups I thought myself a noob but I guess Im an average pro :D
@@SSSmokeStyle I actually felt that it had to be fake, real noob would be using either gunslinger or swordmaster (because trickster would be useless in their eyes). Also they wouldn't refuse to use a continue
The noob one happened to me when I was played dmc 5 for the first time, and then I learn how to do royal block properly and suddenly boss fight become so easy
Not to brag or anything but my gameplay was near identical to we saw in the beginning of the video, ok yeah that’s not good but I’m getting better, I’m working on Royal Guard and can generally beat a Queen Empusa without getting hit it avoiding attacks, which isn’t very impressive but I’m still proud of my progress
I'd say between Pro and Hacker? I'm not so confident in my combos though, they seem too basic. I really like Royal Guarding Vergil and I can fight him decently until he goes into SDT, than it's anyone's guess If I beat him or If I continue fucking around with RG and get killed myself lol.
lts so sad to see now most popular action rpgs are just gatcha button smashing. l feel the true action hack and slash genre is going extinct. l think about games like Oneechanbara ,Ninja Gaiden,or God Hand. How many gaes we had with this level of combat complexity in the last 5 years? Not even 0.1% of the ammount of senseless "builds with rpg elements" like elemental damage and all that shit. lts all dps and button smashing, thhis all this kids can do
Noob: plays on controler but still not able to reach to S Pro :uses controller and gets to SSS rank Legend:uses keyboard and mouse and able to reach S rank Ultra level God legends:uses keyboard and mouse and reach SSS rank by doing combos Edit: I am a legend because I play on keyboard and mouse and still managed to get SS rank
1 yr late but once you beat the game you can replace dsd with sparda or rebellion and once you beat SoS you can buy a skill called irregular customization wich lets you have all 3 swords on and both cavilere if you have the inv space to equip them
Well to be honest am in the noob place but I did beat vergil without the gold and red orb so but the time was bad I didn't die but the time was 16:00 or more
Where is the class: I don't have the PS4 or i have a PC but i have an bullshit graphic card and run the game and goes slow motion with 10 fps but at cutscene's 5....?
So my survivability is more towards pro buy my styling is rather between pro and noop. I definitely style quite a bit but some things I dont do that would definitely up my ranks like the quadruple S or hail storm which I frequently forget about. Ya know?
So...in all honesty...I thought the noob game play was honestly just a joke and nothing serious but....then I saw youtubers and streamers play the game...and now I see it
Bit of advice for anyone who feels like they suck and really wants to get better The Void is your best friend Come up with strategies/combos for particular enemies and keep practicing until you're satisfied I always use it to warm up before I go into any mission For Nero and Dante you have _plenty_ of ways to go about dealing with enemies What works for somebody else might not work for you, experiment Word of the day: M O T I V A T I O N
