Maybe you deflected a tonne of projectiles because of the release cone around you and the combination of boosted release damage and multiple stacked projectiles was enough to Merc him on the difficulth you're on? It's the best I got other than "shits bugged lmfaooooo"
For those of you who don’t believe me that the difficulty was on son of sparda, it’s at the very start of the video, the difficulty is shown on screen on the right, just thought I’d put that out there.
same thing just happened to me in a way which proves it’s some nards ass damage it does. it happened to me on dante must die difficulty (which has the tankiest enemies and bosses), and vergil was in his sin devil trigger. not just that but I don’t even think it was a perfectly timed royal release. u can check my vid for proof if u want. my guess is that sometimes (extremely rarely, and not intentionally) the damage of the royal release multiplied by the damage of the summoned sword so just one deflected sword insta kills him
@@hakumenkaiyetachi8508 There's a glitch where sometimes when you royal release to deflect one of Vergils summoned swords, it does like 3000% damage of a Royal Release.
@@hakumenkaiyetachi8508 heaven and hell is the easiest difficulty because all enemies die in one hit so u can just spam guns. hell and hell is the super difficult one I think you were talking about
@@hakumenkaiyetachi8508 yh enemies have son of sparda health and aggression and u die in one hit to anything, but u have 3 continues allowed per mission, so if u get hit 4 times u have to restart the mission.
