@@MaximG. it makes sense since V (Vergil's literal human side which definitely makes him Vergil as a character) clearly loves Poems. And that book definitely does not have magical capabilities but just Poems. Makes you even wonder why such book is in his possession and why he left it to Nero (he's gonna be reading it definitely since it's the only thing left from his family and Nero treasures family). It also explains why Vergil speaks in a poetic way.
basically the grain of sand is the smallest whereas the flower is greater being heaven, the palm of yours can hold a large quantity of them, well it means that you can claim all, if you spend the time to collect them
It may be really slow, but controlling Nightmare is actually super fun. Especially when you fight against bosses like Goliath. Just turns into a giant demon slugfest.
@@Ashhley_the_shawty What I normally do when I want to control nightmare is DT Shadow, control Nightmare and use Griffin myself. Because Griffin's attacks are chargeable, they're easy to do while controlling nightmare.
Now that I've actually gotten a good look at it, that Royal Fork move really should've been the dead giveaway. The canes looking like Summoned Swords *and* that hair flip he does afterward? Nobody should've been surprised when he finally 'fessed up.
Griphon did that skill when he was in his real form before being betrayed by his former master Mundus. the lasers belongs to Griphon. i know cronologically dmc 3 is a precuel but in order of games launch...Griphon was the first boss in the dmc franchise in use a laser fan. one tip dont showed in this video....griphon orb laser can follow target enemies when you target them....not only close in the groung but close in the air.
Vergil is clearly changed after his experiences as V. He'll still remain power hungry and stoic, but he might show more positive applications for those traits.
It was handled poorly, revealing he's Vergil in mission twelve of all times. Or revealing he was Vergil until Vergil reappeared at all was a really bad move.
Capcom could always bring him back somehow in non-canon material. Just like Vergil in 4SE, who had obviously been to Fortuna at some point in his life but there's no reason to believe he ever had a confrontation with the order of the sword while he was there. But they said fuck it, let's make him playable any way because fans like him. And there's nothing wrong with that
Uh how so? In SL he does a lot of cqc in addition to his summons, while V is a cripple with average arm strength? SL guy uses his dudes as tools in addition to being a powerhouse to add to his already OP-ness, while V is fragile in comparison and summons are required to stay in fight. Idk I'm over thinking this a tad bit
If they do make a DMC5 special edition i hope they add Phantom to V's move set as like a small spider the size of a mouse that latches on to V's shoulders his arms and his back Possibly leaving tiny spider land mines and shooting magma silk at enemies and using its tail as a short blade I also think for the final Vergil fight they should add the dimension spheres when Vergil is flying around in DT form trying to dive down at you like in DMC3 when he disappears and alot of the spheres follow you in the final fight
Hate to break it to ya but phantom can't be part of V's moveset because if you read DMC5 before the nightmare it shows phantom is not feeling to work with a pathetic human like V which he tries to attack only to lead to his upcoming death
@@vampirepumking9941 lol i love how they added that part in it explains alot but still it would be cool as a unlockable within special edition as a what if possibility but now that special edition has been revealed it looks like V can switch into Vergil and vice versa at the players will so it very unlikely phantom will appear unless they do a prologue chapter based on before the nightmare
@@taylorgabriel1412 weird, I know I tried that many times when the game first came out, is it a random chance? Or is it always supposed to happen? Gonna have to make a point of it to reinstall the game.
@@taylorgabriel1412 Thx, mostly just very glad to finally see some proof about this move existing. Back when it first came out nobody could tell me wherever it was a glitch or a real move. Was doubting the entire time wherever it was a glitch, my brain just seeing things, or it actually being a move not listed in the moveset menu, lol.
