Devil's Dyke - 4/8/23 - 2 hours in the air, speedbar not connected, 600m height and great views

@@jacquecilliers i might not be the only person who likes to go along for a ride on the wind, even if its just cruising.

I got up to 600 and decided not to go cross country because of the walk and the time. It was really nice to practice getting up and working the lift. I'm retrospect...a small xc would have been fun

How far an xc is possible from there? Sea looks close. Get convergence along the coast?

I've looked at some flights on xcontest... There have been some long flights from devil's Dyke... I remember one flight ending close to Canterbury. I've seen others which end on the coast at Brighton and newhaven. Admittedly you're not going to break distance records from here, but you can get a decent flight in
