It was because EMI America did not give him enough of the right promotion - especially to his albums. Sir Cliff was very excited in 2004 and 2005 when his album 'Something's Goin' On' recorded mostly in Nashville and written by mostly top American songwriters (including a minor US hit in 'What Car') was given a sort of 'thumbs up' by his American record company. But he was then told that because of his age = they could not promote the album properly as they have the idea it would not appeal. Cliff was rightly annoyed Bless him.😀
my favorite of yours is the intro to revolution...wish it was a tad slower or tabbed but hey you've nailed it, wish you were a new yorker, and a teacher! (as in lessons..) thanks again!
sorry about that . I watch it again then I seen the rest of it lol . 2 thumb's up great lesson .. a phone call came in while I was watchin it the first time . then turn around it was over . I thought to my self. man I want a better LQQK at the chords.. so my fault thanks
@@robbiecrites4683 but Robbie you got to understand that is a classic chord inversion that used by many bands and songs If you were to basically follow that run only muting a little bit and making it more of a gallop you do have the beginnings to play along to dreams I'll never see from Molly hatchet
I watched Oscar Robinson play for the Cincinnati Royals and the Milwaukee Bucks. He was a Great Player, never missed from the free throw line , he was a thick guard. He use to rest the ball in one hand and shoot his foul shots. I was Celtic fan , I hated Oscar , he was just so good. I agree, best era of NBA basketball was the 70's , Knicks , Celtics , 76'ers , Lakers. These clowns today would be lucky to be bench players on a roster, that was the level of talent in the NBA back in the 70's ! I have not watched an NBA game since Larry Bird retired, today's NBA product is dreadful .
Oliver Oliver Actually, back in the 80s, I was a Sixers fan. Dr. J is still my all-time favorite player. Those Sixers/Celtics games back then were incredible. Still, Bird is in my Top 5 of best NBA players ever.
Oliver Oliver I never saw him play, but Oscar Robinson has to be near the top of the list. He averaged a triple-double over an entire season. We'll never see anybody do that again. Jordan is in the conversation, obviously. Magic was brilliant. But for me, the 1970s were the golden years of the NBA. George Gervin, Dr. J, Elvin Hayes, Moses Malone...
