Jesus, so good to see an interviewer genuinely interested in the questions he's asking and someone that knows the background of these artists. Devlin been one of my fav artists for years, some stuff ain't great but in this scene a lot of artists seem to struggle with putting a full album together

Really enjoyed this interview :) I Apologise.. not heard of you (interviewer) But you were great nonetheless, asked very valid questions, and spoke your mind with true passion for the artist. Unlike some of the cheesy interviews I see today, trying to get views through gimmicks, that you can tell pisses the interviewee off. Been a massive fan of Devlin, since Bud, Sweat and Beers. Would love to say since day 1 but I unfortunately didn't get that pleasure, Although I see stray songs floating about youtube that I like to catch up on :D It's nice to see Devlin so level headed and knows he has support even when underrated. It's refreshing to see such an open and honest interview :D to both of you, keep up the good work.

I’ll say he’s the best lyricist this country has ever produced. Only 2 people I’d say can compete with him on the LYRICAL side of things are Akala and Ghetts. He’s exactly what a real MC is, not bothered about mainstream success, not bothered about views n money. He knows there’s nobody like him and he shows it himself with his songs. UK’s eminem in many ways. Not cuz he’s white in a black mans game but he’ll release music to prove his lyrical credibility regardless of what other people think.

music is subjective, so some people may not like that some but others will.

i still kinda feel that those lyrics in cold blooded are a REALLY big coincidence to the whole larry thing going on at the time. he just so happens to put that in his song at that point in time. but whatever you say dude i aint stressing you. the big problem i have though is even if he didnt mean anything with those lyrics, louis knows whats going on with the larry stylinson stuff so why would he cooment about this album if he knew it would cause an up roar, because if it was me i would have kept it to myself unless i wanted someone to see it.

I think the Album is perfect, The Devil In and Dreamland from Mic Righteous are some hard albums. Tbh I'm quite glad Ed Sheeran isn't on the album because he's just not my cup of tea at all. Devlin's rap and Ed Sheeran just isn't anything like Devlin.
