Devon Achane || Texas A&M Aggies Running Back || 2022 Junior Highlights 

I've read so many scouting reports questioning Achane as an NFL prospect because of his size, and it makes me wonder if they even watch his tape. Speed may be his primary forte, but watch some of these plays and you will see a STRONG runner who is not afraid to work between the tackles and initiate contact. It seems like half of the plays in this reel show him breaking arm tackles and gaining 3-4 yards after contact against SEC defenses. Eclipsed 100 yards rushing in half the games he played this year, 1102 yards on the season and 5.6 YPC in 2022. He was utilized like a bellcow at A&M and showed he could sustain the workload and produce. People are writing him off thinking that he's some gimmicky track star. Achane is an excellent football player who happens to have track star abilities. He has the potential to be a great NFL running back if he ends up in the right situation. I could see him absolutely tearing it up in the right offense. Miami would be the perfect landing spot for him imo.

If not for the trainwreck he was surrounded by, he probably could've won the Heisman this year. To do what he did with no blocking, predictable playcalling, and (for half the year) a nonthreatening passing game is nothing short of incredible. One of the most talented offensive CFB players I've ever seen, just never really was in even a decent position to showcase it

He makes fast people look not fast

Great fit for the Dolphins. He should seize the RB1 Job before seasons end.

Get this damn kid on the Titans before Henry is done. Its been so annoying watching the last 3.5 years as the former GM pass over every speed threat like this when it's absolutely ridiculous to never add a counter threat who can exploit edges and outside when henry compacts every defense every game every year. Not to mention the return ability it adds. Just sprinkling this trait into a couple toss plays , couple wheel routes, couple targets or decoys lined up in slot. To much value and to much of a no brainer to still not have this on the tn roster. I can't think of anyone outside of maybe Bengals who don't keep this trait around every year. Its silly 😋

Achane is literally the only reason A&M won 5 games. Without him they would lose even more. He was that good and everyone else around him was that bad.
