Tried this out minus the Kashmiri chilli and yoghurt as didn’t have any at home - turned out delicious me and my husband greatly enjoyed this today - thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe 😊
Hands down the best Keema recipe on YT! I have tried plenty but this was was amazing! The measurements and timing was bang on. Used one tablespoon of yoghurt because I am not a big fan of it. The tomato sauce gave it just enough sweetness and brought the flavour to another level. Well done! Subscribed.

I tried this recipe and it is amazing. I didn't have curd/yogurt, but it still turned out amazing. Thank you so much for this recipe and for all your other amazing recipes.
The ingredients calls for tomato sauce, as this is added right at the end I take it it is ketchup as opposed to tomato purée/paste which is usually added earlier and cooked out. Thanks. PS I did the recipe and used tomato paste diluted with water and added it just after the dry spices and it was amazing.

Can I just ask what difference does the curd make? I’ve seen one with and one without, I’m just curious to know what benefit the curd adds. Thanks for sharing your recipes.
Hello gorgeous, it adds creaminess to the dish, makes it more rich and yummier! My wife can't keep her hands off me after she's had this dish with some freshly cooked rice! Hot stuff!
I recommend adding the spices once the onions start yellowing, just before you add the meat. That way, the spices activate under high heat and become aromatic.
In our house, we add a couple of extra steps. We mix a bit of vinegar into the mince to help tenderize it slightly and give it a lighter flavour. The potatoes are coated in salt and turmeric and then shallow fried till half-done before being added into the keema.
