Ingredients:
10 prawns
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 lemon, squeezed
1/2 cup toor dal (pigeon peas)
1/4 tsp salt
A pinch of hing (asafoetida)
Water, as required
1 cup rice
2 tsp oil, for cooking prawns
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 tomato, pureed and finely chopped
Coriander leaves, chopped, for cooking tomato puree and garnishing
2 tsp vinegar
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oil, for cooking dal
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
Barista, for garnishing rice
